This is fake jobs company, with fake reviews, is a bunch of Indians who review themselves, bought credits, send messages notneven a Hello, so they create themselves the jobs most probably, a customer who wants a quote reply to all participants who purchase the jobs to give him a quote otherwise why should create the job, but because is fake you got no answers so you spend credits for no answers. Avoid, avoid, better google ads. They also refuse a refund even if no jobs has been taken and credits remaining, will report them to scam and authorities.
Easy to use Bark lived that you get to see profiles before you ask for quotes. I used Kevva cleaning and Kevin was lovely, good price and did excellent job of clearing gutters and the blocked downpipe. Even sent photos of before and after Would definitely use again.

I'm an IT service provider and was surprised to find that somehow I'd been signed up to Bark. I certainly didn't sign up for Bark, but then, I don't say no to work. What did surprise me more than anything else is on the lots of leads that I have been sent looked like they were created by the same person or template. So from a 50 mile radius I had the same laptop with the same fault with the same wording. Looked more than fishy. Needless to say I just tried the "free" introduction and didn't hear anything back. If it is genuine, the service is too expensive. The reviews on here say it all, might not be too bad if you are looking for someone, but certainly not for people supplying a service and I personally wouldn't get a service on here as i'd rather do a trust a trader or someone I know than risk a company just pumping money in to buy work.

I signed a bark and bought $200 in credit, I didn't get a single customer, those who showed up were scammers, and others were unemployed people looking for work... I went in there to get more customers and didn't get any. I sent several emails and they never responded. Very bad customer service and they don't solve anything

Driver called to say he was going to be late. There were 10 of us ready and waiting. When he arrived he could not have been more professional or friendly. He took pics for us, his driving was perfect. The limo was spotless. He dropped us at the restaurant and was outside the door when we walked out. Going through the Gift of Lights, he drove the perfect speed. We had two children, 16 months and 7 years, who jabbered and ooooooed the entire length of the GoL. He kept the temp comfortable, kept water, soda and champagne chilled and accessible. He even had water at room temp in case someone did not want it cold. Everyone enjoyed the experience. It was a first limo experience for a few, and it did not disappoint. Thank you, AJ! I highly recommend and would use again!

Credits cost a lot, and you do not only use credits for replies, you use them to contact leads for work etc. The credits go so quickly, and no one rarely replies, we have 55 leads, contacted 12 and had 1 who didn't want to pay fuel charges due to distance. You have to put a lot in, to get little out.

Mixed feelings with our experience, 2 replies from Landscapers, one didnt turn up to give a quote and when we contacted them we were told 'oh an urgent job came up we will come tomorrow' - no thanks as they didnt let us know they werent coming so that gives you the impression of what they would be like on the actual job. Our second response has so far been good, but time will tell.

The lead preferences and questions they ask potential customers resulted in VERY poor (in fact zero) leads for my business. It is inflexible from a sellers point of view. I tried for a bit and then requested my money back (you have to pay $400 upfront). They refuse to refund me insisting instead that I get credits. I can't use their system, they appear to have no cooling off period and just shut down the email correspondance sying "We can not help you further". Great!

This was the first time I contacted The Bark team with a request to change an extractor fan! Tamas Korompai came as soon as he was free today, he covered his shoes before entering and he removed the faulty extractor fan. He went ahead and purchased another locally, he installed it with a smile and now we have a new kitchen with a functioning extractor, light, fan and all! Tried to get local cleaning companies to do an inter-tenancy clean. They either said they'd call me back (& didn't) or just weren't interested (despite advertising as such!). Felt that I was going with my begging bowl! Completely different experience with Bark com. Storm Ciara demolished the whole of my back fences, exposing the garden from the road, including the oil tank and the rear bedrooms. Within an hour I had been contacted by two good fencing firms, one of which came later that Sunday and gave me an estimate to renew the fencing as I want. The other arrived a day later but didn't send the estimate until the following Friday. As the work was urgent and both firms appeared good and professional, I gave the work to the first one (who were also a bit cheaper) as they appeared more keen to get on with it. They start tomorrow.

Answer: Bark may or may not be legit, but their barks are very often bogus tire kickers or scammers. They've got a lot of work to do to clean up their act. They need to go straight membership and those needing the work done need to PAY to speak to a professional instead of the professional paying to speak to the bogus tire kicker.
Answer: Your reviews are high on Trustpilot because they remove all the negative reviews from their profile. Bark.com removed my review twice. Trustpilot is the only review website that allows businesses to remove reviews for a price. Trustpilot got criticized in several news articles for being easily manipulated of their 'Reviews' for $600 any business profile can push up or down review they want. Look up 'Trustpilot news articles'; they say 'Trustpilot reviews are just paid advertising'
Answer: I don't think so. They signed me up and sent me a free "lead" I never got a reply to. And then I paid for one credits lead and that didn't get a reply. I then noticed both emails where from the UK. I am a plumber in Canada, but the lead specifically said it was for work in my hometown. Refund policy in place but didn't refund the credits. Not even credited to my account. They also automatically have all my reviews from Yelp, HomeStars etc. that they scraped and posted on their website.

Answer: Bark don't verify whether any of the customer tel numbers actually work and most of the leads are poor quality so they won't answer anyway. Save your money, honestly.
Answer: Very true. Misleading leads. No lead vetting. Just Bark saying leads have been verified. But how do we know when no lead responds. They seem fake to me. Bad experience and worst leading platform.
Answer: Bad lead quality, stay away. Zero customer service. On the phone they will tell you that you are wasting their time.
Answer: The 1 star reviews are real. All the other 5 stars are not. This website preys on desperate businesses that require work and signs them up with a cost. First, they searched deep on the internet as my business has NEVER heard of them before their Spam-my email. They send an email stating that I have a lead on their website that I NEVER signed up on. Then ask for money to see who this lead is. To keep their site running, they say to people who are looking for particular businesses that they have them when they don't.
Answer: £1.20 per credit for a starter pack, then £1.50 after that and unqualified leads with next to no information cost between 10 and 18 credits. 10 leads will cost over £200 and doubtful will generate any work
Answer: It's because the positive customer reviews are almost certainly fake. Look at the dates. Look at the volume of reviews. Approximately 100 positive customer reviews of Bark have appeared on Sitejabber between early December 2019 and today (late January 2020). Compared to the number of reviews they received prior to December 2019, that is just an astounding number of reviews. This is not normal.
