I have purchased complete items as well as complete uppers at very affordable prices. I mean these guys are the lowest priced a AR uppers and complete Works in the Industry. I only had one issue with a bolt carrier group and after an email and a few sent photos I received a brand new entire bolt carrier group in the mail free of charge. I will continue to do business with bear Creek for all my AR needs. They recently came out with a Glock clone pistol but for some stupid reason they priced it at $750! I will continue to get Bear Creek uppers but I'm only going to buy PSA daggers because of that outrageous price point. Ignore their hand guns and focus on their awesome uppers.
I purchased a 12.7x42 side charging upper in April of 2022. The firing pin broke after 124 rounds.
I emailed Bear Creek to see if it was under warranty or not. I have not heard back, aside from the automated reply.
I called Customer Service, she verified my order number, address etc. Created a packing slip and shipped out a new firing pin.
The new firing pin arrived in about a week. I installed the pin and c was at the range the following day!
It's been working great since then.
I bought the parkerized 20" heavy barrel in 223 complete upper. I added a bi-pod, rings and scope. So far I love it. Great grouping and stout feel. It was at my door in 3 days. I love it so much I bought a 10" stainless 223wylde too. Arrives tomorrow, 3 days. I m sure it won't be the last purchase.
Not impressed got a left handed side charging 7.62 by 39 upper and after 200 rounds my extractor broke like cheap pot metal leaving an empty casing stuck in the berral that I can't get out now hopfully I can get a new Part can't get my money back and don't want a store credit you get what to you pay for and I learned that lesson budget gun with budget parts performing poorly who would have thought never again
5 years ago I set my bear creek arsenal upper on a anderson self built lower. I have not had any problems with my setup. I see alot of problems with side chargers. I am very hard on my equipment and this just keeps eating. Just wanted to sound off on my experience with BCA. Good luck everyone.
I bought the 308 side charging ar10 upper with 18" barrel. I bought the lower from BCA as well, and was excited to own a 308 rifle.
It arrived with the shipping box damaged. The poor packing job allowed the side charger to bust through the cardboard and the side charger was all beat up and marred.
I then noticed the rear gas plug they use to seal off the empty hole where a traditional ar would have it's rear charging handle was way over tightened to the point I had to use pliers to remove it. Once removed I found the plugs threads were deformed and chips of aluminum were all in the bolt action.
I cleaned the rifle and used a 3/8 bolt to replace the companies defective plug. I used a file to smooth out to jagged aluminum on the charging handle from poor packing, and took it to the range.
It fired 5 rounds before it jammed up and would nut fire the 6th or 7th rounds. The range official looked at the cartridges that were not fired and he said it looked very dangerous the primer was struck on the lower right side instead of in the middle and it was a long indentation. They said something was very wrong and I could not fire the rifle any longer due to the danger of it exploding.
I returned the upper assembly of the rifle, and beat creek arsenal shipped a warranty replacement.
The replacement came in the same condition, with the side charging handle buster through the cardboard box and all marred up... I do not high expectations for the gun range at this point for this new warranty replacement upper receiver assembly.
No issues with the lower yet, but it only has operated five rounds.
I ordered a honeycomb fluted 5.56 upper for my first build. I clicked it on the website, checked out and paid. I received a cerakoted upper, in the 5.56 caliber like I ordered, but was not fluted. I contacted the company and they said I never ordered that, and was mistaken. The lady I spoke to, was not friendly whatsoever... that is one thing I won't deal with... hey a hole, I'm giving your company my hard earned money... just saying. The fluted upper sold out, never to return. It's not that big of a deal, I like the look of the upper I received and it operated ok, on the first mag. After that you would fire a round and the fcg would not reset. I would have to cycle the safety, then it would reset the trigger... annoyed, I tore it down to inspect, ya know, to see if I laid the fcg in improperly or what have you. The face of the disconnect was burred up and not operating properly. I fixed that by dropping a velocity 3lb pull, drop in fcg... voila problem gone. I agree the quality for the price is great... but the customer service lady I spoke to left a bad taste in my mouth... bad customer service is the worst. Other than that, I feel they have a solid product thus far... just ordered a 7.62x 39 fde upper for my M4e1 lower... we shall see!
Top shelf uppers at a very good price... seriously! I've prurchased 2 each complete uppers from BCA with fantastic reliable performance and will definently be purchasing a 3rd complete upper. 5 star and both thumbs-up to Bear Creek Arsenal. Larry in SC
First shots with my BCA 20 inch 223 Wylde 1/8 twist side charger W stainless barrel. Failure to feed rounds after first fired using P Mags. Switched to military 20 round mags and problem solved. One failure to eject then it ran like a Swiss watch. Just needs some breaking in. Hardly over 25 rounds fired with different types of ammo and grouping at or slightly over an inch. I was concerned with some of the negative reviews I read but, so far this BCA runs and is just as accurate as my first AR that was much more expensive. Cleaned barrel between 5 round firings.
I have two of bca uppers a 7.5 inn 556 and a 16 inch stainless with a 1:8 twist and I got too say from packaging too range bca has it together. There guns equipment uppers lowers has never failed once and shots are true even at 150 yards with my pistol upper. Thanks bca
I have purchased 2 uppers (. 223 Wylde and 6.5 Grendel) one is 18 inch and the other 20 inch. Both are quality and accurate. Function has been flawless and the outer finish has been great. I just purchased one of their Brande scopes and will take it to the range soon. My son purchased 2 uppers also and has been pleased so far. I recommend them for the budget minded builder and shooter.

