DON'T BUY FROM THEM! I ORDERED A REPLACEMENT MAC BATTERY, THEY NEVER SENT A TRACKING NUMBER. I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH A VERY RUDE LADY, SENT AN EMAIL GOT SOME RESPONSES THAT SAID I'D GET MY PACKAGE SOON IT'S JUST BACKED UP. NEVER GOT THE NUMBER SO DECIDED TO CALL MY CREDIT COMPANY AND SAW THAT THEY HAD CHARGED ME WITHOUT SENDING SHIPMENT CONFIRMATION. I HAD MY CREDIT COMPANY PUT IN A DISPUTE AND CANCEL MY CHARGE ALSO PUTTING THAT COMPANY AND ANY AFFILIATES ON NOTICE WITHIN THE CREDIT INDUSTRY. I WISH I HAD WENT FURTHER DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE OF THE INTERNET BEFORE I MADE THIS PURCHASE. ALL IS WELL THO, JUST CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

The battery I purchased got extremely hot and melted the 2nd day using it. Luckily nothing happened to my laptop. I sent it back for a refund and received an email stating I'd receive a refund with 2 business days. Nothing came, so I emailed them and same thing, received a response that it would be processed within 2 business days. This cycle went on and on for 2 months. They never answer the phone so I'm stuck to emails that are getting nowhere. Total scam. I'm working now to get my refund through fraud processes.

Returned a battery 5 months ago and have yet to receive my refund. I've called once every week for 5 months and I get the same answer "accounting is investigating" Ordered battery through Amazon. I am in the process of contacting Amazon to see if they are aware of this company's return practice on not honoring refunds.

No refund

I, too, have been scammed by this company. I ordered a charger. Shortly after arrival, I decided to return it, so I mailed it back to them. 3+ weeks later with no refund and not hearing anything from them, I contact them. I'm told they cannot process my refund without a tracking number, which I did not have. Nowhere on their site does it say that you need a tracking number to return things, and they could easily locate my package any number of ways. They've refused my refund, so I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I encourage anyone who has been scammed by this company to do the same.

Battery Hop is the WORST
January 10, 2017

I should have believed what I was told - Battery Hop stinks. I ordered and received - after many weeks - a laptop charger and shocking development... it DIDN'T work. Requested a return and refund and shipped it back within days of receiving it and have yet to receive a refund and this was 6 months ago. I have E-mailed and called and once even got a human on the phone that "guaranteed my refund to post the next day". Such BS. Don't buy from this site - you're better off setting your money on fire.

FRAUD
December 30, 2016

Ultimate fraud. They shipped my battery to the wrong address and jerked me around for a week. They kept telling me "Please wait 24 hours. I have escalated this issue to upper management for approval of re-shipment." Bullsh*t. I demanded to speak to upper management, but of course they couldn't transfer me. That's because there is none. This is a scam of a company. Now I'm fighting for a refund.

Battery Hop is a scam

This site is a scam. My battery stopped working in 2 days. I sent it back under the warranty and waited 3 weeks before I contacted Battery Hop. I was left on hold for 20 minutes before an operator told me that he didn't know where my order was and hung up. I'm contacting the better business bureau.

Frauds!

I found a battery on this website using my macs Id number. I ordered it on 10/24/16 pd $28.10 the website didn't correctly match the battery to my mac. After a call "rick" said to return wrong one before the new one was sent. I did so, n2 wks later still no battery. I call and a women told me i needed to pay more before it was sent( they failed to inform me this in prior calls, fine i paid $5 on 11/21/16. I call that following Friday after and "rick" tells me" oh i cancelled that order because i thought u did not pay." i was furious, i told him it was paid on that previous weeks Monday. He saw it was paid, apologized and sent it out, another 2wks later i receive it. Only to find that it was faulty too! I called again the following Thursday spoke to him again and he tells me he needed to send it to review with upper management. They would get back to me 2 wks again still no word no email and no phone calls from them. I call again, im on hold for 20+ only to get a bad connection i asked the girl to call me back she refused i hung up and called again and held for 43 min! Before the same girl who refused to call me back answers and knew it was me she said "hello mam i am sorry for hanging up i could not hear you, she knew it was me so she clearly saw my number and she still failed to return my call or answer my call she made me wait 43.min more! I ask for a supervisor and she comes on talking apologies for the phone problem,, yadda. Yadda... yadda at this point she tells me they will refund my money and then i cant hear her anymore i keep talking to the phone and still nothing. Call ended at 53 min time! My suggestion STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDS!

I ordered a charger for a Mac Book pro as a gift for my son in law. I gave it to him 30 days after I received the item. It was completely dead as checked with a meter. Since it is over 30 days, I have to pay for postage to get it back to them and will probably get another POS.

