A cute website. I love it very much, that is a lot of fun.
While I really enjoy the website their shipping prices are beyond ridiculous! I was going to order a great organic baby wash set that was on their site today for $14.99 but the cheapest shipping was almost as much as the set itself, $11.24. I am fully aware that it doesn't cost anywhere near that to ship an item of this size. Instead of having one or two set shipping prices that don't fit the merchandise they are listing they should try offering several options. They really should take a few hints from Mama Bargains…. One of their competitors, on shipping. They have great shipping prices that start around $2.50. I guess I will stick with ordering from them since they are trying to save their customers money not rip them off in shipping. Beware!
I used to love this site! What a great idea and even based locally in my area. Word of caution, they often over sell popular items like designer diaper bags and then leave customers out to dry. Be prepared to trade customer service and the like for a "steal" of a price.
The shipping is ridiculously expensive, and many times they sell really useless stuff.
And when there s something better, it sells out in seconds, like they have 3 peaces of each items or so. Or they maybe dont have the cooler designs or prints on some items. Who knows. I dont think that it s only me who never gets to the site in time.
If you calculate the shipping into the price the whole deal is not that cheap any more.
It's a good idea with decent prices, but the shipping is overpriced, and the customer service is definitely lacking. When we tried to do an in-store pickup they couldn't find our order and ended up shipping it to us instead. If I were in their shoes I'd take a hard look at shipping policies and prices. I'll be buying from their competitors after my handful of purchasing experiences from them.
I used to think this site was ok for deals but twice I have had an issue now. The first time they oversold product & the most recent issue the company mismarketed something greatly. I know they realize what they are suggesting as a use is wrong & the product is misrepresented yet they refuse to do anything about it despite e-mailing them within their allotted time frame & a phone call to them. I think the word steal in their name is fitting because at the end of the day that is what they have done... steal.
I see these types of sites popping up all over the place. Just like Woot.com. Sort of a way of getting rid of excess inventory for stores. Good for consumers and good for the stores. Still a great idea.
