I will try to keep this short as there were several phone calls within 6 day time period. Mom is in the hospital and Mothers day was coming up.I was told the flowers would be delivered later that day, I called as they wernt, then they daid the next day, and so on. They were delivered on the 6th day in the evening. The night of her last hospital stay and she had nothing for Mother's Day. If you can't fulfill the order by 4 days after ordering so it gets there on time, don't take the order. I could have gone somewhere else if I wasn't strung along so they could keep the order. Never again!
I wish I would have read reviews on this site, consumer affairs, Better Business bureau, and no doubt many others about this scam business. They pop up when you're looking for a local florist but they're not local. They were sued by the state of New Jersey for a variety of offenses including no deliveries, no cancellations, no refunds, grossly under delivering, etc. Almost all of which I've experienced. They apparently specialize in taking people's money and not delivering or if delivering, the pictures of flowers actually delivered compared to what the website promises are quite striking. Luckily I never got to that point but I am still waiting for a refund after 4 days of promises by their out of country customer disservice representatives who specialize in rote apologies. I am prepared to file a fraud claim with my credit union if I don't get a refund in order to get my money back by tomorrow. The best option for ordering flowers not locally is to call a local florist and talk to someone and have them do it. It's a much safer alternative.
Pictures of what I ordered vs what was delivered...and paid $95 for it. I don't think this qualifies as "suitable substitution" so they won't get my money in the future.
I had a bouquet delivered and it was beautiful but just not what I expected. I was sent a survey and request for rating and I shared my thoughts. It was ordered through an affiliate in my erea.i wasn't expecting even a response. I got a partial refund and credit towards my next order and an apologetic letter. I am blown away and will only be ordering flowers here from now on.
They do not care about costumer and costumer service. I called and they accepted the sympathy order to get ready by 3:00-3:15 but it was not delivered until i left home at 4:30. I was late and. I left home without any flowers. I called to let them know that I didn't receive it but no one answered and it was just a mashine message. I am so disappointed. Even there was not any way to cancel the order.
Just the sales associate answers to get orders but nothing else.
This business is a scam business.
I would give a ZERO star if I could! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Embarrassing that they even deliver bouquets looking like what was sent to my mother for her birthday! Also, charged for "as shown" option and received a small. I was given a $10 refund only. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!
Terrible Company, horrible customer service. Ordered sympathy spray for my aunt's funeral on a Monday. Ava's committed to delivery to funeral home by noon on Tuesday. Flowers never arrived. Numerous inquiries through Ava's "Customer Service" portal were ignored. Multiple phone calls to Customer Service always resulted in lies about "flowers are out for delivery". When I called the day after the funeral and demanded a refund, an alternate solution they offered up was to deliver the flowers to my dead aunt's home! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS COMPANY!
I ordered flowers from their website to be delivered the same day. When choosing the delivery date they say that they may not be able to do same day, which I read and understood. They reached out a bit after I placed my order, telling me that they don't have the flowers I ordered and asked what I wanted to substitute them with. So I was pretty frustrated when they called me later the same day letting me know there was another issue they encountered. They called to tell me that they wouldn't be able to do same-day delivery and asked what I would like to do about it. I had to wait on the phone for over 30 minutes and was transferred 4 times just to learn this. And then they proceeded to remind me the flowers I ordered weren't available and asked again what I'd like to do about it. Overall, lack of organization, quality communication (both within the company and with the customer), and just frustrating to deal with.
Placed an expensive order on January 22 for a Valentine delivery to a very important person way early enough! Only to receive an email at 7:45 pm the evening before Valentines stating the order had been cancelled and money refunded! Why the night before? No time to make other arrangements! A very crappy way to do business! No excuses with an order placed that early in advance! Do not ever use this flower company and please don't make the same mistake i did READ THE REVIEWS ON THIS FLORIST!
My (new) boss lost her dear husband, I contracted with Ava's for delivery of an "appropriate" arrangement, along with a very specific condolence message. Flowers delivered - NO CARD - only because a mutual friend was aware, did my boss know of my family's concern for her. Also - 1/2 of the flowers (according to my friend) were wilted. I called customer support - they negotiated a small "refund", yet I was still left embarrassed and dissatisfied.

