I used these clowns - they get paid by the people on their site and that is all they are interested in. They phoned to ask if I had placed the job I said I had and that I had been charged £750 for 4 hours labouring work they said oh ok we'll mark it as job done then. Please be aware and steer clear it will be pure luck if you get s good job done they obviously couldn't care less about how the people on their site conduct themselves you might as well put a pin in the phone book and choose

I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Bark. I've been using it for several months and when I didn't get a client from my initial purchase of credits, they honored their promise to return the credits to me.
Since then I have gotten business from Bark and anticipate more.
Finally, I would be remiss not to mention that when I reached a "fake" number through Bark I called and in and talked to Harry. He returned the credits to me and was super helpful in general! Would recommend.

Service was just a scam. Did not build the website in 7 pages as placed as 7 pages but only had 3 pages with other people faces and not what I asked. No payment options. Please you can get a website for $80 or less for $900 stink job they did. Booooooo

I stumbled upon Bark while online searching for decorators. Within 24 hours of using Bark I had several very promising contacts and have now arranged visits from 3 people to quote for the work. Other services like Checkatrade have the disadvantage that the people you contact are not always interested in your project and you can waste time as people either tell you they are too busy, your project is not their thing, or don't bother to get back to you at all. The beauty of Bark is that only people who actually want your business contact you.

Shane Rozario is a real plus for this website and business. Posted a job for some shoot to be done and Shane moved heaven and earth to be prompt and got the job done. The guy is a natural!.
Th shoot session was a great experience, thoroughly enjoyed working with this professional who is a natural and gifted in what he does. The location selection was awesome. The job was completed on time with minimum fuss and I am completely happy with the work.
It would be a pleasure to recommend Shane to my friends and family. Will definitely use him again.

They close your post after a week, and refuse to alter it, nor do they tell you this when you post it. Hardly any of the companies ever get back to you, and most only want big jobs so wont take on any small jobs. Don't bother - just go on google, or find a handy man, or gardeners in your area.
The site isnt worth the hassle!

Worst service, fraud

They took the money for providing interiors leads and all contacts are fake...no response from the client, in the beginning they tell you that they will refund the credit but once we take the plan, no response or refund...fraud people, fake contacts...don't take service from them

Beware Bark GDPR breach
December 11, 2020

Bark allows any one with a free email address and a burner mobile phone to buy your details. They refer to their "professionals" but do not vet them, they do not require proof of insurance, a company number, vat registration or even an address. They neglect to tell you any of this until you fall foul to a fraudster.

The selling of your data to a non vetted buyer breaches GDPR and I am taking them to Trading Standards.

I am a staging and design company. A separate design company, who is a competitor, used bark.com to reach out to me directly for a "quote" of residential interior design services. I sent them 2 emails for the opportunity to respond. I got none and went to Bark.com for a refund as the lead was clearly not legimate, but a competitor looking for intel... otherwise why not respond with "we were shopping comparison info for a client"... my prices are online so I would just direct them there of course. Instead they closed the lead exactly 15 mins after my email.

The Bark.com had the nerve to say they don't see it... with photos attached to the emails. SCAM!
How Bark.com works:

You spend them on leads
You then get the leads contact details.

HORRIBLE

As a business owner and professional in my industry for 20 years and over 30 years of entrepreneurship experience, this company is the worst of the worst. Do not spend your money here! These leads are not legitimate. You're better off cold calling out of the phone book. I asked if I could have a refund for the credits I have not used and the Brit would not listen to me. Would not provide a refund and was rude. I asked to speak to a manager and she refused to help me. This company disgusts me and should not be allowed to operate in the United States! They take advantage of small business owners and should be shut down!

Don't loose your money
September 14, 2022

Bark is application where supposedly helping you to get Clients. My experience with Bark is bad, you have to buy ""leads" and them send to you a hundreds of names supposedly people need the service, which I have doubt if it is true Cause in certain occasions people send me a message to Stop sending a message (just one message). And people never call you or send a answer cause they just one a cheaper prices.
That's what I say don't loose your money and other point is they took a money from my card for leads I didn't buy.

DO NOT USE Bark.
Bark is a scam for providers. Simple.
Bark, mis-sells bids, and sells sold bids.
My bet is that bids can be sold dozens of times over! Someone should investigate this!

Anyone seeking providers on this site is essentially bait for providers to pour money into Bark.
The cost to unwitting bidding providers FAR OUTWEIGHS any benefit.

The ombudsman should sort this mess out and compensate all the mis-sold bids.

Waste of time and money
January 13, 2020

I have spent (wasted) £165 on credits without any success of winning any work. I have been a successful freelancer on another platform for many years. I feel the leads Bark provide are either non existent or time wasters who are not aware of the cost to us freelancers just to get their contact details. Bark have no support system in place, or do they contact Buyers as a follow up for the freelancer who has spent time and money to get their contact details. I wouldn't recommend Bark to anyone who is selling a service particularly in the design/web industry!

Overpriced... I have never obtained any work from the jobs that I've paid to get the customers contact details from. Every time I have, it costs me 25 credits, which is the equivalent to just over £20.00!

Was happy with Bark in terms of website and clearly laid out. Was impressed how quickly they found a number of professionals who could cut my tree down. Was then contacted by one who then was able to cut my tree down. This happened within two days of registering with Bark. Excellent website and service. Will be happy to use them again in future.

Unfortunately, bark.com has no complaint procedure or escalation system in place when you are unhappy with the service they provide. I spoke to one of the customer success team and was unhappy with there response so asked to speak to a manager, after being fobbed off, the best they could do is direct me to *******@bark.com and ask me to mark FAO a manager. I sent this email on the 26th of June and followed this with a review on Trustpilot. Strangely they responded with a generic response on Trustpilot but I am still awaiting a response. I have even emailed the MD directly and still awaiting any form of acknowledgment. I have tried phoning and they just say it is being dealt with by a manager but I cannot be passed through to them. Extremely poor service.
