They sell and advertise themselves as being local but they're just a call center. Over 45 minutes to place a simple floral arrangement by phone and then it wasn't even delivered. Another 30 minutes on the phone to cancel the order and then it shows up anyways several days later. Another 30 minutes on the phone to get a refund. Customer service is the worst and their call menu system is even worse than that.
If I could mark 0/5 I would. They say same day delivery and does not deliver the same day. Absolutely horrible! I will never order from this company again! Wanted my ordered on the 5/5 and well it is 5/7 and still has not been delivered! When called costumer service they kept promising that it would be delivered today and nothing. Horrible will never use this place. They better refund my money! I will go else where!
I was an idiot and didn't check this company's reviews before ordering flowers for a friend. They could not find a florist so they didn't deliver my order. Whenever I tried to get a full refund they refused. It's almost impossible to reach a live person to talk to and they're incompetent and refuse to cancel and refund my order. I regret using this company. If you read this prior to ordering, my advice is run the other way and use a different florist. I have to admit dealing with this organization is very frustrating. I never received my order so I don't have a picture to display.
They are absolutely terrible do not deal with them they gave 3 different stories and the flowers never were delivered I had to get very rude with customer service to get a refund terrible terrible company
Bouquet of 13 roses and 3 stems (9 buds) of lilies arrived 4/4/23. Approximately $150
As of today, 4/7/23,6 roses are dead and the lilies never opened and are now brown and dead.
Vendor said they couldn't do anything because the order was over 48 hours old, but because they were "good people" they would give us a 20% discount.
First pic is what was ordered. Second pic is what was delivered. I believe the pics speak for themselves. I contacted CS and they refused to contact the florist and have the order redelivered. With todays technology businesses have to understand that the recipients will send pics to the sender. As you can see based on the pics - this purchase was a complete waste of $$. Ava's flowers does not fill the order themselves but sub contracts the orders to local florist and refuses to hold the sub contracted local florist accountable when they do not understand the assignment. If you are going to subcontract then stand behind your customers and be sure they are getting what they pay for.
I ordered a deluxe coffin spray for my father's full military service for $300. A banner that said Dad was to be added. Being I couldn't make the funeral I wanted this to be very special. It NEVER arrived. Meaning there wasn't a casket spray, and worst, no flowers from his only daughter. ",Oh, we apologize for the mix up", was all they had to offer. I ordered this three days before the funeral. This company is a fake and doesn't give a crap about anyone. You have been warned.
The absolute worst of the worst. Scumbags, don't waste your time or money. Don't even think about receiving the product on a planned day or holiday, they get to you when they feel like it. I only left one star because you have to, they don't even deserve the one.
I placed an "upgraded" arrangement order and what was sent was an embarrassment! I called and complained, a replacement was sent but it wasn't much better. Sad, little arrangements. I feel ripped off and totally disgusted! Don't order from this company. You want get anything that looks like what you wanted. Plus I was charged a $29.94 service fee!
I ordered flowers that had a guaranteed same day delivery. They were marked as delivered but were not. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and waited until the next day to see if they would come. Never did. I tried to reach out to let them know and received a voicemail a few hours later that they would be delivered by the end of the day. STILL HAVE NOT ARRIVED! I have reported it again as missing but cannot get a hold of anyone. Phone number on the website leaves you on hold for 20 minutes then the line goes dead. What a waste of $100.
I ordered a sympathy bouquet and paid extra for same-day service. Maybe 30 minutes later, I get a text saying that what I ordered is unavailable and they've made a substitution "at no additional cost." Of course now it's after the same-day cutoff time, so 1) they want to push it to the next day, and 2) their substitution was a bright, colorful, springy/tulip-y happy day flower arrangement, to replace my white-ish sympathy arrangement. So I call, and it begins. A death in the family that day, and she's actually arguing with me, talking over me, and trying to sales pitch me. Long story short, I'm... let's just call it "impolite" enough to shut her down - I got the refund. But no, like someone else said, they're not local - they're a call center. I found a local that had a better selection and saved $40 on top of it. Don't waste your time with Avas, espcially if you have more important things to put your energy into than arguing with a socially inept telephone clerk.
Do not order from Avas. So jipped and embarrassing. Send saddest version of a $130 order. Awful, embarrassing sent wilted and was so beyond cheapest quality not 1 flower i bought! Then they pathetically want to pick up up a wilted wrong sad bouquet 5 days later! From an RN supervisor in a nurse facility How sick! Embarrassing no money back which i beg. She returned flowers on hercown 2 days later, still no refund. So awful. Never use.
Order flowers for funeral and paid expedited delivery fee. They didn't bother to deliver or to alert me of the status. They sourced it out to a local florist. No one answered. They did offer to deliver them another day. What is the point of delivering funeral flowers another day?
This is truly the worst flower delivery experience I have ever had. Their customer care number takes you to a dead end. If you google you can find another number that takes you a call center not based in the US. I was informed by someone reading a script in a call center, 24 hours after my order was placed, that the sunflowers I ordered were not available, and they were unable to tell me what the florist would replace them with. It took us an hour to establish that they were sending something random/ they could not tell me what it was. A few hours later I got another call from their call center and they told me that my delivery date (that I paid extra for) was unavailable and the new arrangement would be delivered late. And I have no option to do anything because, if you are able to get someone on the phone after a 30 minute hold time, the people you speak with are unable to help at all because they are outside the country. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I placed an ordered on a Saturday; it was to be delivered the next day. I checked my emailed that Sunday and the email stated they attempted to deliver the package; which was a lie because the email was sent out at 1:29pm-but they supposedly attempted to delivery the order at 4pm the same day. (An obvious LIE!). I called them several times and no one was able to provide information on my order. The customer service was awful because everyone I spoke to kept telling me they would reach out to the local florist (but the local florist never answered their calls; and Avas will not give the customer the local florist number or anything else. Not worth the $70.00 headache!

I made an original order of a funeral arrangement that was delivered 2 days early. I told them I needed 2 and they picked up the original order and the next day dropped off an order was half the size and said they would bring the other arrangement the next day which did not happen.I ended up going to the store and buying an arrangement myself. During grief the last thing you need to worry about or arrangements you knew you could trust and Ava's Flowers is unreliable at best.
I thought since they were the first company to pop up when I searched flowers in the area that they were a reputable company. I was very wrong. The woman on the phone was very helpful and talk to me right through the whole process. She even insisted on staying on the phone with me while I punched in my payment card. Something kept telling me it wasn't right, but I was the one who called them. My flowers were never delivered but they were sure to take my money quickly. Every time I try to get customer service, they hang up on me. I should've read reviews first. I'm so mad at myself for getting scammed.
I ordered flowers for the funeral of a member of my family. I paid extra to get the product to look the same as in the picture advertising. However, what was delivered to the Funeral Home was nothing like in the advertisement regarding the number of flowers and the arrangement. I considered this false advertising. One should not trust this business that has provided products/services based on false advertising.
Do not order from this site... unfortunately i did... it posts that the flowers r less expensive than other sites... it also posts that it's local to your location for delivery... it's not... i fell for it and for a less than $30.00 order i was charged over $60.00... dont order from them, please... my mistake
I ordered flowers and a balloon for delivery. I ordered 3 weeks in advance. They were to be delivered today. Well. THEY are saying they were delivered, but they weren't. Attempted to call customer service and it hangs up on you every time. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. WORST COMPANY EVER.
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
