My mom ordered flowers for my birthday and was charged over $100. She ordered a large flower arrangement with balloons. The balloon were never delivered and the arrangement was very small and the flowers look liked they were picked from a garden. My mom was so disappointed on the size, price and customer service.
Do not order from this company. Immediately charged my account. My daughter got engaged out of town. I was promised the same day delivery to the resort they were staying at Spent $130 in flowers chocolates and a card. By the end of the day there was nothing sent. They wouldn't take my call it was linked to the order number. Upon using another phone I was able to speak to a representative they hung up on me put me on hold transferred me. Long story short never was able to talk to anyone. I reported this as fraudulent after reading numerous scam reviews for this company.
Ordered a bouquet, and. Got a standard bouquet left w/unnamed person somewhere in the hospital after paying for the fullest version of the bouquet. The balloons I paid for were supposed to say "get well." My family had to wander the hospital looking for it. The teddy never got delivered.
Ordered a large sunset in Belize for my family in MA (I live in OR). They got a medium ish bouquet that looked like they grabbed a a grocery store one and shoved it in a vase. They also had a $24.95 "service" fee. I got that refunded.
So I called after I got the picture from my nephew. They refunded another $20. The customer service people are the only reason they get 2 stars
I ordered flowers for my daughter for her graduation from Grad School. I was attracted by the possibility of same day delivery. I paid for my order online. This was last Thursday. It is now five days later, Monday, and there still are no flowers and I can't seem to get anyone to talk to me. MAJOR RIP OFF and needless to say I am very unhappy with their service.
Worst flower company - EVER. Literally made ordering flowers the biggest headache. I sent sympathy flowers to family - they came 5 days late. I ordered ALL WHITE sympathy flowers and they sent a rainbow of flowers. They also called the family member who was mourning over 5 times. Ridiculous. Save your time and money and do not use them.
I sent my daughter flowers for mothers day and spent a lot on the bouquet. They never arrived so I called to find out what was happening. Lets just say I called six times in a two week period to some call center only to be told they were coming the next day. They never arrived so a few weeks later I called and demanded a refund and they said of course they would with an apology but I never got the money back. All the phone calls were so frustrating and took so much time I finally gave up. Don't order from Avas Flowers!
The difference between the delivered flowers and the picture of the flowers is remarkably different, either the price I paid, I'm extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this purchase! Would never use them again or recommend them to anyone else! I feel they took advantage of the fact that's were and out of state purchase, and besides the above mentioned, they charged 30$ service charge! If I were purchasing the arrangement that was delivered to my sister I would not have paid more than $30 for it, instead of $117.00. Buyer beware!'
I ordered flowers for Mother's Day 3 days prior to the holiday. On the day it was supposed to be delivered, the order was cancelled and "refunded" due to Avas being "unable to fill" the order. I am still working to get my refund almost a week later, and it is impossible to speak with a real person on their useless customer service line. I have seen several reviews regarding the same issue, and it looks like a lot of other customers have had to contact their banks to dispute the charge. Do not order flowers here. This is not a legit company.
The ordering process was simple and straightforward, and having images helped. I was surprised when my wife showed me the message, which was printed on the delivery information ticket. The surprising part was to learn that the order was sub-contracted out to Safeway Floral. At no point during the ordering process was it disclosed that I was buying flowers from Safeway Floral, which has a lower value perception, and in reality also has a lower price point than that of Avas Flowers! In other words, if I had wanted to buy from Safeway, I would have done so - instead I purchased what I thought were "premium flowers" and paid quite a bit higher than the value delivered. Lesson learned - won't be using this service again.
I will never use Ava Flowers again. I ordered an upgraded bouquet and my mother received half the size with mostly filler flowers. I paid $100 for a $20 bouquet. They fully refunded but made her leave the bouquet outside to pick it back up ( tacky). It was her 80th birthday. I was so disappointed. I've showed the one she got and the one advertised after ( which again was supposed to be upgraded). I picked this one because it was supposed to have carnations and none were included. It looks nothing like the advertised one! Also it advertises pink roses and red were given. Never will use again.
I ordered a beautiful stand of white flowers for my dear friend of 50 years that passed unexpectedly. What they delivered was not what I ordered and embarrassing and unacceptable for my deepest condolences.Shame on them!
Was suppose to deliver on Friday, didn't. When called said they would re-deliver, received text message that flowers had delivered, but didn't. Solution was to send out again on Monday. Super disappointed!
Ordered flowers for a birthday, delivery was never made and they lied about making an attempt as the recipients were home all day. The phone CS was not America and couldn't really help aside from offering to make the delivery a different day. At the end I got a full refund, they are a waste of time. Don't try them
On Sept 5, I ordered a large, sympathy peace lily for a family member. By the time all was said and done, a 24.00 service fee was added to the cost. The total was over 100.00. The day it was to be delivered it went to the wrong house. After two days I was told the order would be replicated and sent to the proper address. The order arrived but it was the wrong order. It was a bouquet of yellow roses. That was not what I ordered, and nowhere nearly as expensive as the peace lily. At this time the floral arranger cannot be reached. Make it easy on yourself and stick with private florists. This place is a shady, hot mess.
I ordered flowers and was assured they would be delivered the next day in the morning, at 12:45 they had not been delivered so I called and was told that they agent that helped me had made an error and they entered to have them there by 4pm not in the morning. I was told they were trying to reach the florist and would call me back soon. After not receiving a call back I called back at 3:15 pm and was told they are on the way and would be delivered shortly and someone would call me back. At 5:00 pm after the flowers were not delivered and still no call back I was told that to get a refund I would need to talk to a supervisor but they were all on calls and they would call me back in the next 20-30 minutes. I never received that call and had to call back the next day and it took over 30 more minutes on the phone to finally get them to agree to refund since the flowers were never delivered and they cannot provide any updates. This place is a joke.
I wish I would. Have checked how horrible tis company is I would have never ordered my mom flowers, at this place. I ordered them yesterday at 1 pm. because yesterday was her birthday.it's 3:50 the following day and still haven't been delivered.Never again...and I would never recommend them.they are horrible and they are way to pricey...
Flowers arrived on time and exactly the way I ordered them! I was surprised because the reviews of the company are really bad. However, my experience was great. I was also able to talk to customer service twice to inquire on the status of the delivery.
Flowers were delivered to the wrong house was told to go to the house and get the flowers. Had the nerve to say they will give me $10 refund emailed multiple times got put on hold was disconnected said they would resolve the matter but have not had a response yet.
I ordered a beautiful, expensive, floral arrangement for my Mother while she recouperates at home from surgery. She got a dozen red roses without any arrangement to them. If I wanted red roses, I would have ordered them. I was disappointed in the quality and amount for the price I paid. Will NOT USE this company again.
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
