After less than one year of wear, zipper fell apart rendering the jacket unwearable. Pretty poor plastic zipper for a jacket that sells full price of almost $300. Wrote to support and have heard nothing back, guess they don't support their product.
I could not wait for Christmas, so the guys got their early, just in time for some cold weather. This way I could use my own just as well. Two of us are on Motorcycles. The jackets work perfectly and are well made. Thank you

The Baerskin hood came before they said it would and that was good. I wear it all the time and I do not feel the wind going though the hoodie like other hoodies. It keeps me warm

The arms are too short. I bought 2 hoodies, one for me and o e for my partner. Both arms are too short. They could be a few inches longer in the back as well. They are not windproof

I love that I can depend on my hoodie to block the wind, no draft, reliable shield against the cold. And recently I was caught by an especially cold rain. And later, it didn't absorb any of the rain, the drops just rolled off. Proof positive it could keep me warm.

Hoodie is great! Warm! LOVE the pockets. Only thing I would change is the hood tighteners. Regular hoodie strings work better. Those press ones loosen almost immediately.

It's a great Hoodie - just can't decide whether to call it a jacket or a sweater! In a way I wish there was a version without the Hood. Love the many pockets!

I ordered one of these a few months before a planed trip to colder weather based on the "blocks wind" claim. We'll I can tell you the claim us a complete lie. In 43deg weather with 38deg wind chill I felt every bit of wind 5-8mph come right through, I was so cold. Save your money and buy a good coat, don't fall for the marketing like I did. I don't even want to donate this because it won't keep anyone warm.

Last night I had to work a 24 hour shift. The day started out very mild with temps at 53 degrees in the foothills. Then, the clouds rolled in and we were in the fog. It got down to 39 degrees. As the evening rolled in, the fog turned into heavy rain. All the while, I was warm and dry in my Baerskin jacket. Now if only I had Some Baerskin gloves and pants, the experience would have been perfect. I had my wife send a Baerskin jacket to my son in Germany. I have no doubt that he will be more than satisfied.

Like the jacket. Probably gonna get another one. Only thing I wasn't fond of was that the zipper was put on backwards or however women wear their stuff. Not a deal breaker, I'm not sure how they do things in China, where it was made and shipped from.
If you're in a hurry to get one or want to talk to someone about the delay in shipping, forget it. Everything is in China. Order it and wait. About the time you forget about it, it'll show up at your joint. HOPEFULLY!

Regarding where our products are shipped from, we have warehouses all around the world, and we always try to send the products from the warehouse located nearest to the you. As for the zipper, it was indeed placed in the left side in our previous version. This is because our product was designed in Europe, where zippers are usually positioned that way. However, rest assured that it's not an indication that the product you received was for women. We did move the main zipper to the right side on our new version due to public demand.
