I sent flowers for a close friends funeral. THEY WERE NEVER SENT. I would never have known if I had not been there personally.
I even called morning to make sure they would arrive before 5pm as there was only a two hour service. They assured me that they would be there.
I was recasted to show up and the the flowers not be there. I was embarrassed. It was important for the family to know "we grieved with them"
I left and called right away. They had no idea what happened and offered me $15 off my order to be sent to their house! I was like no! It was picked for a the funeral home!
I am still so upset about it. I will never use them again.
Started my order online, had a question and called. Lady was nice and took my order, but online offers were not possible. Anyway, got to the funeral home and what I ordered vs. What i saw was not woth the $$ I spent. Nor what we discussed. Pictures of what was ordered vs. Delivered.
My flower order that was delivered looks pitiful. The one I ordered was beautiful. The mylar balloon was nit attached and my order was over $90. Photos attached to prove my statement. I am also submitting to the BBB in Florence, AL.
I ordered Tulips to be delivered. They were promised before noon. The App said "out for delivery" all day. Bottom line. They were never delivered. We were on the phone for hours trying to get someone to help. No one helped. The next day after more hours on the phone, we got a supervisor. I did get a refund but, I had to get flowers from a different place.
The fruit was bad I paid 130 for a basket that showed cheese n meat n fruit nothibg bad bad fruit my sister on Christmas received the basket with 8 fruit I paid large basket n received a small basket 4 of the fruit bad n this is discouraging as hell n ambarrassment to my family.I would never ever use again do not trust these screwy people at. Did a rush order the dat before and the flowers still haven't made it. When called they said good news they were out on the truck. When I called back 3 hours later they said they didn't know where they were.
2 years in a row messed up Christmas orders for elderly grandparents. Gave them a second chance... messed it up again! Offered 15% discount and resend at new years. What a joke! Use a local florist Ava's is terrible cannot send pictures because they never received the orders. Had get different local florist. Would reccomed them for a hamsters funeral
Not only did I give them the order for next day delivery but when they did not deliver it I let them give me the next day delivery and never delivered it. On a day of the funeral I never got it. They sent tan email that they sent it the grieving family. It never came it was so horrible to bother The grieving family over such Petty foolishness I would never use them ever. They cannot even respect the the dead this was the last time for the person to be honored and they didn't care had to go to the Bank and fight them for that money back.

Twice I was told a photo would be taken at the delivery site. A week later…Finally I received a photo of a hand holding a cheap vase, cheap flowers next to a window! $100 flowers! Don't use Avas flowers!
Pathetic, Not only is this not a floral shop What I ordered was a beautiful arrangement in a vase to be delivered to a friend that just had surgery. What I got with some stupid bouquet from Albertsons brought by a DoorDasher not even in a vase nor water. And on top of it the DoorDash girl lied and said that it was in a vase. Such a scam. Shame on your ava flowers and then not wanting to refund my money. $70 for a crappy wrapped bouquet from Albertsons Are you kidding me... Thank goodness CC companies dispute situations like this to correct it. Dont waste your time or money on this company.
I will never order for Avas again. I get substations, especially in this economy. Their website says the flower will be of similar color of of higher quality. My $75 arrangement was half the size of what was advertised and was missing 3 of the the flowers, way under the quality I paid for.
I also bought it fo the "pop" of color. Why advertise an arrangement you cannot make?! Do not order the "She's got style, she's got grace." I am happy to show you a side by side of what was on the website and what we got. SUPER disappointing.
I tried for over an hour to contact them either by email or other means to change an order. They kept redirecting me back to the original page and never was I able to get to a site that would allow me to do any changes I wanted to do. I tried my cell phone, order number, and email address. No matter what I did. They just kept sending me back to Square one. Very frustrating. I finally gave up. I almost canceled my order.
They "delivered my flowers" on valentines day at 630pm and it wasn't even delivered, you can not get in contact with anyone, what a waste of time waiting for these, will never ever use this company again. Who delivers flowers at 7pm on valentines day. Absolutely disgusting!
Ordered flowers from Avas for my wife. They showed up looking like walmart store bought flowers stuffed in a vase. They redelivered them looking exactly the same a 2nd time. And then when I wanted a refund they wanted to go pick up the flowers an take back. The flowers look like they are arranged an packaged by a manufacture in bulk. It was embarrassing for anyone to think I would order flowers looking like that an send to my wife's work.
Ordered flowers the Friday before Mother's Day to be delivered on or before Mother's Day. Mother's Say comes and goes and the flowers aren't delivered. Noon on Monday they finally reach out because of a "problem" with the order. The "problem" …? They don't have the arrangement I selected from their website. They tell me this AFTER Mothers Day? They then offer to deliver a "designer selected" arrangement instead. What?!? What really nice flowers are even left after Mother's Day? For almost $100 with an egregious $28.95 service charge (!) you are going to send my recipient an arrangement of whatever flowers might be left?! AND deliver it a day late? No thanks. There is no excuse why they didn't contact me on Friday after the order was placed to make alternative arrangements. This was totally unacceptable.
I was initially happy with how easy it was to order Avas Flowers from a different state online. However once I submitted my order (Beautiful pink and purple arrangement) I was then sent an email that the flowers I had chosen were not available and I had to pick from a lesser option listed (Sun flowers) Thinking they would be in a equally pretty arrangement, I was sadly mistaken. They ALSO informed me that I had to change my original selected delivery date! So said flowers were delayed a day past my desired date. I can't get ahold of anyone who is willing to refund or fix this issue and their guidelines state they don't do refunds without a return within 24hrs.
Not pleased with the flowers delivered for the price I payed. I do not recommend this company.
I ordered flowers for a dear friends 82 birthday and paid extra to make sure delivered on her birthday and wasn't delivered. Tried all day yesterday to get a response on way and nothing. Finally got ahold of someone today said try to get delivered tomorrow. I have used this company three times and every time had issues. DONE!
I had a specific day I needed flowers delivered to a special little girl, just out of surgery. They said it was same day delivery and I paid extra $28 for same day delivery and 9.99 for delivery charge. Sent me a text saying they were delivered but they were not. Called and opperator said it was a holiday ( which it wasnt) and then told me to call back another day. I paid $110 for flowers that did not make it to this precious little girl that just had surgery. I will never use this company again
I spent $85 to send a bouquet. I upgraded the one I selected, and during checkout I was charged a$25 service fee (not for delivery)! The flowers that arrived were 1/3 the size of the ordered arrangement! Two days later the rose pedals were falling off. A scam, ripoff, call it whatever you like. JUST DON'T ORDER FROM THEM.
This company made me look like a fool in front of my mother-in-law, her birthday flowers did not arrive at all, let alone arrive on the 'same day delivery' promise they gave me. What a load of crap. You can't get a person on the phone and when you try to cancel it won't allow you. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
