Bought a stove in 2020, bought the 3 year extended warranty which should expire in 2024_ which would be after the one year manufacturer warranty. Called Asurion when oven broke last month and they told me that the warranty began at the date of purchase. Yet their written contract says something different. After talking to several people I was able to get them to repair the stove based on the date of delivery - but they continue to tell me the warranty began at the date of purchase therefore the warranty expired a year early.

Amazing experience

Despite the process taking a bit more than the 2 hours that they had me wait, it was an increadibly easy process that is super affordable for the workmanship that they did with my phone, even going the extra mile for my phone to perform at full capacity. I will definitely be referring to friends and family so that they too have a place that's super reliable and affordable to take their electronics to.

This chat platform was extremely easy. But they had a lot to do with the representative, Alyssa. Alyssa was great. She met my expectations and more. Courteous, professional and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to get my activation resolved. You can't ask for much more than that.

Cracked screen
May 9, 2023

Took my phone in for cracked screen/glass replacement, thinking omg they may keep my phone for a few hours to fix. I was the problem lost my mind forgot just that quick how to unlock my phone/password etc. I was frantic! The representative STEVEN was so kind and patient. He waited and once I got it correct believe it or not he fixed my phone in less than 5mins. Amazing!

NOT HELPFUL AT ALL

My husband's phone is broken, we just got married, so i'm not on his verizon account yet. We have tried to call asurion to fill a claim for the broken phone and nothing will work. We've tried going into verizon, they tell us that we need to go to the asurion location, we do that and get told we have to go back to verizon. It's a lot of, "go ask your mom. Go ask your dad" Y'all need to get it together. Don't claim to help folks and then be the biggest pain in the $#*!.

It's a scam

It's a scam. Very difficult to register product. Still haven't been able to register the product so I've basically wasted 30 dollars. I put all the correct information from the receipt in and it still says it's incorrect. Tried using a phone and a pc to register. When I called customer support it directed me to claims... I'm just trying to register.

I scheduled a tech to come replace my cracked phone screen and he did not show! The best resolution customer service offered me was to reschedule a week from now, or to pay full deductible cost for a phone replacement! I took off work to be home for this repair and they failed on their service, yet would not even waive the $30 phone repair fee or offer any comps for the time I took off work to be home for a no show. Absolutely ridiculous that I'm paying for a service that was not rendered.

Asurion coverage of my iPhone
November 21, 2023

My phone was damaged. The screen was not functional at all. I filed the claim on the evening the damage occurred. The repair person came to my place of work the next day and fixed my device within an hour on site! It was as easy as it could be! I highly recommend Asurion.

Fast & Easy

The process took me only a few minutes in my computer to explain the damage on my current phone, and then received a confirmation of my replacement being on the way, and it arrived pretty soon two days later. Extremely fast and easy to follow.

Works sometime

I am a Verizon rep so I have customers come in all the time and I help the with there claim, about 50% of the time there website works with no issues and the customers get there phone the next day. However the other 50% of the time it wont work and we will have to wait on hold to speak to a Asurion rep even for something as simple as a crack screen repair. The staff is nice and friendly but the fact that when you call you are prompted to do the claim online, but the online system just is not very self sufficient.

Worst company ever
March 8, 2021

I had them fix my phone screen through Verizon, the guy I had an appointment with cancelled on me 2 minutes before the appointment. The next day he actually came and the guy who fixed my screen broke my whole phone so they had to send me a new one. After sending me a new phone they charged me $300 for not returning my old phone when I had two separate employees on the phone confirming that they received it. I am currently on the phone with them trying to get me money back and the lady does not know how to help me and have been on hold forever. Absolutely worst experience ever and I will NEVER go through them ever again for anything.

AMAZING Service!

I am new to Asurion I have only been with them for less than a year. But I'm definitely tired of spending hundreds of dollars UP FRONT for extended warranties on already expensive products that doesn't even cover everything that cold go wrong! Asurion covers all the tech in your house regardless of age. It was super easy to file a claim, paid a very small deductible and had the option to drop it off or they would pick it up! AND it was fixed in TWO DAYS! I will never buy another extended warranty again.

Crooks

All I needed was a new screen. Said it wasn't what I needed and sends out replacement after $200 deductible. Replacement phone is straight crap and won't charge. Been on the phone all day about that and at one point on hold for 45 minutes and sent to customer care at VERIZON! This place is a scam and I'm terminating my insurance with them and telling everyone I know to do the same!

Simple and Easy!

The website made it convenient for me to just log on to my account and enter information by answering just a few questions about my mouse that needed to be replaced. The email communication during the claim process was fast and gave clear directions to next steps in the process. There was never any confusion about what I needed to do on my end, or next steps in the claim process. Simple and easy to use!

Fastest Support I have seen

My work depends on me living on my phone. I accidently broke my it during a workout. It was easy to get the referral from my cellular provider insurance plan. All and all it took a total of 2 hours for the whole process. This saved me a lot of trouble and hassle. I would recommend this service to everyone.

I just realized I quoted Vanilla Ice but that's okay.

My phone's screen just stopped working out of nowhere. I was in a panic, as many of us would be. I went online with my insurance, mentioned the problem, got an appointment for the next day and brought it in. I was worried, but within a minute she sussed it out, told me it was no big deal, and it would be ready in an hour.

It was! And on top of that, while I was out I remembered that I was having trouble with my usb charger. When I picked up my phone I was like, "Oh, yeah, there's this issue I have with charging. Do you have any advice?" and she was like, "No problem, I fixed that for you. There was some lint in there. You're good now."

Just great service. Thanks so much.

Fast Fix. Asked for my password at drop off….
October 9, 2023

Broke my phone in the morning on the way to my son's baseball game and had it fixed in an hour and a half that afternoon. The only thing that made me not comfortable is that I was told that I had to provide the password to my phone "for calibration" at drop off. Just allowing a stranger access into everything in my phone for an hour and a half is not comfortable at all on top of the fact that no one pre-warned me about this.

Worth it!

It is worth buying Asurion product protection plans. I had bought several in the distant past but forgot I had bought them and never used them. So, I stopped buying them for quite some time. Then I decided to buy them again for a few recent product purchases and I'm happy I did. The staff is very helpful and courteous.

Bait and switch
April 30, 2021

Basically, the online claim form is set up to deny your claim since there is likely no option you will find applicable that also enables the claim. The one option in the claim form that enables the claim to be accepted is unclear, obscure, and misleading. Instead of paying them each month, just put the cash in a sock and save it up for when you need to pay for repairs somewhere reputable.

Baseball glove return

Torn baseball gloves, Always have a problem with claims with $#*!s sporting group through the website and have to do it in the store or with customer service. Your website will not accept the store number or claim and I'm imputing all information correctly as your customer service support team says and $#*!s. A issue that your IT department needs to look at.
