Jose is the MAN!

Jose was the best when it came to my cracked screen fixing. He was open and honest with timing, told me the data from previous weeks of overheating messages, and recommended ways to avoid that, even without me being notified through the phone. I 100% recommend him if you are close to the Carle Place, Garden City area and you need your screen fixed.

Service like it's supposed to be.

In my opinion my service tech was kind, courteous and handled the call with a level of professionalism rarely seen these days. I was completely impressed with her ability to flawlessly handle my activation while politely engaging in enough conversation to try and upscale the products offered by Asurion if I hadn't already had it I would have purchased for sure.

Stress free service

I have a phone just stop working on me but I have Asurion so no worries. I called up and 2 days later a very nice a professional guy named Lucas I believe showed up during the time frame given and set up my phone for me. I had to activate it still but that couldn't have been easier with an online chat option where Kelly helped me out very quickly. I tell everyone I meet about Asurion and since the day I was told and signed up I have loved not having to worry about some accident or planned obsolescence

The Tech was great

Tech was great! Got my problem resolved...but issue I had was trying to offer me more add ons. I know this is part of his job but this is where verizon went wrong. I already spend enough with Verizon I am having an issue, why you think is a good time to see if I want to spend more money with you...there's are problem fix it!

My phone screen is broken so I call Verizon to see what my insurance is looking like. Turns out Asurion will repair my phone at home for $29! Amazing, right? No... the system is wack. Nobody showed up for my appointment TWICE. It took an entire day to get through to the company due to my cracked screen which presses buttons for me. When the call successfully went through, the woman sent me to the "escalation" line because she heard my frustration. They then told me I had no appointment at all. I have all confirmation emails, a receipt, and I had previously CALLED that day (!) to confirm my second appointment. When you call the hotline, Temporary pin they send via text DOESNT WORK. What do I mean? Simply that. Thankfully my screen was in a good mood and allowed me to bounce back and forth through apps. I wonder how people with broken phones would go about completing this!

Easy Peasy at Asurion

It was very easy to file a claim online I didn't even know I could have them come to my home to have my screen repaired. I am home bound due to several foot surgeries so I can't leave my home do this is extremely convenient for people like me. I would recommend to my entire family but all of my family members already use Asurion.

I am so glad that I bought this insurance!

I purchased luggage and insured them with this coverage. I had an issue with the luggage's performance or lack of holding up to its name. When I didn't get help from the manufacturer, Asurion stepped in and took care of the luggage that I was so disappointed with. Within ten minutes of me calling, I was granted and issued the complete purchase price. Thank you Asurion!

Memories gone
March 10, 2023

Losing something so dear to you is unacceptable. It is so depressing to lose some memorable moments of my life from yesteryear. The only thing that cheer me up is the protect advantage of Asurion and my phone has been replaced. I can't imagine the days without a phone is like alone in the dark, nobody to talk to, to guide you and more. Lessons learned.

Asurion is the way to go!

Let's just say after you get through the annoying automated service. The options you have to repair or replace your phone is great. I went to a location in Delaware and the staff especially Rob is on point. Empathy not sympathy. Honest and very pleasant to talk to. Glad I decided to have my phone fixed locally than wait for a new phone in the mail.

Asurion delivers!

My keyboard went kerplunk. I called Asurion, because I had bought a 3-year protection plan, and they set up a claim number and emailed me an address label to return the keyboard free of charge, via UPS. The next day I heard from Asurion that they had noted the package was on its way to them, and I got a cheque in the mail within three days. I am extremely pleased with their service. Be sure to keep your documentation, the price of the product, and Asurion warranty, in a safe place in case you need them later.

God awful.

God awful. My phone broke in a car accident. Did the same day delivery with asurion. They sent an iPhone 8. I had an iPhone XS. The tech couldn't switch over phones so I was out a phone for 4 days. Ended up going to Verizon and buying a new phone myself. Called to get my $199.99 refund from asurion, and two months later I keep hearing the same thing. "The refund is pending"
Horribly ran company.

Yikes

I was having an issue with ghost touch on my iPhone and it made it impossible to even turn my phone on. Not only was this process extremely difficult and frustrating but they also completely reset my phone before I could back anything up or get it transferred. They completely wiped my phone out before the new phone had even been shipped out, but even if they had waited it would still not be an excuse. I am now left with nothing on my new phone. Not only this but contacting the company is almost impossible and also frustrating. Overall terrible, frustrating, and very stressful experience.

Very Helpful

The new phone I got didn't have thorough instructions about the SIM, it resulted in my phone being unable to call, or reload voicemail and text history. I screwed around trying to figure it out on my own for around 5 & 1/2 hours becuz of that. Tech coach had me all up and running in a half hour or less. I wish I contacted them sooner! They did a great job and it would've saved me a lot of time if I turned to them right away!

I went to local store, they explained monthly plan and i signed up. Repaired all my devices and cancelled my membership January 15,2020 at 8:11pm via their "contact us" page on Asurion. I also called my local store and spoke to a young lady to cancel my membership. It is May 9,2022 and I am still receiving deductions from my automatic pay account... yes stupid me. Call today on hold for 40 minutes, called back again and waiting with no response. I want my March, April and May payment refunded!

False Advertising

I purchased a gaming chair from Staples in June of this year, and specifically also purchased the Asurionn Protection which states, and I quote, in their pamphlet repair or replace, life happens, we've got you covered. If we can't repair it, we'll replace it or reimburse you for it to get you back up and running quickly. What a bunch of BS
I sent them a copy of the sales receipt the purchase protection information as well as pictures of the damaged chair which has stitching coming out from the seat not to mention several other issues. And they say they cannot help me now. Buyer beware this coverage is a scam do not purchase it!

Asurion Scam
September 27, 2023

Asurion is refusing a claim on cell phone that recently stopped working. They keep refusing my claim without a specific and clear reason, only referring me to their terms of service. I have contacted their office of the OCEO and am still can get clarification and/or resolution

Broken screen

You need to register your product before submitting a claim. I did not register my device to the plan and the customer service rep was able to work through it with me via the chat feature. She submitted the plan and I am anticipating the label being sent to my house. Seems easy so far!
