Bavarian Clockworks

I grew up in my childhood hearing the sound of a cuckoo clock my entire life. Finally, as an adult I purchased a similar one my mother had when I grew up. Unfortunately, I accidently ordered the (1) day vs the (8) day and only realized after the first day. There is no return policy once the box is opened. We also have an issue with our cuckoo getting stuck hanging out of the door. We tried leveling the clock several times but it seems door to the cuckoo gets hung up on the edge of the wood carved outside where it opens. Overall, the workmanships of the clock is good but maintaining it daily is more work than I planned on my part. So after a long time to finally invest in this clock, I ended up so disappointed:-( partly my own fault.

This cuckoo clock was packaged beautifully. It was a gift for my Mom and she loved it. It's a beautiful clock. It arrived in time for Christmas. The instructions to hang the clock and get it running were very clear and easy to understand.

I would have given it five stars but one of my little wolves got broken off of his pedestal in the shipping... But I decided it was my little hurt wolf and I used crazy glue and I figured well this just makes it my special clock. Honestly I didn't want to go through the ordeal of having to wait for a new one and shipping it back and everything I just couldn't handle it because I wanted this clock on my wall. The energy in my home is changed. It made my mom very happy I can feel her spirit here more. When I'm not at home she has been spending lots of time with the cats. Thank you

In trying to replace an old cuckoo clock that had broken, I searched around the internet for one that was similar to our old one. The closest match was from Bavarian Clockworks. While a little more expensive than others I found, this one looked to be higher quality. Having received it and hanging it on our wall, it works well. It kept accurate time right out of the box, and has pleasant cuckoo;s on the hour and half hour. A wind of the clock lasts almost exactly one day.

Purchased this clock after doing some research, and I was nervous because of the price point. But the clock came in a timely fashion, was packaged very well, and was very easy to assemble and mount. I am very happy with this clock!

Our old cuckoo clock has not worked for years. We finally decided to replace it as a Christmas gift for us both. We received it so fast and expertly packed securely. Wonderful experience. Will definitely shop there again.

I bought this Clock for my mother for her 75th birthday. It is so beautiful and she loves it. Wonderful price excellent quality great company to do business with.

We absolutely love the clock - it is beautiful; but, we didn't expect the issues we are having. One of the dancing couples was off it's pedestal when we opened the box. We were able to put the figurine back on; however, we cannot get the time to set accurately. It looses minutes every hour and if we can set the hour correctly then the half hour is off by one minute or more. We have moved the pendulum up and down ever since we received the clock. Not worth the hassle and additional money to take to clock repair! It is disappointing to make a substantial purchase like this - to invest in our history, only to receive a clock that doesn't work properly. We also have to wind it several times a day. Didn't realize this as it said it was a 1 time a day wind. Guess it could have been worse -

This is the second clock I've purchased from Bavarian Clockworks this year. I've been really pleased with them. Cuckoo clocks are fragile and complicated, yet my 19" model arrived in great shape from Fittengen, Germany. I've never had a better shopping or customer service experience at any retail store.

I am very disappointed with the service of the Bavarian Clockworks. First of all the clock did not arrive on time. Second I had a hard time setting the time and getting in contact with them but when I did they were able to help. Then for no reason the clock fell off of the wall when I picked it up and Put it on the kitchen table it was in pieces one of the acorn weights was off and the chain was all broken apart and when I looked closer the acorn that was still hanging on the weights and attached to the clock were coming apart. I'm sure that acorn would Have fallen off to and I believe when it broke off it just jarred the clock and the whole thing came off and went to the floor.
