Horrible customer service
November 28, 2023

Was talking to a lady on the phone about my bill and what I was paying for that made it so high and she was so rude and unhelpful about the whole situation then when I asked to speak to someone else because of her attitude she hung up the phone after going through multiple representatives to help me with my situation. Completely unprofessional and rude. Seems like they don't know to much about how customer service works. Would highly not recommend.

Three items were "shipped" to my home nothing ever arrived. Three appointments were made for a service tech to come install my internet at my new house and no one showed up nor did they call. I spent over four accumulative hours on the phone trying to get help and they just kept making service appointments that no one showed up to. The internet quality is great if you can actually get your service installed. I hate to discontinue my service at AT&T but they are clearly not interested in resolving customer issues.

I have never encountered such an awful company in every facet of its business. I am now with Verizon. AT&T tried to charge us for multiple months a li e that was not ours. Absolutely uncooperative and no initiative to address customer issues. I would NEVER use AT&T for any services.

We recently switch over to AT&T from Comcast for our Internet and land line phone. My wife run's
Her business from home and needs a land line. Its been nearly six weeks without the land line phone.
We have had appointments twice with an AT&T service tech, no one showed up either time. We left Comcast for the same reason, for sub standard customer service. I don't know how either of these companies remain in business, probably no competition. In the area we live, these are our only choices.
Continue to stay in business.

I attempted to open a BUSINESS account... WORST experience ever. I spent countless hours over two weeks trying to get an account and phone. Problems for them switching from Consumer Cellular. Support was terrible; the reps were not English speaking, knew little about the problems and hung up on the AT&T Store Manager time after time. Tried to work through their Facebook account on Messenger... the reps there have no authority or ability to do anything of substance. Save yourself the stress... go somewhere else!

I switched my business phones from Verizon to AT&T. The biggest business mistake I've ever made. The salesman lied about absolutely everything. Trying to get any answers from their customer service is impossible. It is hard to believe that a company, the size of AT&T is run like a company that two high school kids run out of their garage. At this point, I am debating whether to just cut my losses or seek legal action. Never again!

They're crap
February 22, 2022

They don't value their customers at all. Especially the loyal ones. $174 per month for 2 tvs is ridiculous. And they think they're doing you a favor if they offer promotions which expire and you have to keep calling back to renegotiate then you get someone in Asia to assist you. Seriously!

Bought a phone, rep. Stated my phone was good for a $800. Trade in. Contact att, spent many hours trying to resolve this. 3 different att reps. Have approved my credit. Now they are saying no deal. BAD, HORRIBLE SERVICE! Did I say to stay away from AT&T?

I've had phones, TV, and internet from AT&T. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. But if anything goes wrong, or if they decide they want to change your service, you will spend at least 8-12 hours on the phone being shunted from department to department. They will promise to send someone out to fix it who will then claim to have no idea of how to accomplish anything. They will make multiple appointments which they will neither keep nor cancel. They sent someone out to my place of business (not when they were supposed to) to install fiber optic, who then had no idea how to turn it on... so we were without internet until we could get someone back out. Don't know what other options you may have, but they'd have to be better than AT&T, which has the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

While traveling internationally, I made a point of staying on airplane mode and using wifi, but AT&T still stuck me with a $500 bill since I didn't BUY their international plan. When I called to complain they said there was nothing they could do about the charges and were incredibly rude to me. I'll be switching my provider now. Thank you, next.

Att is just the worst. Your guys customers service is awful and the animated voice is just playing annoying and can't get anything correct. There's always some type of weird glitch or something with the website, the service is actually the worst I've ever had, to the point where my gps will legit track me 5 blocks to the left. Shame on me for going with the cheaper route, but at this point I'm ready to pay double to go crawling back to Verizon.

Never get the same answer
September 25, 2023

My mother is elderly and she has At & T, her promotion has ended and her bill has gone up. When I spoke with someone last week they offered to go to a different package which would be approximately $35 less per month for her. I told the operator I wanted to review the options and see what channel(s) she wanted to keep before I made a decision on which package to decide on. I called back this week and the operator said that she currently has the lowest/best package. So 1 person or the other doesn't know what they're saying or AT&T is just saying things that are not true. My mom has been a loyal customer and it's always the increase of her bill that causes us to have to call, usually more than once. Obviously the last operator making notes made no difference.

AT&T customer service
February 16, 2022

After several phone calls to them and several times of them telling me my phone was fine on their network as a factory unlocked phone they turned it off anyway. Also it won't even call 911 so apparently they fried the entire phone. It's brand new. They have been deceiving and left out important information every time I called them. As compensation they offered a terribly small discount on a completely inadequate phone that was nowhere near as good as the phone they turned off. They also turned on some phone we didn't even have saying it was a replacement even though we didn't ok it. So all my stuff got sent to some complete stranger wherever this phone was. All with pretty much no apologies. AT&T is the let down of the century for me. I should ad we are Never behind on paying.

Don't waste your money
October 23, 2023

If I could I would give them -10. I talked to Kaylee who told us pricing with everything included. We were going to pay 180 to 190 monthly. Turns out they scam you, our bill is $250 monthly! They are horrible at customer service and don't care. As long as they can make money off of you, they don't care how they treat you or over price you. I regret transferring to this POS company.

Received the advertisement in the mail to upgrade at no extra cost or lower cost. However, through November I was charged $185.19. This month is correct with $128.56. I have phone and internet through them. AT&T ALWAYS advertises something one way and does the complete opposite. Same thing happened with the whole bring us your old phone and get a new iPhone free. The phone isn't free, they just take off the installments. Ended up having it stolen and was told I had to pay for the phone. Well then it's not really free is it? And now I don't have my old phone. They do. It's annoying.

I could not be more pleased with the quality of service I received from AT&T regarding internet as well as tv. In the modern area, service, especially in terms of connectivity is defined by reliability. I began using AT&T out of college when I moved up to a new big city by myself and a dog, not knowing anyone. AT&T provided me an avenue that I used to find interaction between. It's not easy moving to large cities, with a pet, at age 22, but AT&at provided, every month for 7 years reliability as well the ability to learn, collect and process information, and meet people. Thank you AT&T for being there when I need you most!

After returning equipment, I got a bill for $150. After working with 2 online agent, problem was not resolved. I had already gotten an email thanking me for returning equipment 2 weeks earlier and was still billed. I wasted an hour trying to work with these people. Customer service is a nightmare. They finally told me that it was resolved and would be taken off the bill. Apparently, right arm doesn't know what left arm is doing.

Landline didn't work for months, I tried to turn it off. But they just give me the runaround and keep taking out money from the bank account. They suck as a company go somewhere else.So don't even bother with them because that's all they do is hassle you. I will never do anything again with this company again! I had to pay them about $180 dollars and didn't even use the landline! They got mad cause I want to the bank to stop payment and still got a final notice for $36.14 that said if I don't pay I will be sent to a collections agency. Talked to an agent every month for about 4 months. I paid $36.14 let's see if I get another bill next month.

September 22, 2022

So...we did work for AT&T and are now going on 90 days past due on their bill. No surprise they do not allow this same payment system to their customers. Yep, a company where their policy is most definitely a "Do as we say... not as we do."
