I cracked the screen on my samsung galaxy s9 about two weeks ago. I have the protection plan through Verizon and only have to pay a $29 deductible to get it repaired. The repair technician was supposed to show up between 1:00 and 3:00 today. 3:30 rolls around and no one has shown up and the tracking website was still showing no one on the way. Had to call them and was on the phone for about 2 hours, which wasnt a huge issue because the lady was nice. She ended up rescheduling me for a time slot tomorrow so I hope someone actually shows up this time.

If I could give 0 stars I would this company does not stand behind their product within a week of applying this to my cell phone me screen didn't just crack it shattered and I didn't even drop it hard. Not only did the make compensation near impossible for my to get they were also telling me to hold off on getting it fixed until I heard back from them on what to do. Meantime I'd be atleast 3 days with out a phone? Forget that then after submitting the claim I needed a copy of my recept which normally would be fine only I got rid of it as soon as I registered the stuff and sent in all the pics of my phone and what not. I got the confirmation that registration successful and got rid of the receipts. So yeah bad company bad business?

Asurion is a 100% Scam outfit. Period.
Recently they have changed tactics to having to provide an affidavit and photo ID. You used to be able to call In your claim.
Everything they do is a stalling tactic. It is all designed not to process any claims. I pay premium to have my equipment insured and replaced in a timely manner. Neither of these has ever occurred. I have an open claim from January 29, no resolve to date.
Initially they denied my claim. That was due to the fact they had a previous phone listed. However the phone and insurance were bought at the sprint store, and the agent filled out all necessary documentation on their sprint computer network computer. At point of sale. A revised claim was filed February 28. Still to this day no response no email no phone call. Absolutely, unequivocally the worst run insurance company in the United States. They should be prosecuted for denying claims

After four years of use, my pixel 1 power connecter wasn't working (the charger had to be pressed at the exact right angle for it to charge). I submitted a claim and they sent me a new one without any issues. Two days later, however, that phone died and would not turn on even if it was plugged in. We called them and they sent a second phone. This time the microphone didn't work. The third phone would crash whenever I tried to make a call. Now, the fourth phone keeps randomly dying even when the battery has fifty percent power left and it won't connect to wifi networks even after I've tried all the all the software fixes. The asurion customer service was very kind, but clearly however they repair phones is a flawed and possible fraudulent process. I would not recommend them to anyone.

This company Asurion deserves they do not take of their customers in buying their plan! I called this stupid company numerous times and they gave my wife and I the runaround for a week with a broken necklace! I submitted the paperwork numerous times and they failed to email a label and then they gave me a wrong tracking number and claim number and by the time. It took them to fixed it I had the broken necklace in a envelope. I loss or misplace the necklace due to the negligence of not helping me from day one Your company unprofessional and a waste of time! I am giving your company a rating of a 0! I highly recommend no Miltary or Disabled Veteran has to deal what I had to go through since I am a Disabled Veteran do not deserve the treatment your company is taking advantage of Veterans. This is why your company is getting a 0 review!

Bad
April 5, 2020

The insurance phones they provide you with are glitchy reassembled phones. The process to file a claim is easy but the phones they send you are terrible. The one they sent me quit working after a week and they sent me another one that now constantly glitches every time I use it.

Very unprofessional! I lost my wallet and phone and they said I have to go to the dmv to get my license before they can help me!? I work 70 hrs a week and am without a phone until then. I was on the phone over an hour and even spoke with a supervisor. Dania said that management does not talk to customers on the phone. VerY displeased and this business is running at&t into the ground.

Gets worse guys
March 28, 2020

I contacted Asurion about a lost phone. Negligence on my part, yes. Asurion agreed to the claim process and mailed me a replacement. A few emails updating the arrival. When the phone didn't show up I called them. Yes a painstaking process to talk to a real person. I also went through various automated disconnections. When I finally talked to a real person, she was quite friendly and very helpful. Then I was connected with the adjuster. Completely opposite. She left me on hold for quite a while as she accessed my info; given that my info was in their hands through the last four steps I went through. The answer I got: "It appears that the terms and conditions are not being followed." When I acquired about it. I was Told that no further information can be given because Asurion scans and investigations are confidential. Basically, we pay Asurion to lie to us.

Do not buy there water heater extended warranty. It states it covers parts and labor for repairs or replacement. On water heater failed and Rheem provided excellent support and authorized replacement. Asurion on the other hand did not arrange contractor for replacement installation and provided instructions for us to be reimbursed. We complied with instructions but when the bill was submitted in include uninstall of defective unit, return to retailer to obtain replacement unit, and parts and labor for reinstall of new unit. The only paid for reinstall although obviously the reinstall was impossible without uninstalling and returning the defective unit. We were never informed of this until 60 days after submission of claim and multiple promises for full compensation.

Used phone
March 27, 2020

It took hours to complete, if I wasn't on quarantine I would have never finished. A monthly fee, then 275.00 Charge and a threat of 300.00 if old phone is not returned. No one said I was spending all of this time and money for a used phone. Terrible!

Not an actual service
March 24, 2020

You can file 100 claims & they will never reach out to you. The links which claims you can track your ticket is just copypasta back to the front of the line to start a new claim. Want to cancel? Heres another link to start a new claim. Want to say hi? Start a new claim. Tell us how we did by starting a new claim! The iPhone 4 on the landing page tells you everything you need to know. This site was set up in 4 minutes 12 years ago from a template...

Be careful purchasing insurance from these people. They make it almost impossible for you to use it. This is a shady scam. The customer service representatives appear nice but they use it to take advantage of you.

I bought a TV and purchased the extended warranty through Asurion. GFL trying to get a phone number. You can't call the mobile number, they don't handle tv's. No place on my warranty is there a phone number to call.

Secondly, I tried to file online. But when it asks the screen size, it does not accept it. I'm looking right at the info of the TV and my plan.

Worst place. Never again, I will never purchase warranty plans from them. They suck!

I just purchased an Epson printer & needed help from them I was really sold on it from employee at Staples. For the past 3 days I've wasted at least 3 hours of time trying to get help. Don't waste your money & time. Pitiful they can stay in business.

Terrible service
March 8, 2020

Years paying insurance for my phone and when I needed they did not help. I lost my phone, they charged for a new one immediately, saying my new phone will come the same day. What a liar. Im calling to ask for my phone and they said "The expert" who was bringing the phone had an emergency. I wanted to reschedule to get my phone and the lady said that is too soon to reschedule, that I must call the next day. I dont have a phone now :(
