Placed an order with battery clerk June 13 now July 7 no order has arrived gave them 1 star low as you can go I do not advise doing business with them if you are in a hurry.
Ordered recommend batteries by the person on the phone. Well they came worked once then not again. Tried calling customer service said they'd refund me., then 2 minutes after I got off the phone got an email from them and they had changed their mind and would NOT refund me. Then talked to the owner who went on to tell me basically I was a liar and the person on the phone didn't recommend the batteries and then proceeded to tell me I didn't know what I was talking about. Anyhow avoid these people at all costs and buy elsewhere.
I ordered 2 weeks ago and have not received a notification about shipping (supposed to be 1-2 day shipping in most of US). I contacted support twice and have not gotten a response in days. First and last time using this site.
I ordered a battery for my Royal Enfield motor cycle i know i ordered the right one by dimensions and polarity they sent me one that was to big and reversed polarity they sent me a return slip i returned the battery and was promised a refund the total i paid including delivery was £46.48 the refunded me £19.67 charging me restocking and for some reason two delivery charges. I have emailed three time now with no response to say i'm disappointed is an understatement AVOID
On march 10th we ordered 2 replacement batteries for our jumper packs. Shipping was late by 2 days. Only received ONE battery in a damaged package! When I reported it the ticket got closed saying order was delivered! The box wasn't even big enough to fit 2 batteries in! Meaning, this was INTENTIONAL on the companies part! I don't know who got a battery at my expense but it is absolutely bull! We will not be using this company again!
Ordered a small tool battery on 4/19 on 4 24 asked for status. No reply. On 4/26 threatened to report them, they replied saying possibly in a week they may mail the battery, maybe. Asked for and am waiting for a refund. Nothing yet.
I purchased batteries for my two scooters, which take a total of 4 batteries, two of them worked fine, the other two would not charge. I call the company they said to send them back for 2 new ones, when I sent them back they claimed that because there were solder on the terminals they would not honor the warranty, Mean while the batteries run together as one and have to be soldered according to the instructions. So they kept my money and batteries. I would not purchase anything from them. Dishonest
After finally receiving the replacement battery for my Metabo Powermaxx, it was defective, not releasing from the drill on one side which then broke to get it out. I contacted company for return authorization. Said not needed. Complied with all the mandates on their shipping label and only received $25 of the $32.77 plus I am out my $4.11 shipping. As I didn't contract with them for defective parts, so am entitled to a full refund plus shipping. Don't waste your time with these scammers.
October 2nd I ordered a battery for my security system and due to an upcoming trip needed it quickly. As we all know shipping and handling costs can get rapidly out of control so I decided to go with 3 day select shipping. Incidentally this ended up being almost 3 times the cost of the battery but due to my circumstance I paid.
To make a long story shorter when the battery did not show up by the 5th I had to find an alternative source. Through a series of contacts with the Battery Clerk Customer Service department, during which none of the promises to get back to me were fulfilled, it was finally conveyed to me that they had shipped it within the "parameters" and UPS delivered it on the 9th. Excuse me if I am wrong but the second to the 9th is a little bit longer than 3 days.
To all reading this I would avoid this vendor at all cost!
While the face of the connection leads are flush with the side of the battery on the Harley Davidson brand battery. This battery has the face of the connection leads recessed 1/4". Thus you have to dramatically bend and modify the seemingly short main positive lead end to account for the lack of a proper fit. My work around was a series of stacked washers and buying longer bolts to make the electrical connections work. Not happy, but need the battery.

It should not be a problem except that Their product is rubbish - I bought 2 12v batteries and after 3 months they could not hold the charge anymore.
While they pretend that the batteries are covered under warranty, they are impossible to return.
Indeed no courrier accepts batteries and also, even if they did, you can budget at least £20 to return such a heavy item To Netherlands.
They know that and nobody returns.

I ordered a Milwaukee 28V replacement battery last week, I paid for it, received an order confirmation and a shipment confirmation. Then yesterday, they sent me a message saying that they refunded my order. When I inquired as to what was happening, they told me that the price had changed and that they were not going to respect the order! What kind of crap policy is that? This is one battery I ordered, not a pallet full.
Ordered a battery and never heard anything. Email battery clerk and they stated they shipped the battery and would email me the shipping information that afternoon (lie). Never heard anything further or received battery. Emailed battery clerk again and ignored my emails. Disputed transaction with Paypal. Horrible seller! Stay away!
We all know apple just wants us to buy new ipods when the battery dies on the old one as apple won't sell you a battery for your ipod. Just go to this site and boom, new ipod again. I can't afford to keep getting new ipods and they all do the same thing just smaller anyways. Save your old ipod and just pop in a new battery.
We ordered four APC Smart-UPS SUA2200 12V 18Ah UPS Replacement Batteries. We received three. When we contacted the vendor, they basically said it was not their problem. The issue can definitely be traced back to the shoddy product packaging. The batteries are very heavy, but are packaged in a thin box. Company's product is okay. Just don't expect any meaningful assistance if there is a problem.
I would not use Battery Clerk again. I ordered a battery for my Tri-Square radios. The battery didn't work at all. I sent it back to Battery Clerk (at my own expense). They assured me that the battery they sent would work in the Tri-Square radio. They sent me another battery and I had the same result. The battery didn't work at all. Then when I asked to get a refund they wouldn't respond to my phone calls or emails. They obviously don't stand behind their defective product.
True and accurate story:
They sent me the wrong batteries. Wouldn't discuss a return/refund until I sent them back (shipping cost to me). Once they received the batteries back, they decided they wouldn't take them back under any circumstance. Furthermore, if I wanted the batteries back (of course I did) I had to pay for shipping again. I began to file a complaint with BBB and NJ Department of Consumer Affairs but gave them an opportunity to do right by me prior to me filing the complaints. I haven't heard from them since after several phone calls, emails and messages. As of today, they have $133 of my money and the product I paid for.
I saved a couple dollars ordering direct rather than using Amazon and I won't make this mistake again. My package was supposed to go out on 10/18. I even received an email saying it was shipped. I checked a week later via the USPS site and the tracking number they gave me and USPS was still waiting for the package. I emailed that day and it magically was shipped an hour after my email. I called and they said it was USPS's mistake because they called it in and it was never picked up. If I wouldn't have followed up, who knows if I would have ever received it. Again, just use Amazon... Don't order here!
My first order didn't arrive the day that I was notified that it would. After notifying the company the next day about they checked into it and found that it had been lost in transit. They gave me the option of refunding by money or reshipping my order. I chose to have it reshipped and got 2 days later.
Battery clerk's president promises out standing customer service. I returned a order that was not even looked at for a week.On two occasions I was promised they would look into my return. The second time I requested a status report they promised to call me back by the end of the day. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK.
If this is outstanding customer service, I would hate to see poor customer service.
Answer: The order confirmation and payment receipt went to my provided email. To track the order, I had to install the free app "Shop." Then I was able to follow it from order processing to delivery. I also needed to call Customer Service regarding an issue, and the CS rep pulled up my order, immediately. (I did have my order # from my email confirmation).
Answer: No customer service it is a generic respond customer service is a joke
