New phone, a little challenged setting up

I purchased the new Samsung Gallaxy Z Fold 4. Brought it home, followed all the directions to transfer information, data, texts, calendar, emails, etc. from my Samsung S9+ using a corded tether. All went well - except I could make calls out. Facebook and other apps were working fine. I called Verizon Tech support and was give a fabulous representative who had great knowledge, patience, customer service and a sense of humor. After sending several chat messages back and forth - she finally figured out the problem, I followed her lead and boom - made my 1st phone call. Wonderful. An overall great experience. Thank you Verizon.

TV replacement

Out big screen tv wouldn't turn on one day. I submitted a ticket with Asurion Home Plus and within 3 days, a replacement tv was delivered to my house. I can't express enough how this insurance has saved me money already. Worth every penny!

Easy peazy

Product replacement
November 22, 2022

I purchased an air mattress and also purchased protection for it thru asurion. My air mattress had a small leak which continued to get worse. I submitted a claim for it and it was so simple to do. They took care of everything. They're sending UPS to come pick up the defective mattress and they're covering the shipping cost. Once they receive it back, they'll send me an electronic gift card to replace it. It was very easy to do.

Asurion Protection a Must Have
October 8, 2022

If you have children & grandchildren, having a protection plan is a must. I purchased a protection plan after purchasing game consoles for my twin grandchildren. After a few months, one got wet and became disabled. One quick chat with Asurion and my worries were over! Repair, labor and shipping all free! It's worth the purchase!

Phone insurance

I took my phone for new screen, and when I pickup, they told me that needs an additional internal repairs,costing me out of pocket $100.00 more.thats ridiculous!
It is chaper to take my phone to another shop and repair it.
I just cancel my insurance from at&t.
For years i was paying 8.00 a month for,nothing!

The worst experience of my life. Spent 4 hours being transferred from different representatives. Needed to explain issue to all of them, without any record of my case! Finally got to someone that could help me and they still sent me the wrong phone twice!
Went to Verizon store and they were no help either! Unbelievable!

Galaxy Note 8 screen failure
October 27, 2023

I was given an appointment time after visiting an AT&T facility near my home to have the Galaxy 8 Note repaired. The sales person directed me to the online site and eventually had to talk to a live person by phone to set up the appointment which was made the very next day. Eugene at the other location was there at the drop off, but I stayed as it was going to take 15 minutes to replace the screen. However, it took 15 minutes longer as the connections needed to be cleaned further as it still was not working properly. Eugene was very apologetic, but made it worth while to stay longer and took his time to make sure I walked out of there with a near new quality phone repaired correctly the first time. Thank you Eugene.

I bought Asurion plan a 13 months ago, when I purchase 75" TV via Amazon. So glad I did! Just after manufacture warranty expired, screen experienced problems. Now Asurion has scheduled a Tech visit for the same week. Fast, and Asurion is doing exactly what they said they would do. No gotchas, gimmicks, or grief.

Five start Plus

They were amazing! I dropped the phone filled out the claim online decided to take it to the location. Thru would have come to me FREE! I walked in and they were ready! Everyone was so welcoming and smiling! They answered all my questions! I cracked the screen and they had it fixed the same day! This location is awesome!

Insurance is supposed to be able to act as a safeguard against catastrophe, however, with Asurion's policies you will always come out behind. The deductible will always be higher than purchasing the same refurb phone directly from the handset maker. Also, don't get fooled by $29 screen repairs. The water proof phones require the back glass be fully intact (to maintain the water proof quality), though that is specifically considered out of pocket. This means even the repair option is a lose-lose for the consumer.

Take your $10 per month (or whatever you are paying to insure the phone) and self-insure by putting it into your savings account. In two years, that's $250, which is a helluva chunk toward your next new toy.

Cancelled my applecare to move to insurance with Verizon. Device is damaged and they wont replace or repair it. The worst experience ever. Make you jump through hoops. Will never deal with this company again. Better off having no insurance.

Issue Resolved Quickly and Professionally
November 26, 2022

Was having issues activating SIM/Cellular on new iPhone device. Kept looking up forums/videos on how to resolve the issue, but they did not help much. Tech Coach, Mario was quick at fixing the issue and even made sure some of the other features on my new iPhone were working properly. Greatly appreciate the help and expertise!

Complete crap. Stop. Save your money!
Been paying for full insurance with 1 day repair or replacement. Screen cracked and I followed procedure to file claim. As others say, you get hung up on repeatedly. Claim said will be processed in 3 hours. A week later, it still said that. We were told that no repair service is available where I live and bc of system errors they were going to replace my phone for the $29 fee. However, conveniently, no notes were added to the system, so they said I would have to pay the $200 replacement. Mind you this has been several days without my phone. Bc I use it for business, I ended up paying $400 for a screen replacement locally. I couldn't wait forever for this process, which is almost impossible to follow up on. Don't try to get any help from Verizon. I have been with them for 20 years and they don't care a bit. We will be leaving Verizon after our family's phones are paid off.

Excellent Customer Care

I am usually totally stressed when I have to deal with transferring data on phones etc, but you have a real gem in Derek. He was very helpful- very patient and personable. It's so refreshing to have the luxury of good customer service. I sincerely appreciate it. Give Derek a raise and hang on to him!

Terrible customer service. They don't understand the concept of speed. They aren't knowledgeable of previous conversions that you may have had with other agent throughout the week. I'm not sure why amazon or At&t would choose them for insurance.

Peace of Mind

As most households with kids and teens, the number of devices is getting a bit absurd, but having the protection and peace of mind that comes with a policy like the one offered by Asurion, one can rest easy. For example, my daughter's Macbook Air laptop was not even 3 years old, however the original warranty had lapsed and the Apple Store said it would be about $500 to fix. You can buy a new one on sale for $800. So, my choices were not great, but then I remembered I had this policy and sure enough it was covered for a small deductible of $99. We got it back in less than 2 weeks and it works perfectly.

Horrible

Don't waste your money, they reschedule every appointment they set up. Each reschedule is 2 weeks out. Over and over. I've had this plan for 5 years and I've been unhappy the entire time. I'm cancelling my plan with asurion. It would be cheaper and more convenient to just pay for a new screen out of pocket. Worst I Durance type plan I've ever had. If you sign up for this after seeing that they have 1.7% satisfied customers, you are asking for it. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I wish I could give zero stars.

Criminal Charges

Please send your reviews to the BBB. These $#*!s charged me 4K for a car warranty that was 100 percent covered and they refused to pay after I paid them an additional 500 bucks for a deductible. Total Scam
