Very disappointed in Avas Flowers. I picked them due to local town presence and good ratings. Boy was I wrong. I ordered a "large" birthday flower arrangement with a ballon and gift card. The flowers came only with a hand written name of the person receiving the flowers. NO ballon and No gift card. The flower arrangement was more on the "small" size as well. This was a very special occasion and choosing you turned out to be a large disappointment. I will never order through you again or recommend you to others.
They take your order over the phone, promise delivery, and then don't deliver, tell you the order was placed on "flex" delivery due to COVID-19 and they want to keep your $30 service fee when you cancel. Their website has all the legal "contract" stuff you would normally find on a fraudulent website, trying to scare you from taking action. The company pretends to be a local flower shop but is located in New Jersey. Their only goal is to get your $30 service fee. Their customer service number is an automated attendant that hangs up on you and email is unmonitored. This is a SCAM. This is a fraud. Had to call the bank to stop payment. If they want to go to court to get their $30, all for it. Can't wait to see them there. Hope they don't get a call to send flowers for anyone in the mob. They may not see the inside of a courtroom if they do. They use COVID-19 and your own Mother (Mother's Day) to commit fraud. Is there anything lower?
I paid for an arrangement to be delivered and it wasn't delivered the day that it was supposed to be delivered, so called customer service and no help at all. I gave them another chance and they still failed to deliver for the second time. The customer service is no help they can't answer questions nor can they help. I recommend do not use this company cause service is horrible and they can't answer not one question
Ordered flowers for my daughter to be recieved at work, (she works at a bank). They delivered the flowers to a title company upstairs from the bank which was clearly a mistake, the address and bank name were on the delivery. Hard to miss the address. People upstairs called down to the bank at 5pm and said they had flowers for someone, delivered that morning. Avas gave me a $10 credit. Customer service not helpful.
My daughter sent me flowers for my birthday on 4/19/23. She informed me ahead of time as I was working. When I got home there was not a delivery. My daughter checked on it and said they gave her a very vague answer. Nothing came the next day or day after. My daughter was really frustrated and I said I could call. I was basically lied to when the rep for Ava's said it was on a truck and I should have it by 3pm. Nothing came Friday. I thought it was odd that Ava's would not share what flower shop it was coming from. So I took it upon my self and called 4-5 local shops and actually received a call back from
1 and that they were going to deliver it Saturday by 3pm. The owner said she just received the order. My daughter thought she was calling a "local" shop. Which in fact it was a 3rd party shop that distributes the orders. Very disappointed and would NEVER recommend Ava's
I bought my mom a nice bouquet for Mother's Day and even had a little note on it. I paid $116. They didn't told me they couldn't deliver it because someone wasn't home therefore said they would deliver it the next day. Someone was home but the flowers never arrived! I then called to cancel my order. They offered a $15 coupon and they would deliver it the next day I then said I do not wanna do this anymore. I do want to cancel this order I was placed on hold for approximately 15 minutes. Therefore I hung up and I will be getting my money back… not with Ava's flowers though! Do not order from this website if you do, expect not to get absolutely anything or to get the wrong item. Their customer support is not great at all if you want a terrible bouquet or terrible communication order from here!
I was so disappointed/embarrassed with the flowers they delivered they charged me 1,314.75 to be exact I specifically asked for red and white roses I ordered eight wreaths I ordered a heart a cross angel wings I asked for ribbons that said beloved son brother uncle friend and not one was delivered they charge me for every single thing I asked for and the day of the ceremony they had only dropped off random things north I asked for it was so embarrassing I don't recommend no one to this place they let us down there was no do overs this was a one time thing our goodbyes and they pull this crap by far the worst Service So disappointed the first picture is what we received the second picture is what the advertised they ruined my brothers funeral
This is the worst flower shop ever. I order a bouquet for my husband nephew ( who pass away). The flower NEVER GOT DELIVERED. They send to my email a bunch a spam message. I call the Avas Flower customer service like 10 time, they came with a bunch of excuses. I told theme that I need my money refund immediately.Don't trust this place.
