First charger they sent didn't work at all. Second broke after 9 months.

For the return, they asked me to pay shipping and a $15 "admin fee" -- even though the charger was still under its 1 year warranty.

Not a company that cares about its products or its customers.

This company is a joke. I paid for 2 Business Day shipping and it didn't get here until a week had past. Their customer service organization is also a joke.

I ordered a charger on 6/6/17. The first one they sent was damaged on arrival - not by shipping, it was already scratched and looked used. So, I returned it to be replaced, it's now 7/20/17 and I still do not have my replacement. Their customer service is absolutely terrible; they do not follow-up with you as they say they will in their emails, they told me they'd ship my replacement and didn't do so UNTIL I EMAILED THEM AGAIN...!

Seriously, save yourself the time and headache and order elsewhere.

Ordered 2 chargers for my macbook pro, the chargers (both) were bad, did not work. They have a very bureaucratic way of dealing with customer service finally received a return shipping label to return both chargers, it has been more than 18 days they received both chargers in return and I have no refund, my inquire for the refund is being processed by the "finance department" (lol...) for 18 days... So I opened a case with Paypal... and the struggle to get my money back is still going on.
I purchased an original charger at the apple store, it cost me double the price but it works. Learned the lesson. Never again.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

WORST COMAPNY EVER

I never ever do this, in fact this is the first time I have.

I placed an order for a 60W MagSafe for my MacBook on April 13. I received it in time April 22, when I connected the charger to my MacBook the light didn't turn on. I left the charger connected all day just to make sure, it did not charge.

I sent an email to ask them if it the charger lights up, which they did send a response quickly sating that the light is suppose to turn on. It never did so I sent a response to let them know, and they said that I didn't need to respond to the email because they already had help me...

So I had to start a new email letting them know that I wanted to return it since it was not working and they told me that I probably ordered the wrong charger, to provide them a serial number to verify that it was the right charger, I did. I never got a response back.

Eventually I called and requested the return, I received the return label the same day (May 2). Because they provided a tracking number I could verify when they had received the package which was May 11th. After various emails and phone calls as of today July 5th I still have not received a refund. I keep getting the same response of it will be 4-5 business days to receive it. One of the phone calls the lady that attended me said that they were having problems with their system and their finance department was out. I asked so the reason I haven't received my refund in over a month is because your system was down... long pause and a simple yes...

It's not even about the money, 30 bucks total but this ridiculous.

Worst customer service, I do not recommend it at all.

It turned out that the MacBook was not working

I placed a review under 24 hour charger as that's how it was billed but I transacted with BatteryHop. To confirm what others have said, they will send you a junk knock off, replace with another junk knock off then when that fails offer you to buy another at 15% discount.

It's not about the money but more about at some point somebody may get hurt. Mine got so hot I could not touch it, The second popped and smelled of burning electrical. At the time it was connect to a surge suppressor but not my computer.

Every one star on this board is correct. I feel your pain. BatteryHop had some good prices. What got me was they marked out the $70 price tag and ptu $30. What was I thinking? Well never again! I also had a macbook charger sent to 2 weeks later. They are horrible and sell junk. They aren't even from Texas and from overseas as I have contacted many people and the BBB about it. It isn't even apple. When you try to contact or email customer service I am sure it is a bot and fake. They stole $8.00 in shipping from me and also $35 and won't refund me.

SENT ME JUNK

I received one adapter for my MacBook Pro. It lasted four months. They sent me a replacement that has lasted 2 months. They will not replace this one. They will offer a 15% discount if I order one - - - NO WAY!

I wish I had found this website before I placed the order. My MacBook charger was broken, and I needed one within 2 days because I will need to use my laptop. I placed the order before 6AM on 6/21 for 2-day shipping (and I paid for the extra shipping charge). Their website says item will go out THE SAME DAY if order is placed before 4:30PM. They did not send the package until 6/22, and by FIRST CLASS MAIL, NOT 2-day priority. I was pissed off, because I absolutely need the charger by 6/23. I called their customer service, and was connected to people who sound like they are in India. All they were saying was they would "contact the shipping department" (but refused to transfer me to the mysterious "shipping department") and that they would "reach out to USPS to hold the package." HOW IS THAT GOING TO HELP? I asked them how they were going to make sure I will get the package by the end of 6/23, they just told me to "calm down," AS IF I was the one being unreasonable. This is THE WORST company ever existed. Now I have to buy the charger in Apple store and try to get a refund from BatterHop through Paypal. If I didn't pay by Paypal I would be 100% screwed for sure, because it looks like BatteryHop will NOT issue any refund under any circumstances. I don't know where all these "5-star" reviews on their website come from. They must all be fake, i. E., posted by their own people.

