I placed an order to be delivered on the day of my fathers funeral. It was never delivered. I called and they had some excuse about the "health crisis" and "being short staffed." I tried calling the next day when again, it was not delivered, and no one takes my call. When I confirm who I am and the order, it automatically hangs up on me so I can't talk to a live person. I'll be declining the charge (over $100) with my card company.
I ordered flowers to be delivered to my brother in laws funeral. Placed my order for a beautiful arrangement to be delivered to the church a half hour prior to the service, I ordered it a week prior to funeral. We live in Washington St, they live in Alaska. The morning of the Service I received a text to contact them about the flowers. 3 hours prior I received a text, called them, they couldn't deliver it because they didn't have enough staff! I am angry. We were unable to get more delivered. Please, do not use them for your flower needs.
Paid for rush delivery and was given every excuse possible. Had to ask for refund because flowers didn't make it. Terrible service on the phone. Will never use again.
I ordered orchid for my aunt in kailua for birthday. She called me and told me how beautiful her orchid was.
The recipient (my cousins) were very happy with the arrangement...kudos to you. However, the $25 service charge should be disclosed at the beginning of the ordering process, with an explanation of what it's for. Otherwise, it just feels like padding the bill. Just my comments to improve your customer service.

I should not have to spend hours trying to send sympathy flowers to my mother. This company doesn't even deserve the 1.8 stars it has. First there's the absurd sudden service charge on your order that I had to deal with getting taken off. Then I get an email telling me the arrangement I selected is unavailable and I can pick a different one. I go in to pick a different one and they're all way $#*!tier options. It seems like a scam. I canceled my order - for the second time - and they're still saying someone from customer service will be in touch about it, when they should make cancellation the click of a button no questions asked.
What I ordered from the picture is not all what was received! I ordered a beautiful plant with multiple types and a beautiful flowering part. The plant received had no color and was even in a different shape. I do appreciate that it did arrive on time but for the cost the plant was ugly. And the basket and now were too. I don't plan on using Ava's again.
From the colors to the quality, the flowers were great. Service was also excellent. She received several comments on them.
I ordered flowers for my sister that's in the hospital una different city and I made the mistake of looking at the reviews which seems high well I was mistaken. Flowers looked nothing like it
I ordered beautiful pink and purple bouquet but received orange and green also paid $25 for handling?

A huge disappointment. I wanted all coral flowers as it was for a 35th wedding anniversary. It was mostly daisies. I could have gone to Market Basket. Not worth the $82. My sister said it was sweet, I wanted nice. I will not order here again
Ordered floral harmony bouquet which should be pink, red and purple mix of roses, carnations etc. I get an email the next day that particular bouquet is not available (what flora shop doesn't carry roses or carnations?) but they will upgrade or send something comparable. Look at the URL it states rose-and-carnation mix in the picture. I get the message that flowers are delivered, my mother says that she was delivered a few individually wrapped in gauze sunflowers. One was broken and they were from Kentucky. I immediately went to their site and tried to contact customer service through chat window. I put order number, email and phone number to start - it tells me order doesn't exist, the third time it pulls up order and shows as delivered but you then have to select the button problem with order and put all your information over and over. It says can't find order, I love how companies show all the 5 star ratings yet you cannot get a human or anything close to customer service. Stay away from this company!
They were able to get what I requested on the day I requested them delivered and the recipient loved it!
The flowers were for a very special birthday and the flowers our daughter received were no where close to what I ordered. I am very disappointed and feel the price was too high for what she received. The first pic is what she got the 2nd pic is what I ordered.
Ordered flowers at 10:30 am to be delivered by 1:00 pm to a local funeral home. Just found out about my fathers death that morning. Paid for expedited service. Flowers delivered the next day at 2:30 pm! No refund! The "Customer Service" associate took great pleasure in me getting upset the cocky little bastard. Having my CC company deal with them. These flowers were absolutely horrible! Order a beautiful arrangement for my brother-in-law's funeral. I was shocked when I saw them. They looked nothing like the picture. I paid $100 for them and expected to get what I ordered. Maybe I wouldn't have been so upset if they had sent a nice arrangement but they were awful compared to what I ordered and they wouldn't do anything about it. Would never recommend your site. Below is a picture of what I ordered. I don't have a picture of what was sent. I was too shocked and embarrassed to even think of taking a picture. They sent a basket with 3 white flowers and some green leaves. Definitely nothing like the picture.
Don't use this company! They buy gas station flowers and charge you $130 for delivery and then not on the correct date ruining the occasion!

All indictions at Avas website were that my flowers would be delivered on time and be the Asiatic Lilies I requested. Neither the flowers I requested or delievered on time was the outcome. Paid a premium price as well. Will not be using Avas again.

Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
