Started at AT&T who suggested using my insurance coverage to fix a cell phone that had been dropped and the screen shattered. Quickly sent me to Asurion for the repair at the Promenade location in Scottsdale, Bell Road and Scottsdale Road. Very professional young man took my phone and I was out in a few minutes with the repair to be completed in a couple of hours. Repair completed on time - cannot live without a cell phone so this was a critical issue to get resolved. Very satisfied with the whole process.
Fast friendly service. Took care of the problem with out asking to many questions only the necessary ones. Issue was resolved with out an argument or headache like other protection plans I've dealt with in the past.
Placed a clam on 8/28/20 was charged a extra fee to expedite shipping for next day which would've arrived 8/29/20, Never received the phone i would've been okay with even 8/1/20 still no phone each time i reached out i was hung up on while they claimed to place me on hold to help. Checked the status online and its trying to charge me more money another (245.00) to be exact. By the way they only received one star because thats the only way a review can be submitted i also will be sharing this with bbb
A few months ago I had cracked my iPhone X screen, so I needed a replacement (for around 200 dollars). Verizon had led me to Asurion and told me I'd need to get the entire phone replaced from them, so I shipped it in. The phone I received isn't half as good as the one I had before. The home button sticks, the camera is blurry, and the battery dies extremely fast. They also gave me some sketchy off-brand charger. Not only that, but when I charge my phone, with it not actively in use, it gets hot to the touch after a few minutes of being plugged into the charger. All I wanted was a screen replacement, not this entirely remanufactured sorry excuse for a phone.
It seems that as soon as I activated the claim, even though the claim started 4 days prior, it fulfilled within two days. Which is quite quick, in my experience. Thanks for your commitment to customer service.
Asurion has left me in the wind countless times. Their Phone bot sucks, and does its best to drop you or keep you from any real answers that you wouldn't find in google.
Newest ordeal, they approved my claim and shipping my device, it immediately was requested to be sent back before delivery, without any excuse, email, or contact of any sort.
On top of that, if you did get in a line of waiting for a Rep to get real answers, I typically always get dropped.
The lady that helped us was just absolutely awesome. She was patient. She took the time to go over everything in detail and work this whole situation out. Wow it was a great experience and one that we will remember!
I filed a claim on line and the end result was for me to call the 800# to talk to repair man. I hesitated for almost a month because every time I thought about calling them it was Sunday or it was late. I finally called on a Sunday, just to check their open hours, and to my surprise someone answered. They are very easy to talk to and in a matter of minutes she determined we needed a repair man to come to the house. They came out 2 days later. He determined it was 1 of 2 possible parts so he ordered one and a few days later it showed up, I called the repair man and he came back within 48 hours to do the repair. He had to order another part. Same routine. He determined their was more to it than that so I was issued a complete refund which I received within 24 hours. I'm extremely satisfied. BTW, this was all taken care of the 2 weeks before Christmas.
My child broke his phone and for obvious reasons I got it insured. So glad I did! He shattered his back screen and somehow broke a sensor or something so he couldnt use Wifi or celluar date. I went online, filed a claim, and the replacement phone showed up just a couple days later. Because we were having issues with connectivity it did take a bit of time to get the new phone setup. I ended up going to AT&T and having them help. Overall great experience and only cost me a little over $100.
My screen on my IPhone 13 Pro Max had failed to turn on and left me in my bind. I recalled I had ausurion for my my family plan so I figured let's see how it works? Man was I surprised the ease of this process simply went online and filed a claim and just like that got my new phone two days later with the option to have live help to activate new one or instructions to diy! Love this company!
Waste of time and money!
They make you jump hoops, send your license and an affidavit then wait 3 hours just kidding they must have Verizon cause 6 hours later they "just received the email"
Oh you want to have us use a different email okay you now have to start over.
This company this insurance is the biggest pile of trash I've ever dealt with.
I will be leaving Verizon because of this horrible 3rd party insurance bs game.

The Customer Representative was courteous, knowledgeable, professional and very patient with me. He is a great employee and an asset to the Asurion Company. Asurion is extremely lucky to have su h a great employee.
Replacement device which I received was not covered under warranty. They asked to choose the colour but received totally different colour which I didn't expect. Poor website performance could not know the status of the claim. Overall worst experience. Not recommended.
After filling out my claim, it was unclear it if actually went through so I used the live chat. Initially it was rejected bec they thought the seller should still cover the grow light malfunction. But we looked together on Amazon and couldn't find anything by the seller currently being sold [including my grow light]. So my money is being refunded. I bought a 4 year plan and needed it w/in 6 weeks! So happy to have it bec the seller is no where to be found. TOTALLY worth spending the extra money for insurance!
I had a broken tablet that needed to be repaired or replaced, and the process that it took happened so fast and so easy it was the most best experience I've ever had with dealing with any of my devices
For context we have asurion for one line on our Verizon phone plan, the other lines have apple care. It has been incredibly hard to communicate with support and get the reasons for a rejected claim. When a claim is rejected, we didn't get any follow up responses for why it was rejected. We only received an email saying it was rejected. In this case some of the pictures on the ID weren't clear enough so the entire claim was cancelled. We were only able to figure this out after calling for hours.
When communicating with support, they said emails would be resent but the emails were never sent making us feel like an afterthought. And yes we did check the spam folder. The experience was extremely inconvenient and I will be moving away from this in the future. I would recommend that everyone uses apple care or an equivalent instead.

Once the CSR found my service/protection plan in the correct division, the actual pickup and repair service was excellent. Second time Doc's Electronics, Nicholasville, KY has serviced a TV through Asurion for us. It once again, was flawlessly done. Tech Jason is professional, polite, and does what he says he is going to do. Products returned fixed and hung back on the wall as found at pick-up! Highly recommend this plan and their service agent for repairs! Definitely worth the money for this plan!
Man, if you go to someone else to get protection for your stuff then you are seriously missing out on the best customer service EVER! I have never experienced, in my 62 years, any service that beats Asurion. When they ask what they can do to make my experience better, all I can say is, you can't fix perfection! Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