When my macbook charger broke, I was looking online for a replacement. I ended up on Batteryhop and decided to purchase a new charger. As soon as i hit "buy" i realized that i was buying a counterfeit and cancelled my order. I cancelled it within 10 minutes of hitting buy. I received an email the next day saying that my order had been cancelled and to expect a refund in 3-4 days. After a week or so I called to ask about my refund. I was again told to wait 3-4 days. This went on for over 3 months. Every time they said the same thing... refund never came. I eventually got a refund from paypal after submitting a claim but these crooks had no intention of ever refunding me. Stay away!

I too add my name to a list of people burned by this company because I didn't do my due diligence. It appears you're getting an apple product charger but you're really getting a knock off from some country overseas. I paid the $30 thinking I got a good deal but it only worked for 3 months. When I reached out to the company they did respond in a timely manner and were willing to send another one as long as I paid an admin fee of $15 and the cost to ship it to them. Why would I do that? So lesson learned... do better research on the product and the company selling the products.

Follow up 6/19/17

Emailed the company for follow up on 6/3/17 and told them that I need to cancel my order as the charger was needed by 6/3 (which is why I ordered it in early May). No response until 6/7/17 when they stated that they could not stop the order since it was delivered. It arrived on 6/7/17. The charger arrived, but again without the cord as advertised and as shown on the packaging. I have emailed them three times requesting a shipping label so that I can return the replacement item and obtain a refund, but they have not responded to any of my emails. Again... steer clear of this business!

I needed a new charger and this site popped up. They had exactly what I needed (and I happened to need it in a hurry). The site promises shipping "same day" if ordered by 4:30PM. I ordered before that time and paid extra for 2 day shipping. They took two days to ship it and then shipped it regular mail. Needless to say I didn't get the charger when I needed it and had to buy another one.
I emailed their customer service to try to get a refund on at least the shipping since they lied about it and charged me for 2 day shipping. It's almost as if they didn't read my email because the response I got was nonsense. Then I tried to just return it and they have ignored those requests. I'm dealing with it through my credit card company.

So I purchased a charger from battery hop in hope of a replacement for my broken charger. After less then 6 months of use it stops charging. I might charge for a few mins then turns off. One reason why i purchased a charger from battery hop is because they offer a warranty for up to a year. Since I've only had the charger from them for only a few month and its defective. I contacted their company for a replacement. They wanted me to ship the charger back and pay 15 dollars for a new one. They wanted my credit card info send through email. This company is a scam! Be aware. I will no longer purchase from them. There are better companies out there and who can complete their promise to their customers.

Thankfully I found this site and read the real reviews before I placed my order. I am sorry for all those who ordered and never received a good product. I was interested in the 5-star reviews on this site so after reading them (and teaching English as a Second Language for many years) I would say that the 5-star reviews are fake reviews from overseas employees or their relatives and friends. I am so sorry *integrity* was never taught in class to the people, and I am sorry that our country will settle for less all just for a lower price (same in plumbing parts, too). Buyer beware, and country beware!

Found out about this place from a Google ad. Surprised they aren't vetting their merchants harder. Ordered a MacBook Pro charger on the 15th and paid for 2 day shipping. When it didn't arrive on the 17th (despite apparently being shipped from WITHIN MY STATE), I called. Yet another surprised was getting a customer service rep who was clearly not based in Texas let alone in the USA. Tracking number hasn't updated since item was picked up from merchant. Called yesterday and they GUARANTEED the order would arrive today. It hasn't. Moral of the story - do your research on your merchants folks. I know I will from now on. DO NOT ORDER FROM BATTERYHOP.COM!

Please be warned, these guys are not to be trusted. They claimed to have sent me a charger but never received anything. After a period of time and multiple emails, they promised me a refund. The refund never came and after 3 weeks of asking by email, I disputed through my credit card. This is when it got worse, they provided to the credit card company, a different shipping tracking number as evidence that I had received the product. Of course, nothing that they produced showed the delivery address. So I remain in a dispute with them over a $35 item that I never received, they conceded that I never received, and never processed a promised refund.

I received the right charger for my computer (as was confirmed by Batterhop) but it insufficiently charges my laptop (while plugged in, the light on the charger flickers from orange to green and off and on). They never shipped me a replacement. I have tried to get in contact with them and they give me the run around every time.