Don't order from these people. They sell Chinese garbage!

Ordered a replacement Apple charger, got the wrong part, and got the total runaround when I requested the correct item. The company is supposed to be in Texas, but the "sales rep" didn't even know the correct format for a US phone number. I requested a supervisor, was told that they would "call back", which they haven't.
Not to be trusted.

AVOID- Scam Company

Like several others have shared this company is not legit. The address is out of Texas but these are not unsteadying individuals. We purchased a charger form them. IT worked for about a month before it failed for no apparent reason. We got a prompt response from them to send it back for a full replacement since it happened within their warranty window. We sent it back and never got a replacement. We have contact them numerous times. Each time they respond apologetically ensuring that this is not how they run a company and tell us the product will be sent immediately. Two months later we still have not gotten a replacement despite repeated inquires to Jess or Emily. At one point they indicated it was sent and even provided a USPS tracking number (which came from a different email and company logo). According to the USPS this was not an active tracking number, slick. Lesson Learned. Avoid this company.

Scam, shuck and jive

I bought a replacement charger for my kid's Macbook Pro. The charger began to overheat and emit smoke within the first 2 months. Since this is outside "it's 30 days", I have to pay for return shipping. Ridiculous. Their defective product could've injured my son or even started a fire in my house. I called them back to complain and get the issue escalated only to be met by an apathetic and very rude agent who eventually hung up on me. Now they won't even answer the phone.

I only wish I would've read all the negative reviews on this site. Stay away from this company! Terrible!

Crooks!

I unfortunately bought a 85w battery from BatteryHop in August of this year, 2016.
In less than 2 months my first battery melted from the inside out, fortunately my daughter smelled the smoke coming from the battery and then proceeded to unplug it and inform me. I informed BatteryHop that their battery failed and than they put me through a ridiculous obstacle course just to have me pay for the return shipping and wait a week for a replacement to show up, because their warranty is good for 1 year and for 1 replacement ONLY. My replacement showed up and failed within 2 weeks. This business will be reported to the better business bureau and I will continue to share my experience with everyone I know in hopes to save one person from wasting their hard earned money and TIME!
I am headed to BEST BUY to go get an APPLE Charger!

Terrible

Ordered the wrong part because the picture is the same on the website. I sent them the issue and they didn't fix the website 8 weeks later. They sent me a replacement unit which was awesome but they sent the same wrong one. 4 weeks later they say they can send the right one but I have to ship the first one (on my own dime) and then they said they have to charge me another $15 to send the one I originally ordered. Still haven't got it, its been 8 weeks.

I ordered a charger back in June from a company called "SpeedyChargers" based out of Sugar Land, TX. The charger never worked and I sent it back for a refund. I was promised a refund and got a confirmation email saying that my order had been cancelled and my refund had been made. However, I never received the refund. I contacted the company again and again trying to find answers until one day my email came back undeliverable and phone service had been cut off. So I was on the lookout for new off-brand mac charger companies opening in TX - sure enough, BatteryHop is also based out of Sugar Land, TX with an address just a few minutes away from the previous one. The only difference is that the previous address was at a Parcel Plus and the current address is a home address down the street. Don't trust this company!

Worst scam I've ever been in in my life. Ordered a new charger from my macbook air and got a defective charger. Contacted "Jess B" and said they would send me an RMA label to return it and while it's in transit back they'll be able to send me a new one. TWO WEEKS go by and I hear nothing from them (no confirmation/shipping label/nothing). I confront Jess B asking what the deal is and they respond with a very vague email saying it's in transit. Another week goes by and being fed up, I email again asking for a refund and that I want nothing to do with them anymore and I just want my money back. His response is that a return shipment has already been addressed and they can't issue a refund. A MONTH goes by and I lose it, knowing now I'm in a scam and ill never get my money back. Finally, my boyfriend calls customer service and they said they'll issue a refund... it's been two weeks now and still no refund... now I'm out $30+. JUST GO BUY A REAL CHARGER FROM BEST BUY OR THE APPLE STORE. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE SCAM.

The Worst STAY AWAY
September 26, 2016

This is by far the most low budget company I have ever experienced in my life. I waited more than 2 days on a Apple Charger (supposed to get in 2 days). Finally it arrived, and I have it out of the package for 2 min plug the charger in the outlet and boom, the thing breaks. This is a sad excuse of a business and should be ashamed selling customers the low quality products they offer. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone.

P.s. Customer service sucks!

They do not ship daily. Their delivery schedule is a joke. Their customer service... well I'd be able to comment on it IF THEY HAD ANY. No worth it
