Since 09/2019 I have been paying $15.00 per month, until 06/2021, for 3rd party phone insurance.
Total amount paid to ATT: $300.00
ATT sold this insurance plan with the understanding that if I cracked my phone screen, I could replace it after a $29.00 deductible. I attempted to get my screen fixed and opened a claim. Upon arrival, I was told they would not fix my screen since the back had a small crack. Stating, this was, "Their Policy".
I never agreed to this policy and never would of purchased had I known. I requested either a full refund of all insurance payments or for them to honor their screen replacement. They refused. I then asked for the policy that I agreed to, and they refused to provide. It does not exist and I feel I was taken advantage of. I have tried multiple times and escalated to management twice - all refuse to help.
DO NOT SUPPORT THIS CORRUPT BUSINESS
Purchased a new top of the line fridg from Home Depot. Paid 295 bucks for the 5 year warranty. At the 2 year point we had an issue. Asurion sent 2 different Techs out. Neither had a clue. Messed up my fridg. We claimed $160 food loss (fridg temp went up to 55 degrees after second tech worked on it.)
I then did some research and successfully fixed the fridg myself.
Received an update from Asurion indicating they agreed to the claim. Thats it. Now it is impossible to contact anyone at Asurion.
YOU HAVE 2 CHOICES:
1. SET YOUR MONEY ON FIRE.
2. PURCHASE AN ASURION WARRANTY
My security issues were solved instantly. In just minutes my iPhone security system was restored to give me back my confidence in protecting my personal information. Plus, I learned of all the options available to protect all my electronic devices. TYVM.
Needed to use warranty, but rep was so fast and helpful and directed me to the manufacturer warranty because it was still under that. And she was extremely helpful and provided all necessary information. Great service, appreciate you Ma'am Shiela ( Graciela)

I was happy bought Asurion protection plan when I purchased products on Amazon. I couldn't believe Asurion protection service is so helpful and fast response. It made me very easy to report the claim. Service people is nice and helpful! I'm so glad to have Asurion! Thank you!
My sons iPad was damaged and I made a claim. Now the business who was going to fix it and the man I presented the claim to both said yes it would be covered. Well I received a denial, and I disputed it with the claims dept and escalations dept. with no help might I ad. So I asked them why do ppl get insurance if not to fix something that gets broken. I canceled my insurance and will just put the money I was giving them every month up to pay for accidents… at least I know it will be fixed that way. Sherri ( very unsatisfied ex customer)
Asurion provides a chat service which will initiate your claim. It was very straightforward and timely.
The representive, Hershey, seemed very kind and respectful via the chat. This made the experience pleasant and it was nice to receive good customer service.
Sent my Laptop in for repair. They couldn't repair my Laptop. Sent me an email for a depreciated value check for my laptop. My coverage says if it can not be repaired, they would replace. I had to go through several people before they finally agreed, that my coverage provided for a replacement. Then I was offered several replacement options, but they were all less Specs that what I sent in for repair. Then had to go through several iterations before the person finally offered something that was comparable to the laptop I sent in for repair. The phone operators and others need better training on how to determine coverage and how to offer replacements. Also, I am still waiting on the return of my hard drive or broke laptop, which I was told they would return.
I couldn't find one of my Asurion plans using the Asurion search tools. Wilson took the available information I had about the product and it's plan and dug until he found that somehow one of my auxilliary email addys had been associated with the plan rather than my primary addy. Now all is right with the world. Wilson was concise, efficient, and personable in working through the situation.
I always panic when I have to file a claim because I fear that I failed to register my device. It always ends up being a nonissue. The partnership that Amazon and Asurion have makes the whole process seamless. No worries, nothing to stress about, just a super easy process.
My covered phone died Dec. 17. The first replacement they sent was defective. Took 4+ hours of tech support between ATT and Apple to determine that. They promised to send another phone. It didn't come. Called 2 days later, they said it didn't ship because it was backordered (another 1.5 hrs on the phone). Said they would send me a replacement check, ok. 2 days later ANOTHER phone arrives, ALSO DEFECTIVE! Another 2 hours on the phone with them and they said the check might get here by January 6,3 WEEKS after my original claim.
Went online to file claim for my broken screen, got claim number went to ATT on Goodman rd and met Therman...he was SUPER AWESOME. Knowledgeable and fast, friendly service! Could not be happier with the service he provided! 5 stars
My TV had quit working, the people at Asurion were great to deal with. On my first phone call, after it was verified, I had warranty coverage I was assured I would be looked after, and my TV would be fixed. My TV was looked at by a technician 3 business days later and it was determined it was unrepairable. Two weeks later a full refund was issued. I am really happy I was looked after as promised on my first phone call and things were done in a timely manner. A wonderful company to deal with. Using the warranty money, I am now with a new and better TV with warranty bought for it, for peace of mind.
When I called to report my claim, I was asked if I wanted to add the home security plan. I declined and the salesperson said "why" is a confrontational tone. I elaborated on why, and he didn't take no for an answer. I said no over 5x and he was still being rude, annoyed and pushy. Come to find out even though I said no over and over, he added it anyway.
Technician got it done in under 15 minutes and cleaned the outside of the phone as well. Great experience.

Unfortuantely my press developed some issues with the wiring and also the bolt in the mug press. I contacted Asurion and immediately Jenny was amazing and helped me walk through the steps to be able to return it.
Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
