This is company is a scam. The clients do not hire, and their customer support is rude and unprepared.
I bought 85 dollars in credit and I was not satisfied with the service.
They not only did not refund me but they closed my account.
I am very frustrated with this app.

Put a request on here on Saturday evening had a reply within the hour, arranged for a meeting the next day at 1 in the afternoon. Arrived and negotiated a price (practising social distancing) work started that afternoon.

Do NOT use bark.com
Do NOT use bark.com. Full of spams and cold leads. Rude call centre team gave different information each time I called. They say they monitor leads carefully yet for months false leads containing trojans have been posted and still continue today. I am self employed and have wasted £2000 on this site in the hope a lead would come to fruition. Not one.

All leads are screened by an automated system, and we have a credit return policy which covers any contact details which are not working. We feel this is the fairest system we can have as we are not a commission based system that guarantees work, and only provide contact details for enquiries placed with us.

Our Customer Success Team works hard to provide professionals with the support they require, but they must work within the policies of the company.

IMO ITS A SCAM!
I dont think the 'leads' are genuine!
The 'money back' guarantee is a lie, they only give you credit to waste more time responding to so called potential clients that never ever respond!

As we are an open public platfrom, all our leads go through a computerised screening system, however if there are any issues with incorrect information having been placed in the request we are able to return the credits for it so long as it is reported within a 2 week period.

We do not offer money back guarantees - the guarantee on our starter packs is for the credits returned of you are not hired using it. Please email us at team@bark.com if you would like further information about this.

We appreciate that is frustrating when customers don't reply, and whilst we do our best to prompt customers about responses from professionals, there is only so much was can do as a pay as you go introduction service. The team were very professional, polite friendly and helpful.
They even took away branches that were taken off prior to them coming to take the tree away. Very reasonable cost excellent service and would recommend.

The site Skillpages put me on blast when in fact I am a mother of several children and a hidding victim of DV. Skillpages put all my information online and I did not open any account with them and there is not way for me to reach them to have my profile removed. This is the evil and devils work of who ever is responsible for such a thing. Someone needs to go to jail for violating our rights to privacy like this and further victimizing me and my family. This site made contact with people on my list but I never opened an account with them I do have a relative Paula Jones who has victimized our family as well and I suggest she is responsible for all of this.

The 3 leads that I was able to reach out to were unresponsive. When asked to receive more contacts, I was given a free contact yet was not told it would expire. When I called about this issue I was told nothing could be done.

Convenient and Effective

Good experience

Fast and efficient. I gave my requirements and within an hour I had two applicants.
Bark also had a detailed history and CV of both candidates. I have since engaged both as contract cleaners, one for home and one for work. I am pleased with both and I would have no hesitation in recommending Bark.

I wanted to clean the whole back garden and put fences on. I advertised my job on Bark.com and within couple of mins David (the great guy) phoned me and in the next 15 mins, he came to look at the job. And amazingly within 3 days the whole job is done to the highest level of perfection. Very good man with a strong team. I would definitely recommend the website and it's professionals as well. 10 out of 10 to David and his great team.

This a sham

This companies leads are BOGUS! Don't waste your time or money. They reply with robotic responses when you need help. They don't take users suggestions into consideration. Forget about attempting to make a profit here the leads want to pay $10/ hour for $4 hours of work that's normally charged at minimum rate of $250. Support system is trash alongside their leads. BEWARE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Excellent service
December 8, 2020

Patrick from Righttrade roofing & building was excellent from the beginning he found out what I was looking for and gave me a fare price price for cleaning & clearing my gutters. He came on time & did a brilliant job even did the porch way guttering which I hadn't mentioned & fixed 2 areas of guttering at no extra cost, cleaned & took everything away. Would definitely recommend

Cold Leads
September 14, 2022

Hi all I am new to bark and spent money on leads. I am at times the first person to reply BUT no clients answer the phone, reply to voicemails, texts or emails?

I have had replies on some BUT no replys have happened a few times and really eats away at your credits, which are roughly is 10£ a reply_ it is throwing money up the wall. Why would clients put out for jobs, you reply within the hour and nobody answers any communication?

I have since thought, maybe I was beaten to it? But I was the 1st to reply and after reading reviews on here, I am not the only person in this position.

Be careful, read the reviews before buying credits. I have also contacted the team at bark. I believe something should be in place that if no-body answer you get credited back after so many days as 5 tradesman could be doing this getting no reply, especially in the current crisis climate

Absolute rubbish leads, not even legit, cost a forturne. I asked to be removed after my second automatic top up which was expensive and I never gave them the right to take that money. I then quit the site noting its a total scam, asked for my money back for the second top up and they refused to refund me, that was a lot of money to lose. Do not get sucked in.

Oliver Reed removed a double bed from upstairs and took a single bed from downstairs and erected it upstairs. He was on time and did the job efficiently. He cleared up and all was left very good. I will have him again and highly recommend him