I love it a lot but a Mexican was trying to kidnap me and my sister and followed us watched us he was a strange man and he tryed following us home we were lucky and left before time.
I bought one of the 300 Blackout 10 and a half inch uppers I find it to be an excellent upper the fit and the Finish are excellent, the accuracy is 1 in or less at 100 yards. I did the testing with Winchester 125 grain Full Metal Jacket the weapon operated flawlessly no jams or hiccups I would recommend this company to anyone that's looking for a reasonably priced upper. I put a 1x4 for the testing.

Purchased a 20" ar10 416r ss flutted upper, the barrel was bad, I was shooting 1.5-2.5 inch groupings with reloads using 4895 imr at 43 grains wasn't the shooter I was a distinguished marksman in the marine corps my other ar10 shoots dimes... Well I sent barrel back June 13th. It's June 29th and they still haven't sent me a barrel replacement. It's upsetting you spend money and receive a product that's bad and they take there time to send a replacement. These types of returns should be expedited. It' shouldn't take this long it's ridiculous. You guys need to take care of your customers if you want to keep them customers of your products

I purchased a 762x39 gen 2 side charging AR-15 platform and they sent me a 556. Wtf... Took me five plus calls to even get the return shipping label to the FFL dealer so they can ship the gun back. I had to do all the legwork. I'm calling every couple days to try to get them to send me the right gun that I ordered. It's getting close to 2 months since I purchased the gun and still fighting to get the gun. Nothing but a big headache! Only reason why I didn't give it one star is because customer service has been friendly but getting no progress. Every call is frustrating!

I have ordered and received 2 different uppers from them to try out one being there dedicated 22 lr upper and the other being there 22 wmr upper or 22 mag some of you may know them as. And here is what I found to be the biggest issue with them. I had no issue with the orders or how they were shipped. My issues seemed to be with there firing pins being so wide and big that you will not get a good stricken hit on the primers or rim of a 22 case. No mater what trigger groups you use. I've tried the palmetto 3.5 trigger. Palmetto polished triggers with a spring kit to lighten them up for a good 22 lr trigger which didn't work at all and a cmc trigger group at 3.5 lbs. both the cmc and palmetto drop in groups work fine. But looking at primmer sticks all are found to be very light and wide which is the reason for light strikes. I tried Winchester m 22 shells which would not fire at all. But work just fine out of a Ruger and palmetto 22 lr just fine. Also the Remington gold and cvo rounds all cycle well and then I found it to like the Norma rds the best. I think that if they narrowed up the stricken area on the firing pine and harden the firing pines they would have a better product. But that's just my opinion as a gun nut with many different models of guns.
