I was recently in New York City and had my phone stolen. I discovered it soon after and within a few minutes my phone was disabled and my claim was being taken. A new phone was shipped in a day and I was up and running again. So sad of the incident but so happy with the result to make me whole!

I had to wait over a month for my replacement. Each time I tried to communicate with customer service, I had an unreasonable wait time. I am currently waiting for a representative and have been on hold for 40 minutes.
I have a warranty through ATT and when my daughters phone screen became glitchy I called them to use my warranty. She has an iPhone XR 128GB. I called to warranty it. Asurion was great to work with initially. When the phone came, to teach accountability, I had my daughter do the data swap to the new phone. The new phone said it couldnt transfer over all the data. She and my wife tried a couple times. Our lives are very busy and very rarely are we all together. Yesterday I made my daughter take both phones to ATT and have them do it and she found out that Asurion sent a phone with 1/2 the storage of her current phone! It had space!
Now the nightmare begins:
I call Asurion and tell them they sent the wrong phone. I said my daughter can't transfer over data and just found out that I paid a $200 deductible for 1/2 the phone! Asurion says because it's been over 30 days they won't do anything. THEY WONT DO ANYTHING! They pawned it off on ATT and Apple who both won't do anything because they aren't involved.
Never have I ever dealt with a company that will charge some mine, send the wrong product and not admit their mistake and fix the issue. I didn't receive a comparable phone, which is what I thought I paid for.

It was so easy to claim and receive the replacement device within 48 hours
Filed claim online in about 2 min! Had a new phone on the way immediately! I only had an activation issue, so not asurion's fault at all.
I was upset I had to wait 4 days to get my screen replaced but Blair the agent was awesome. Screen is just like new

Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