I live in Sacramento California; I placed an order over the phone 3 days before a funeral. I planned to have the flowers delivered the day of the funeral. A worker from Avas Flowers called me the day of the funeral to tell me that they could not deliver the flowers. They told me they would refund my money but that was not the point, I expected the flowers to be at the funeral. I am very disappointed. I do not recommend this place at all! I wish I had looked at the reviews before placing my order.
I have been sending my daughter pink roses on her birthday since the day she was born. This year her roses, that I ordered from Avas Flowers in pink, were delivered from Shaws grocery store in purple.

After spending almost $200 for mothers day what I received was nothing like what I ordered no chocolates and a blank card totally ruined the occasion look up their reviews on the BBB it's all true why they are allowed to cheat folks this way is beyond me. On May 3 flowers were ordered to be delivered on May 8 for a birthday. I was assured they would be delivered on time. I have been on the phone everyday since then with multiple issues including date changes, 3rd party florist changes and them not being able to find the correct address. First, the florist recorded the zip code incorrectly and went out on the road to deliver but could not find it. That was corrected and they changed third party florists and were given the birthday owners telephone number. They did talk with the owner. Today on May 10 they called and said the flowers were delivered but they were not delivered to the correct address. At this point they are refunding the money but the birthday was 2 days ago and my gift was never received. In addition, they changed the original order saying they did not have those flowers. After all of these issues, they only wanted to give a 50% refund and I had to argue to get a full refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ORGANIZATION!
Substitute flowers were used, with my approval. When I saw the flower arrangement that was delivered, I was livid, it was absolutely terrible. I could do a better job, and I'm not a florist. It was atrocious. Avas flowers would not give me the name of the flower shop they used. 50% refund? OK. Wasn't 50%. I will never use Avas again, EVER. If i could give minus stars for a review, I would. -5 stars.
I placed an order on a monday for a delivery wed. I found out Thurs they still had not been delivered. I called in and complained and they apologized and said they would deliver that day. Monday rolls around and still no delivery. I am so dissapointed as it was for my BFF's dad who had passed away that monday. I cancelled my entire order. I will never use this company again. They are terrible on all levels. Its just embarassing when you tell your friend they are getting a delivery and they never did deliver. Not a fan!
Had ordered flowers paid the extra money by a 2:00 p.m. delivery time by that time nobody with Ava flowers would communicate with me until I canceled the order they keep saying that they refunded it to the bank as of August 4th today is September the 7th Avis just keeps telling me that the bank is holding it up do not order from them Ava's never gave me the review do not order from them I spent $91.91 and never received the refund they keep saying it went to the bank the bank never got it funny I got refunds from U-Haul and had no problems with that Ava's flowers never showed up even though they say that it did just a big run around do not order from them
They pretend they are local but try to ask to go to the store try to get you to order from them. When you can go directly to a local florist and pay a better price and the florist makes more money. Just to a local florist. Stay away from huge mmarkups
Ordered flowers for mother's day on Early Thursday afternoon (1:30ish) before mother's day. I'm able to go to moms. Mothers day at11: am i call mom. Nithing so far. I call mom at 3:30, still nothing at her at her door.at 6 mom calls me, still nothing. I get on avis website and fill out the required field. 9:30 pm they send me a text, your order has been cancelled and your $ has been refunded. Damn you think you could have said something by Saturday so i can make other arrangements.
I ordered from AVAS FLOWERS, was fine yill the price doubled another story.the flowers arrived for mothers day and it was a shock how they looked...bad not even a little close the there pictures. I called made a complaint, they offered to send more as mothers day is ending. Then offered 1/2 of the price of flowers only, which is 1/4 of the total bill. Never again. They had no pride in there work it should not be passed on to consumers. To be fully reimbursed would be the only coarse aposed to loosing a costumers and dampening a mothers day...
Funeral flower arrangements arrived 1/2 hour late, walked in middle of mass to leave flowers up by the alter. Funerals are sad, but dropping of flowers half way thru is just plain disrespectful
Don't use this site. Grocery stores do a better job at arrangements. So disappointed and embarrassed! Pictures attached of what I ordered vs what was sent.
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
