Although the product I received was fine, I realized my package was mailed from Hong Kong! Therefore my credit card number went to Hong Kong. I did not like this at all.
Will not order from them again for this reason. I want to do business with an American company!

I would advise you not to utilize Artscow.com's services. We recently had a very negative experience with them. We placed a large order. It arrived well over a month after it was placed. It was the wrong order. We received a different person's order. We contacted the company and got a huge run around with them. They didn't believe us and kept asking proof that we had the wrong order. We then contacted Paypal to dispute charge. Artscow then contacted us stating that would only remedy the issue IF we closed our claim with Paypal. We did so and wrote to them stating that we did. We then get an email from Artscow stating that now they will only remedy the issue IF we promise never to open a claim against them ever again. They stated that if we did, it would be a sign of mistrust and they would bar us from future orders. How is this company able to do business like this--blackmailing customers not to do what we have every right to do with our money! Please AVOID!

Horrible

They have horrible customer service and just like the user below they will give you the runaround. They don't care about customer service or integrity. They just want your money. Do your self a HUGE favor and buy from a reliable company in the USA. They are always having delays so if you have months to wait for your product maybe you won't have an issue but don't expect them to follow the shipping times and production times stated on their site! Pay the little bit of extra and go somewhere you trust! Believe me! I will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!

My sister told me about this site and I used it this year to make a photobook for my graduating students in Costa Rica. The books turned out great, we got a good promotional price, the shipping international to Costa Rica was free and the shipping time was reasonable since they ship from Hong Kong. I get promo info by email and I want to order more items when I have time to design them.

And then, this happened:

1) Placed an order for two identical keychains near the start of February, didn't get the package until late March. Apparently, they were off for a whole week on Chinese New Year, and they don't tell anyone until you ask why the gift you ordered for your partner's birthday isn't arriving anywhere near on-time.

2) Finally got the keychains, only to find that they rotated the design 45° on them. It's only slightly annoying because most of the design is symmetrical all the way, but this would've been unacceptable in any other case.

I usually have a good experience with China-based retailers, but this was not one of them. You get what you pay 4 bucks for, I guess.

I ordered leggings which didn't have enough room in the Butt area ( I have a small butt by the way) so the pants wouldn't stay up. They were also short for my long legs. They are not cheap to buy! I also purchased a bathing suit that doesn't fit right as the straps are positioned in a strange way, too far off to the side to work. I also purchased a skirt that was cut with giant hips! I mean REALLY? I wholesale my art to stores and wanted to see the quality of this company, For a hefty price I recognized it is not one I will go with. the package too forever to arrive as well, I wasn't aware it was coming form China. I can not recommend this company.

I went crazy ordering from ArtsCow, and then started reading the horrible reviews. It was a bit disconcerting, so I was preparing for the worst.
My first order finally arrived; shipping is very slow, so order way in advance. My second order apparently took more than 2 weeks to go from "processing" to shipped... even though it was only 2 days after the first order. Still, I was happy to see the print quality for all of the products was excellent! I teach photography, so am pretty picky about accuracy and color. Knock on wood, first order is impressive! The material used isn't the highest quality, but none of the stuff looks junky and I suspect things will hold up reasonably well based on what I see. So I'm pretty happy overall!

Rude customer service

When you ask direct questions, they will:

- not answer directly, you will be given the runaround.
- when you ask the question again, even more clearly, you will be condescended to.
- be completely uninformed about the differences between two products (literally, I asked the difference between product A and B, and was told to "look on the website" which literally used the same description for both products with difference prices).

HORRIBLE QUALITY, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I placed an order for the acrylic photo blocks. When they arrived the pictures were of horrible quality. I have used the image for other products with other companies with great success. She I contacted the company they insisted that the product was fine. I sent a side by side photo of the correct image and what they sent me. Unbelievably different. They said they looked the same. Their item was washed out no contrast and overly yellow with little saturation. After threatening to have the credit card reverse the charges they told me to send the item back. With the shipping charges to HONG KONG (not really mentioned in their website that that is where this stuff is made) and the restocking fee it was almost worthless for me to return the items. Bottom line DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Ordered some photo gifts (umbrella, golf umbrella, decorative photo flags, coin purses) and they are AWESOME!

One thing I did not care for is that products are AIRMAILED from Hong Kong. Ok fine, I don't care where it came from but I wish I didn't have to pay the airmail costs. The freebies for signing up for an account are amazing!

Going to have to update my previous review -- have had wonderful products and have been very happy with items. I love them and friends have loved the gifts.

