Many poor quality leads.

I've just read several reviews calling Bark a scam. It isn't. The leads I have followed up have been genuine, although many were from time wasters. I use other agencies and this isn't unusual. There are time wasters everywhere. You can't blame Bark for that. Their screening process won't pick that up. I have communicated with leads, even met some of them, so I know they are genuine, just selfish. I have been hired by a few, but some have foundered and are on hold. I've probably broken even so far in terms of my spending and earning but I m not quite ready to buy more credits. I also did have some credits refunded when an address given with a lead was incorrect. A member of Bark staff did this without question. So I probably will persevere with Bark, but with caution.

Someone got in touch with me almost immediately. He was on time, polite, efficient and reasonably priced.
I can't remember the last time a job was done so promptly and well - seriously! Maybe it's a reflection of our times but I was amazed that it was all so smooth.

Gutter installation

Very quick response to my enquiry with the work arranged at a time to suit me.
I informed Bark that I had secured a company and they quickly arranged to close my enquiry to other companies.
The workmen were helpful, discussed, explained what they would do, no mess was left when the job was completed. I felt confident in using them as I had found them through this site.

Never too late to start
January 14, 2020

My first session with Gregor and I was a little nervous, not having done any serious exercise for quite a while. However it is never too late to start again, if you can find a personal trainer you can relate to.
My session was good, showed up my weaknesses! It was fun and we managed a few laughs along the way. Today I know I have done something more than usual, a good feeling.
Here's to the next session.

Never approach this site to hire any contractor, if you do you will be disappointed. I hired a contractor thru them and the contractor neither finished the job nor responded to my communications! I don't know how they qualify the contractors but what I believe is there are poor qualification procedures...
If you want to hire or find any contractors, I strongly recommend trying other leads marketing companies with high standards to qualify the contractors...

Not worth it
December 10, 2020

I was looking for a dog trainer in my area. Bark sent me contact information of trainers in San Francisco CA, and other places that are no where near me. One of the recommended trainers had two videos of a German Shepherd dog in a cage being very aggressive. It appears that they don't vet the professionals they suggest. Don't use Bark.com.

Bark is benefitting from the fake ads been posted on their page from verified people. Example today 01/06/23, someone by the name of daniel posted tonnes of the same ad to all towns and cities, many responded but the ads was fake, daniels account is verified by bark. Have a look at the attached photos

I have had an excellent service from this business who kept me informed with progress including photos. Any questions and the owner was immediately contactable. The guy in the office, professional and helpful, and all the workers efficient and the work was done (replace all felt, batons, guttering, fascia) within a few days. I recommend their business.

As soon as enquiry went live for a tiler we had response within half hour by two tiling companies. We met one of them next day and they started next day. Job had to be quick turn around, we were well impressed.

After arriving here from the US, I had to go into quarantine so I hired Susan to walk my dog daily. Worried, he would not go to anyone after his 48 hours of travel, he ran to Susan with excitement.

Total scam

I perched starting package, but after I used it they start to charge my credit card without my consent. They guarantee that from first pack you will get a customer, but the quality of leads is poor. The support is awful, always hang the phone and don't want to listen. They don't want to understand what is your problem just gives you script answers.

Very dissatisfied with the company. We paid Rs. 4,500/- but not a single lead was worthwhile. When we wrote to company, they said amounts are not refundable. We strongly recommend that customers beware of this fraud company and not to pay a single penny. Don't throw your hard earned money in front of rogues!

Simply not what is being advertised and a waste of time and money. If you're lucky enough to even get a conversation, you get a grumpy person fed up with calls or someone who will waste your time.

The leads we were provided were either time wasters who did not want to spend anything. This service is sold as "potential clients waiting to speak to you" and most we spoke to were fed up with the calls they were getting through Bark. Those that didn't cancel out calls, fail to respond to emails or simply be rude to us, wanted to spend next to nothing and were of the view "I can do this myself for nothing".

Poor quality leads from the bottom of the pond.

They gave me false lead and numbers false information, when confronted with this and asked for a refund they stated they were a commission based company and its to hard to give credit back, im like im a small company and dont have the extra funds ti spend on frauds

Bark is a scam - All the leads I called were either already signed or cancelled by the poster. When I contacted Bark to take this up, they simply said the clients are entitled to sign with another consultant.

Sounds good, but small business get ripped off, they guarantee business or more credits. They refuse to refund your money if no confirmed leads. This company is global and making millions by scamming off business with no returns.

Fake adverts!
June 12, 2020

On several occasions I have used credits to apply for jobs that are posted on the app right away. Upon trying to contact the clients the line rings out with no answer. I have also tried to add the customers on What's app and not even the messages are delivered. This is happening far too often. Paying for a service to receive leads but most leads are fake.

We feel this is the fairest system we can have as we are not a commission based system that guarantees work, and only provide contact details for enquiries placed with us.

My business E&M security and event management london is registered on bark, we pay £24 odd for a professional status and still have to pay for leads. Leads emailed daily and some don't look legit. Can't respond to leads without buying an expensive credit package.
