Their website reads "OLYMPUS BLN-1 LI-ION RECHARGEABLE BATTERY" so I expect n olympus battery, not a cheap knockoff off brand. There is no way in hell I'm putting a cheap POS in my $900 camera!

I ordered two 60Watt replacement chargers from BatteryHopp for both my wife and daughters's Apple laptops considering that the original charger cord has fraying issues and is $79 to replace from Apple. BatteryHopp offers a generic replacement charger for $25. My concern started when the charger arrived and I noted it was not U. L. approved meaning it has not been tested for fire hazards, etc. When I e-mailed BatteryHopp support to ask about whether or not U. L. approval is important, I get a generic response from JessB stating that they sent me the wrong charger and that they sell only genuine chargers... and that I will soon get an RMA number for the return of the product(s). The truth is that I did receive the correct generic chargers however, I have serious concerns about fire hazards and possible damage to our Apple laptops because the chargers are NOT U. L. approved as are the original Apple chargers. Do yourself a favor, think about your safety (fire to your home, apt. Etc.) and order an original replacement charger from Apple and put electrical tape around the cord for strain relief BEFORE it frays and causes you problems.
Not only did I receive a defective product, I experienced horrible customer service when trying to return it. Instead of exchanging the product, I asked for a refund because I wanted nothing to do with this company. I would never recommend to anyone!
This place is a scam. They knowingly put the wrong address down knowing it will come back to them but they will still get their payment. There is no telling what they are actually even shipping out since the customer wont get it anyway. Stay Away! Just go to the real store and pay the extra to get what you need. At least you will have peace of mind.
After putting in a order I get an email with the confirmation number and notice the shipping address is wrong. I call the customer service number and give my confirmation number and it's a totally different name and product listed (1st red flag)
They tell me call back in a couple hours and the system should update. I wait a few hours and call back. I talk to "Mary" and give her my order number and same thing. Still somebody else with a different product. She says wait 24 hours even though the website says same day shipping (red flag #2)
I wake up the next morning to an email showing the order is being shipped to the wrong address. I call again and what are the chances that it's "Mary" again. I ask how can I get a confirmation number that they are unable to confirm and the whole point of the two previous calls where to correct the shipping address. This time there's a crying baby in the background (flag 3,4 and 5) When I ask what's up with the baby in the background "Mary" quickly moved to another room and closes the door. I ask for a supervisor and she hangs up on me. I call back and again "Mary" answers (red flags have been shooting out of my $#*! like yesterday's Taco Bell by this point) she's on a cellphone and the room she's in to get away from the baby has the worst reception and nothing is solved. I'm told to call back later after the systems update. Basically this is a family business working from home selling counterfeit products at super low prices. I wouldn't chance putting any fake battery or plug in any of my equipment. Im all for supporting small businesses and mom and pops but not when its counterfeit and they're portraying themselves to be something else.
Save yourself time and spend the money on the real instead of searching for the deal. Super Shady.

I called in their customer service department, that i have placed an order and eventually decided to cancel and opted to get a refund, since i have already found my old charger, upon calling to cancel the order, i did receive an automatic confirmation that cancellation has been done and automatic they've processed a credit back on to my account. Thank you so very much!
Ive called their customer hotline, informing them that i have selected online an incorrect type of a charger. The agent that i have spoke to was very accomodating, you could really feel the quality of their service. Then immediate action they have occured to resolve my problem. Keep it up guys.
Ordered a Pentax D-LI8 battery and charger.
No battery was included in the shipment received and the charger (despite being listed as a Pentax D-LI8 charger in the shipping invoice) turned out to be a Vivitar charger which was for a completely different battery size and contact configuration.
Contacting Battery Hop via both email and the toll-free number (which promises 'fanatic' and 'fast' customer service) revealed further problems in dealing with this company. Initial attempts to contact them via phone failed (bad connection, dropped call back, calling back during business hours with no answer). Email response failed to respond to the issues - missing / wrong merchandise and refund request.
After being parked on hold for over 10 min. Before being cut off in my last phone call to customer service, I was unable to get them to commit to a full refund for my purchase - fully warranted given that nothing I ordered from them was received or as advertised.
I wait to hear from Battery Hop on the customer service front. Meanwhile, SiteJabber will not allow me to give them the 0-star rating they deserve (hence 1-star). I have decided to take matters into my own hands to achieve a final resolution of this matter, costing me time and inconvenience which only add to this fiasco.