However, customer service is HORRIBLE! They do not issue refunds to credit cards!

My first interaction with them was on a quote for a bulk order. They would not honor quote & tried to up price by 25% saying the quote expired and the new bulk price was set. Our organization walked away.

My latest has been over an order cancellation -- they charged my credit card when I placed the order and then I cancelled it (I ordered wrong size, totally my fault). But they want a cancellation fee -- still no problem because order mistake was my fault. But they wont' refund my credit card (even the amount less the c. Fee) another rep cash-credited my account for a next purchase -- Yeah - great resolution. But a 2nd rep removed it when I asked how to apply it to a further purchase. They won't call me. If I can get my money back either way I am leaving --

They are losing a prolific customer who leaves reviews. Just went from 4 starts to 1.

ARTSCOW IS RUBBISH

ARTSCOW IS RUBBISH. I placed an order for a birthday present and 3weeks later(long after the birthday) i emailed them to ask about it. They said that there was an error in the production so it had been on hold. ARTSCOW did not bother to tell me this until i asked. I paid with a credit card and when i asked for a refund they said they don't refund back to credit cards, that i should send my paypal email. WHAT RUBBISH! WHAT IF I DONT HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT? I WILL NEVER USE ARTSCOW EVER AGAIN!

I ordered products and only half of them were posted. Whoever posted them at the time would have been aware the order was incomplete, but I did not receive any notification of this matter AT ALL. I had to email myself after I received the order which was weeks after it was posted. I should not have to send an email about an incomplete order someone should have emailed me. I am then told that products were defective, again, if this happens THEY should notify customers. After this I ask for a refund for the missing products. Then, after saying I would receive a refund they tell me they have shipped some and offer me a smaller refund. I already told them the products are now useless to me as they will not arrive in time. They do not respond. Due to this, and how long ago I made the order, I opened a paypal dispute in fear of losing my money as things were looking very dodgy at this point. I received the refund. Several days later I get an email saying they will now only communicate with me via paypal. At this point it is getting ridiculous, how do they not know I already got my refund? Then they tell me this is my fault.
I was not contacted at all about my incomplete order, I needed these items and had to order them elsewhere at a higher cost, I had no response from the company until I opened a dispute and then they continue emailing me after. And then I have them being rude to me instead of apologising on behalf of the company considering how much inconvenience and stress I have been caused over this. I have worked in customer service for years and staff I train on the first day are more professional than they are.

Horrible CS experience

"I have been an ArtsCow customer for years, as their promotions are great and the ability to customize is wonderful. However, this last order, I ordered two cosmetic bags, each one personalized different. They were to be given to sisters at the same time. The packing slip showed I ordered correctly, but two of the same name showed up (two different and correct designs but name on back was not correct for one bag). I requested they redo the wrong one, or refund both bags, as I cannot give to one girl without the other. They insisted that I first destroy the merchandise, then they would refund ONE bag. I said that would not work for me; I wanted the refund first, then would be glad to destroy it. They denied refund. I went to PayPal who voted in my favor but then asked me to return the bags to Hong Kong with tracking. I told them thanks but no thanks, that would cost too much. I asked instead if photos of the destroyed merchandise AFTER the refund would suffice, or shipment of the actual correct item could be expedited - I still want what I ordered! PayPal generously is going to refund the items with no penalty to ArtsCow, which bothers me. ArtsCow did the order wrong and aren't penalized?!?! I will never order from them again. Additionally I will find every opportunity to post a negative review. They could have just sent what I ordered, or refunded. Instead they requested I continue to pay for their mistake. Horrible Customer Service."

Contrary to your reply, PayPal did decide in my favor. See attached photo, as well as photo of incorrect merchandise. Your reply was inaccurate and you are either uninformed or untrustworthy. I would just like the correct bag shipped to me, please.

I HAVE REQUESTED THAT YOU REPLACE THE WRONG ITEM. JUST SEND ME THE ANNIE BAG AND I AM HAPPY, AND WILL SEND YOU PHOTOS OF THE DESTROYED BAG. YOU HAVE NOT OFFERED THIS. YOU KEPT OFFERING ME HALF MY MONEY BACK. SEND THE RIGHT PRODUCT WITH NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE AND I WILL BE HAPPY.

FOLLOW UP: ArtsCow is saying they are willing to replace the wrong product if I submit a photo of the item destroyed - which I have done. I will follow up with this review if I receive the correct, ordered merchandise.
