Only reason I purchased the minimum 100 credits was to answer just one lead. Turned out the lead was not even a lead, totally unqualified. After 5 months of being on their platform, I got just one unqualified lead. I wanted to get a refund, they said it's not in their policy, despite their guarantee of at least one job from the purchased credits. I got more leads from Google and Alignable.com which both are free services. Stay absolutely away from bark.com! You are better off spending your money elsewhere.
Looking for structural engineers for a build project. Only had two responses but never heard back from one after their initial clarification. That said, Sam Reiffer from Rief.co.uk was helpful with our request and quick with is response and quote. The job was completed as required and would certainly use him again.

I was hopeful Bark would be a legit way to get leads for my Hypnotherapy services. WRONG! I purchased the promotional credit package of 30 credits fo around $35. I sent approx 10 quotes. I did not have even 1 person respond. A nice "No Thanks" or " Not interested " would be nice. Once you spend credits and send your info to the prospective client, you are supposed to receive all of their contact info. That didn't happen either. I did receive their name and town, which I searched Facebook for. Not one of them had a facebook profile. Go Figure! Needless to say, the contacts are either bogus or other business professionals trolling their competition.
My BEST form of advertiding is still my website SEO and Google. - Nuf said!

Good for customers but not for your business! Sell lead to 5 companies and even if you first to buy you still dont get a response from customer as they usually have three quotes n discard the rest, try mybuilder where you express interest and only pay if you are one of three chosen by customer! Bark is 75% unresponsuve leads and a waste of time and money with wrong so called verified numbers and landline numbers that ring morning afternoon n night with no answer! Joke of a site

Within 12 hours I had many companies contact me. I went with Greenteam. It was a huge job. Very efficient. Great price.
******Have to edit this review, the trees had started to grow back within a couple of weeks. It wasn't long before it was like a forest again. Roots were all left and for someone that is on invalidity and has to save very hard to get work like this done, I am very disappointed. Trees and bushes that were cut down were not taken away in full. In fact there is still a pile behind my wall in a public green area. I haven't been able to access that part of my garden at all.

Poor leads! Was told if I didn't book I'd get a refund. Called a representative to let them know if like my money back bc I didn't book anything. They told me I would get nothing back. They get your money promising good leads and job bookings but literally deliver ZERO! Don't waste your money. Better off spending it on advertising on social media platforms like Facebook.

If you're looking for people who are REALLY interested in what they're asking for regarding services, Bark.com isn't the place to be. They make money off of charging you to access information from people who have slightly expressed interest in a service, but they're not really ready to buy. For marketing, as an example, 90% of the leads are looking for social media services and are 1-man-band-companies looking for someone to just "do the things" at most likely dirt-level prices. Business owners who aren't in consumer services (i.e. HVAC, plumbing, photography, etc...) shouldn't bother with this site.

Bark.com are thieves - they offer you a sample to get your card details then start helping themselves to your money. Does anyone know how to get your money back when this happens any advice on this would be appreciated

Bark. Com' is a easy to use website.
Their customer service team is reactive.
However, the quality of their service is very poor. Leads are not well qualify before to be send. The customer service advise to contact the prospect as soon as we receive the lead. Unfortunately, one person over 10 will say that they were looking for the service. The 9 others said they were playing on the website, other will say they didn't made an enquiry other just hung up the phone when I said that I received their enquiry through Bark.com.
It is chocking to pay £36 (ex VAT- £43 VAT inc) for 5 leads and have 0 client.
They really need to qualify their leads as the money we invest in doesn't ruin from the sky!

Fake numbers from so called potential customers fake leads posted. Scammed my money but luckily I got one lead that followed through to get the money back - waste of time.

The customer service at Bark.com is absolutely unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. I had issue with two leads i purchase from them. I was asking questions regarding the the leads in case they weren't able to reach the customer and I was cursed out by the employee. As a website designer, I was invited into Bark.com and hope get a job from your website.
But I tried to make some leads, I don't think all customer are real customers from bark.com.
1. If I made a lead, not any response from customers. Even after some days, the response status are still pending. (Customer not any response at all)
2. I ever call some customers, but they don't know bark.com at all. Some customers told me they had hired someone already.
So i think bark.com published some fake leads. Don't waste your time and money on it.

I have been with Bark since January and have purchased the lead pack and got the free one when I didn't get any orders. So far I have purchased around 30 leads and out of that maybe 7 or 8 asked for a quote. Only 2 were serious enough to get payment started, but ended up ghosting me and withdrawing there lead from Bark.
I wouldn't recommend investing very much in the Bark system. Wasted time and money on them.

I work as a photographer, spent a few hundred dollars on their credits. Their leads are never responding, they don't have the necessary categories and when speaking with support they are automatically on the defensive.

Answer: Bark may or may not be legit, but their barks are very often bogus tire kickers or scammers. They've got a lot of work to do to clean up their act. They need to go straight membership and those needing the work done need to PAY to speak to a professional instead of the professional paying to speak to the bogus tire kicker.
Answer: Your reviews are high on Trustpilot because they remove all the negative reviews from their profile. Bark.com removed my review twice. Trustpilot is the only review website that allows businesses to remove reviews for a price. Trustpilot got criticized in several news articles for being easily manipulated of their 'Reviews' for $600 any business profile can push up or down review they want. Look up 'Trustpilot news articles'; they say 'Trustpilot reviews are just paid advertising'
Answer: I don't think so. They signed me up and sent me a free "lead" I never got a reply to. And then I paid for one credits lead and that didn't get a reply. I then noticed both emails where from the UK. I am a plumber in Canada, but the lead specifically said it was for work in my hometown. Refund policy in place but didn't refund the credits. Not even credited to my account. They also automatically have all my reviews from Yelp, HomeStars etc. that they scraped and posted on their website.

Answer: Very true. Misleading leads. No lead vetting. Just Bark saying leads have been verified. But how do we know when no lead responds. They seem fake to me. Bad experience and worst leading platform.

Answer: The 1 star reviews are real. All the other 5 stars are not. This website preys on desperate businesses that require work and signs them up with a cost. First, they searched deep on the internet as my business has NEVER heard of them before their Spam-my email. They send an email stating that I have a lead on their website that I NEVER signed up on. Then ask for money to see who this lead is. To keep their site running, they say to people who are looking for particular businesses that they have them when they don't.
Answer: £1.20 per credit for a starter pack, then £1.50 after that and unqualified leads with next to no information cost between 10 and 18 credits. 10 leads will cost over £200 and doubtful will generate any work
Answer: It's because the positive customer reviews are almost certainly fake. Look at the dates. Look at the volume of reviews. Approximately 100 positive customer reviews of Bark have appeared on Sitejabber between early December 2019 and today (late January 2020). Compared to the number of reviews they received prior to December 2019, that is just an astounding number of reviews. This is not normal.