Ordered a $75 flower arrangement got a $10 grocery store bouquet. After 30 minutes on hold with customer service they advised they could not correct the order but would give me a $15 credit
My friend is in Boston hospital terminal. She loves sunflowers. I ordered a vase with large bouquet of JUST sunflowers. She received a small bouquet of yellow generic flowers with a couple roses. Nothing like what I ordered or the price I paid. They nickle and dime in ribbon, vase and 25.00 service charge! How can they get away with sending something that was totally cheaper and not what was ordered? Not even a phone call to say sorry we don't have what you ordered but would you be interested in something else for less money. Nope, charged me the full boat for gorgeous huge bouquet of sunflowers for something a notch above carnations and not a single sunflower in the bunch! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS DISHONEST BUSINESS! YOU WON'T GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR! I wish I had read the bad reviews before ordering from them. I don't know how they are still in business. What a scam they are running!
I order flowers for my goddaughter 's birthday the day before. I asked for the to be delivered before 2:00 that following day om her birthday. At 5:00 I called the shop because they had not made the delivery. They put me on hold and never returned. I called back after 20 minutes and got another person, who could not contact the local shop. I was told to wait until 7:00, and call back for an update. I paid $141.56 for flowers, and I am mad as Hell jockey stick. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE.
My son is in the US Army stationed in Texas he ordered me flowers for my birthday and paid extra for the to be delivered before 2pm. They said I wasn't home and they tried to call me. Neither true They finally called me at 3:30 to see if I was home. And I was. They said the flowers would be delivered within the hour. I called them at 5:30 to find out where they were. The gentleman Anthony that I spoke to rudely insisted they would be delivered the next day. Not what my son paid for. He eventually just cancelled the order and was disappointed that I didn't get my flowers.
Funeral large standing spray from immediate family NOT DELIVERED. Called at hour of delivery and said THEY HAD NO DRIVER TO DELIVER FUNERAL SPRAY! Asked if they could deliver to residence the next day! Nothing but an apology and refund. We had enough grief. Please don't use this company
They charge you $24.95 for a service fee, for doing the job you hired them to do! DON'T ORDER FROM THEM, THEY ARE A RIP OFF. I've filed a complaint with the State AG to look into this practice because at no point are you informed about this fee added to your bill. You authorize 65.00 and without your knowledge they tack on the 24.95. Totally illegal. Contact your State AG and file a complaint better yet don't order from them.
I ordered flowers for my so in laws mother who lost her husband. They were going to the town of winterville nc. I was told they would be delivered that day. After talking to my son in law late that afternoon I found out they never recieved the flowers. After several emails to the company with no responce I called them on Friday morning. They looked into it and said they weren't delivered on thursday. So they finally delivered them today Friday in the afternoon. Needless to say I would never order from this company again. Their customer service is really bad.
Was charged an extra $30 Fee and when I spoke to customer service about it they informed me it was so that my flowers We're delivered and good shape You would think that feed the flowers and delivery we would cover such a thing
I tried to order some flowers from my wife yesterday Friday Sept 9th to be delivered to her at the school she teaches at. I was away for the weekend with my son and I ordered the flowers and paid for them and they were never delivered. I found out they sent me a text saying the delivery people couldn't do it but I had no way of knowing this becuase I was not with my phone. So not only did she not get her flowers but they tried everything to deliver them the next day which would have been no good because she was not at school and I wanted them delivered to her there. And they absolutely did not want to give me a refund which the finally did after being on the phone for 40 minutes. They really really messed up the surprise for my wife They should have just told me from the beginning they couldn't do it. Plus there telephone assistance department is terrible. They disconnected me two times after being transferred three times. It was very frustrating.
Horrible flowers dead after three days 5 pieces of chocolate for 17.99 give you 48 hours to complain because they know flowers will be dead by 49 hours gave half of this as called 85 arrangement
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
