Went to Apple Bees in Hickory NC and the service was not good at all. The waitress took our drink orders and said she would be back to take our food order. Waited 30 minutes and no one even acknowledged my friend and I …. Not again will I eat at this location. There was plenty of dirty tables as well.

Went their on Labor Day with my son and why why did i waist my money? Food was cold and not good at all waitress did what she could but did not see her very much table was sticky asked to clean it did it myself this was my second time and last time I will go their food use to be good and service use to be good what happened? Please figure it out we won't be back until you do no reason why food would've been cold fries ice cold and never received more when asked for not a good experience at all

Tonight 9/4 we had Mateo as our waiter. We were seated next to bar so we saw just how hard this man was working.waiter.bartender.swept floors.he never stopped and oh so pleasant.we thoroughly enjoyed having Mateo take care of us!

The sign on the door said they only had two servers & it would be about a 30 min wait, no big deal it's just my wife & I and were not in a hurry. Once inside he explained the same thing & that would be fine, he started to write out names down so we could wait, I asked if we could be seated, he said no one could even get us water, so I asked if we could sit at the bar, he explained that no one could get us a drink without waiting. There were only about 25 people in the entire place. Applebee's should close the doors, my son said a year ago he waited 45 min before being waited on, said he would never go again. This business is just wasting energy, close the doors.

Ordered online, nachos with no cheese was to pickup at 4:20. I arrived early at 4:10.40,imbues later I final get my food and leave. I got home and discovered all I got was chips and meat. Nothing else. I tired call the restaurant and left 2 messages, never heard back. Finally after 10 days I called corporate and filed a complaint. I received a text message from the manager and we discussed the situation. It was agreed upon I would receive a refund for my meal. She informed me I would have the money deposited back to my bank. A week went by and nothing happened. Again I got a hold of the manager and it is almost another week later and still haven't heard back from corporate on my refund. I am still waiting.

The all you can eat is bogus, my husband and I went to enjoy ans the waitress literally made sure we were finished eating what we had on our plate before ordering us more. We literally had to wait at least 15 between getting more. Who wants to deal with that!? We might return some day

My Waitress Pattie was A-1 she helped me through my order and we had a complicated order she's the best..

I was a the store on Devine street in the afternoon around 130pm. I ordered a Neighborhood burger. The server Sandra was excellent. She was quick and nice. So the burger was 2 small Patty's on a toasted bun. There was 3 small pickles that were yummy. There was wilted lettuce that was disgusting. The burgers were salty. They were cooked properly. Im disappointed in this burger. I've had it before and it was amazing. The price of burger was 15.99 too high. It came with a little bit of fries Disappointed. I wanted to tell you. Every review helps. Thank you.

I've been waiting for almost an hour for my food and B4 I order I was ahead of a big party instead of taking my order first the waitress took their order first and now I'm still waiting an hour later don't go here they don't prioritize

When I go to a restaurant, its to relax, deflate from whatever. The last, and I Mean, the last thing I want is a kid at the bar! Wtf are they thinking, besides what is the parent thinking?! Seriously, what is wrong with you people?! The restaurant had plenty of room everywhere. Even the other couple across from us was making comments along with me and my boyfriend. I totally made the stupid mother feel uncomfortable. What kind of parenting is that?! I have six highly successful kids and it would be a cold day in hell before I would put one of them around a bar full of drinkers. Applebee's totally lost my respect today.

The Applebee's on Devine is poorly cleaned: fruit flies are a constant, carpet smells, windows never cleaned, tables sticky. Tables are frequently not cleaned after party has left. The staff changes constantly and rarely stays for more a two weeks (heard on staff say she doesn't learn anyone's name for 2 weeks since they'll likely leave). Poorly trained. Have gone in several times with only 1 server on the floor and one cook in the kitchen. Manager is never seen - guess he's hiding. One staff lead in particular is always angry and unpleasant. Went in one day and was told they were only doing "to go" since no cooks showed up! All of this and you'd think food and drink would be priced more reasonably (can't even get a draft - warm and all head) - but apparently corporate significantly overvalues the very poor service their restaurant is providing. Perhaps that is also why corporate is putting NO MONEY into improving this very old, rundown Applebee's. Very are good places within 5 minutes drive from this location - go there and avoid this place.

It pop me in my eye it came from. A swizzle chicken plater and the plate was sizzling and it hurt my I eye is swelled up

Kyla Vivgie was a fantastic waitress. She went above and beyond her personality was awesome.
The manager Derrick was professional and good people person

My server went out of his way to make me happy with my meal which was the SW Chicken Bowl,which was very good,where he showed me that he was doing a very good Job,and received a decent tip from me,when service is good Keep up the Good Work Dylan D.

My brother and I had the pleasure of having Amanda as our server and she's a wonderful employee that made our stay enjoyable

My opinion: I rate the cook and Applebee's a zero (0). I ordered two pasta's and both were burnt/charcoal. In my opinion, the cook and Applebee's could care less about the customers, quality of food, presentation, and how they prepare the food. The cook and Applebee's are distasteful/disgraceful individuals. Upon leaving Applebee's, I noticed no customers were patronizing the restaurant and l strongly believe the cars in the parking lot were Applebee's employees. I will not patronize or recommend this restaurant on Tara Boulevard to anybody. The service and food along are reasons to scare the customers away. Employ trained/skilled cooks. Good luck with your terrible cook, non-caring attitude, and company.
