I have spent nearly $2k with Bark over the last 2 months. Nearly every lead provided is completely fake. Rarely a response to email, multiple phone calls or their internal messaging system. Disconnected phone numbers, hang ups, etc. On the rare occasion that someone does answer their phone, they have no clue what I am talking about, say they are not ready yet or they hired someone long ago. Approximately 80 leads purchased and I have about 5 legitimate leads - 2 were free. Even the legitimate ones are reluctant to spend ANY $$. I am hoping to close just one or two of these leads so I can come close to breaking even. Not very optimistic. I found a way to use Bark for free recently. Far less volume but... It's FREE! They can keep my 97 credits remaining, I am done shoveling my money to them.

We do not charge commission and so do not take any earnings from you, nor do we take any earnings from repeat business you may win.

Great job

Had my entire house cleaned after having a new bathroom and also work done in the kitchen. The house was a mess! But after an evenings cleaning for a very reasonable price the house is looking as good as it's ever done. Highly recommended.

The leads do not exist. The clients do not exist. The contact details do no exist. All you professionals out there do not waste your hard earned money. There is also another similar site called Bidvine using the same scam!

On the consumer side, my elderly Mother used Bark to find someone to landscape her garden. They took a £250 deposit and disappeared. The best thing to do is use people who have worked for someone you know rather than these job sites.

Ridiculous
July 28, 2020

I am getting the most ridiculous requests for our company's services. All through lockdown we are being asked for DJs, Magicians and acrobats to come to kids parties for 1 or 2 hours. Yes we are an entertainments company but never in all the years of working are we asked for such random services, especially in the Covid situation.
It definitely makes me think they have a computer sending regular fake requests to clients.
As soon as I see Bark in my inbox it's now immediately deleted

We are sorry to see that the leads we have sent you weren't of interest, we did reach out to you to stop anything further being sent to you but we did not get a response.

We reach out to new businesses when we receive requests for certain sectors or in certain locations that we may not have many professionals to currently fulfil. We offer a first lead for free for our service, however if the business is not interested, they can always click the unsubscribe button at any time to stop emails being received.

Our marketing team finds email addresses for businesses from their websites, and this is information that is in the public domain.

Pups are love

Got Hacked

I replied to a quotation request and the customer? Sent over a plan of works once you opened it, it asked you to sign in to you your email account to access the document! This i unfortunately did then the document doesn't open and they have now got my details.
BARK should make sure that all there leads are viable and not put companies at risk with these type of false adverts.
I would infact say they are breaking the law and they sould be held accountable for the dater breach.

Horrible company

Do not get involved with bark to try to get clients. They immediately put you into auto pay and charge you way more than you agreed to I had no idea when I signed up there was no clear indication that I would be in some kind of continual auto pay for every lead I looked at now I'm fighting them on charges I did not agree to

We paid for the initial credits. None of the leads turned into any legitimate opportunities. When advertising a money back guarantee, what is not explained is that you will receive credits returned to you not your charge. You also have to wait 7 days to file any refund request. You will also instantly be charged a greater amount than initially paid when you use your credits. This charge will occur without your authorization and will not be refunded.

The company is located overseas. When you phone the company, your phone service provider will charge you for the call. No dispute opportunities are offered. You will be told no monetary refunds are given. They will give you a refund in the form of useless credits.

Very unprofessional. This is a scam.

Good setup

Needed to find an engineer within the area to supply and install Air Conditioning. The site provided contacts for me and as such iwas able to get together a couple of quotes and have scheduled the work based on this site. Very pleased overall

Bark scam website

This website has faked people; they get contact numbers of people who never ask for any services, but they use their contact to let people who provide the service pay money for buying credit; with my experience, after I purchased the credit and started to call the people who should they post to ask for my service over ten people I called and all of them between no answer or they didn't need any service bark website steal my money and refuse to refund it also the customer service person of them very rude

I have to disagree with there comments, Bark has given us leads in the lower mainland we will use Bark.com in the future.

We were looking for fencers to come and replace panels in my Father's fence, some of which had blown down. We put the details up on Bark and within 3 days we had arranged 3 quotes.
The contractors submitted their estimates and we selected one.

They don't verify the leads before asking you to pay for it. They will not refund credits if the phone number they provide rings, even if no one will ever answer.
Many of the leads don't answer al all. So you really gambling by using Bark.

We need to know budget and when they wanna start their project. It's not fair to waste points on someone who wants to start tomorrow or doesn't have money. We have 9 credits left now and they want us to buy more credits. We have not received one job. Waste of time and money! Buyer beware!

I had a serious problem with him after he brushed aside my request that he should remedy work which totally failed to achieve its main purpose; Bark listened to my account of my dissatisfaction and published it

I had a plasterer from your site I had him twice before so trusted him the third time he asked me to transfer 170 pounds for materials and never done the job or refunded my money. Beware of this man and never give or transfer money to him.
