Came on to search for councilling services, I was given lots of options and found exactly who we were looking for. Contact was easy and clear, I only wish there had been an "accept offer" button rather than "close" as it took me a while to figure out how to complete my process. Anyway, 10/10 would recommend!

Kitchen update
February 3, 2021

I love my new kitchen update and would recommend this company 100%
Bob was great he sorted the measurements and order and helped me with ideas and Malcolm the fitter did a brilliant job and had the patience of a saint!
It was the first quote I had as the price and materials I was shown were perfect for me.
It took a couple more days to complete than was stated, but considering the weather and COVID situation that was to be expected.
Malcolm arrived on time every morning and stayed until he had achieved what he wanted done that day, he was polite and courteous at all times.
Every scrap of the old kitchen and rubbish was taken away at the end of the job!

They breached their agreement by not offering proper contact details for the lead. I paid for business contacts, yet most leads have personal emails and if you do reach out via phone or email, its crickets. They refused to refund my money although I received ZERO services in return. Stay as far away as possible. I'm also reporting them to the BBB and any other review site possible to ensure they don't deceive others by their business practices.

It is great!

If you cant afford £300.00 on leads, then you probably are a very small business and shouldn't be using anything other than cold calling or rely in word of mouth.
It works if you know how to use it. I have had 8 leads convert into £4000. 00 recurring monthly revenue.It has it's flaws, as does any form of lead generating but you need to be selective and patient.

We have a range of pack sizes available, so for some industries, it may be £300 to get started, but for others, it will be much cheaper. We generally sell a package of c. 10 responses, based on the categories chosen at signup so new users can get a feel for the platform.

Scam, Scam, Scam

I have tried Bark.com and have been left disappointed and out of pocket. I had a technical difficulty with my account at Bark.com and have had the unfortunate experience of having to communicate with Ms Kim at Bark.Com, she was extremely rude to me. Extremely aggressive behaviour, does not listen and talks over the top of you the whole time. When I asked a question from her, she just kept saying that she is unable to assist and I should refer to their website for more information and hung up the phone. I would never deal with this agency.

YES it's a scam

Paid for a load of credits. Noticed we weren't getting any replies, then did some more research to find that the Numbers/email address' weren't even valid.

Seems that either leads are not verified or worse they are being made up. Not sure which.

We got the "opportunity" to try whether their system works for us offering a cleaning service.
So they let someone contacting us and we responded. The person needed a clean in a couple of days. But that's where it ended because we should've paid to continue. I mean, what? Actually, we couldn't see whether or not this thing works.
Of course, they would justify everything in an overbearing tone. Screw these morons. Avoid. You've been warned.

Bark was recommended to me by a friend who had used the system with some success. My experience was completely different.

The leads aren't actually potential quality customers looking for my services they are all people just thinking about it and I'm paying for it. I spent quite a bit of money with bark And never got a single contract. As a start up business I could've put that money to better use. Bark did call me and tried to sell me another package which guaranteed me leads but After spending £250 and receiving nothing I won't be using them again.

Scam
March 28, 2020

About 20 supposedly genuine leads are posted every day in my industry, about 1 in 10 I believe are actual real people.

The locations and dial codes don't even match up half the time, the names are random and when you try to call them it's rare anyone answers, I know other traders whove had the same experience, can't believe they're allowed to get away with it.

If you're a genuine trader looking to increase business avoid these, they take your money and you get fake leads.

Very impressed
November 8, 2020

Professional, polite, punctual and personable! Very pleasant change as I'm disabled and a woman so an awful lot workmen add another £100 to their bill :( He fitted and mended a huge amount of things and if I hadn't got the right stuff he drove me to get them. Would highly recommend him without a second's thought.

... You can't remove your credit card info unless you call in. Shady business tactics. They did give me a refund when I called in after they charged me an extra $107 due to their "auto top up" option set to On automatically. Perfect site for /r/$#*!design

When purchasing packs of credits there is a tick box visible under Buy Now that allows you to turn off our Auto Top Up function on purchase. You can also turn this off/on in the My Credits section of the account at any time.

This is a scam

Awful patronising customer services. All leads I bought are fake. They offer a get hired guarantee but never give you your money back. The get hired guarantee only lasts once and if none of their leads answer the call that's it you are stuffed. Lost loads of money. They even admit that their leads are old/bogus but that doesn't seem to bother them. Please please please don't use this service.

The only response I got was that "we have been around for 6 years so it can't be that bad" - Lots of scam artist have a long career. This is one of the best scams I've seen in a long while. I'm sure they will still be scamming 6 years from now.

Very Disappointing

Has the potential to be a great service for traders. However greed on Bark's side not vetting leads means 99% of the time jobs are fake or lead to nothing.

Will be expensive, if only they proper worked with traders but they have made their position clear and will continue to rip off traders.

Don't use! Unverified leads at your expense!

Policing leads can be very difficult due to the sheer volume of leads we receive, so we do rely on a system to vet them. Unfortunately, this isn't flawless some leads do slip through the cracks, our team is always on hand to talk through issues with leads and in rare situations where the information provided by the customers is incorrect, we have you covered and will issue credits back inline with our policy.

It can certainly be frustrating when customers don't choose you to carry out the work or alternatively don't respond to you and this does happen from time to time as you are competing with others. Our job as a lead generation platform is to provide you with the means to contact the customers but ultimately the customers are in control of who they engage with or hire. Our team do have some great tips to help though and are there to help, so certainly use them. After all, we want you to succeed, so you continue to use us.

James & his team from 'York style home improvement' replaced a total of 11 fence panels.

Good price & super quick, despite some tricky bits like the tree roots & the ivy.

About the only issue was communications, there was delay while some of the panels were pressure treated, over a weekend, so we weren't sure what was happening, but then they turned mid-afternoon on Monday & 4 hours later, job done.

Spammers for Scammers

The minute I opened my business and hung up my digital shingle, I started getting messages from Bark.com. I never signed up, and Gmail (appropriately) filtered the messages as spam right from the get-go. I'm not foolish enough to move forward and pay actual money for the chance someone might want to use my services. There are far better ways to drive traffic and sales. Stay far, far away.
