We purchased a dining set from the Branford fl. Badcock, it looked very nice in store, but unfortunately chips very easily, the sales lady was not exactly nice either, as when we came into store she immediately told us not everyone could get credit! We paid cash and did not need their credit, and probably would have purchased more (very glad we didnt) had she not been rude
My husband picked out a stove for me last week, at the Oneonta Al location.He was offered the one on the floor, but he refused it and wanted to order one. He was told he could pick it up this past Saturday, called to see if it came in, was told No, it was not delivered said it would be this Tuesday. So he changed his mind and went to the store to just get the one off the floor, they refused to let him take it. Now it's Tuesday and the truck isn't coming due to the storms. They don't call you, you have to call them and it's one thing after another. Will never buy from this store. I've spent alot of money there but will never again. Just lost a loyal customer. They say one thing then do another
We found a recliner we liked but it was the display model that they were adamant they couldn't sell. We placed an order and paid for the chair they said would arrive at their store within a month. Close to a month later, we called to see if the chair was in. Not only was it not in, but it was going to be several more weeks. When we walked into the store, we noticed the display model was gone. Yes, they sold the display model that they said they were not allowed to sell. When we asked for a refund, they said because we paid by check, they would have to mail us a check. Of course our check had cleared weeks ago so this made no sense. I would not recommend dealing with these people. They lie and make excuses.

I bought a living room suite from farmers furniture. When I got itvhome I noticed the arm was damaged, but felt I could deal with it. W months later the back of the couch broke. I called badcock to see if they would fix it because I thought I had bought the insurance for repair or replace. They told me there was nothing they could do and that I did not purchase the insurance. I asked about a manufacturer warranty and they told Me there is none. My gf called corporate and was told there is a 1 year manufacturer warranty and we need to bring furniture back to badcock. Badcock gave me a date 2 bring furniture back then when I got there said no we can't today. I had to bring furniture back home n come back 4 days later. I brought furniture back and it was finally repaired. I am pleases with the repairs, but I don't think I should have gone through all that headache badcock staff made me go through. A few weeks later, I get my bill in the mail and see that I am paying $14.95 extra for the insurance they told me I didn't have. I will no longer do business with badcock. They were good 5 years ago, but the change in staff has made them go downhill. My gf sister had a problem with a washer also. The washer didn't work n badcock would not take the washer back on the same day it was bought.
I just left the store. I need to say that the service has been incredible. I had such a great experience with all the staff. Everybody was helpful and understanding.

I purchased a washer in May 2020 and was told by Tiffany the sale's person that there was a lifetime warranty and that I had nothing to worry about. She even started talking about the washer that she brought also. Once I received the washer I called back asking for the warranty and she told me that all I had to do was call Badcock when I needed the washer serviced because it was under my phone number at that point. I continued to ask her was she sure, and she stated to me on several occasions that all I needed to do was call Badcock and that was it. I called her on January 19th, 2022, to have my washer serviced and Tiffany told me that my warranty ended in May 2021. I reminded her that she told me that it was under a lifetime warranty, and she then said for me to call Maytag. May I remind you that I asked this person and was told it was a lifetime warranty and all I had to do was call. She's a liar, ill-bred, unprofessional fraud. I was misled by her she flat out lied just to get a sale. This isn't the first incident with her at Badcock, but it will be the last. They also have people putting reviews up as if their customers and it their family and friends!
