9/12/23: i attempt several in-game purchases that do not go through (goods not received).
9/13/23: apple bills me for ALL attempted purchases for which i received nothing: my bank account gets overdrawn, i get overdraft fees and legitimate bill payments are returned
9/13/23: i make 2 refund requests through apple online service for the transactions that did not go through (note: several transactions before and after the incidents worked fine)
9/14/23:1 request still pending, the other denied (i filed for review right away)
Same day, i call customer service for more information before it is too late and final decisions are made. Here are the answers i got:
1- i dont know why your request was denied
2- i cannot make a decision on refunds
3- i am the highest rank of customer service: i cannot forward your call to someone who can answer or make decisions on your case. Company policies
4- follow the process and wait for decision. But final decision cannot be changed once done
5- i give you the link to the legal services so you can make a complaint (link sends me to read-only terms and services)
I went through 2 phone calls, 2 chats. Same story.
Reading the terms and conditions, i see a provision for technical issues preventing or delaying delibery of goods. In this situation, Apple offers to either deliver the goods or to refund the customer.
Still waiting on either of those …noone i talked to was able to mention this. All they asked is if i tried to resolve this with the vendor, of course I did.
Apple advertizes their apps and vendors, posts their products on their app store. They are proud of the safety and of deleting apps that do not meet standards. Yet they deny any responsibility for what those vendors do. Up to the customer to make their way between Apple terms and consitions, and foreign companies that dont even bother answering issues reported to them.
I am more than a decade long Apple customer. I like their products but the only 2 times i made a complaint, i have been treated like i am trying to steal money from them.

Ordered a new mac and lots of accessories and did a trade-in option so I could get $100 for my air mac which is perfect. Ideally, I'd have liked to drop it for collection at a post office or apple store, however, this isn't an option. You have to pick a day and stay there all day from 9am-6pm so they can collect it. This service is inconvenient but as it was the only option, I took a day off work (which costs me a lot of money to do not to mention VERY inconvenient to be stuck at home and not given a more appropriate window of contact. I picked the day and they confirmed through auto message the day before. I waited LITERALLY all day and they didn't collect it! I was clearly extremely upset about this colossal waste of time! I called their "service" call centre and was on the phone for half an hour as Oscar told me that their "solution" was that I simply rebook and waste another day sitting at home waiting... and what if they don't come again? Then what? I should sit at home for the rest of my life for a measly $100?! The money is so insignificant at this stage, I'm so discussed with the service and the fact that after being on the phone for half an hr, Oscar could only say I should do it again. I told him that they must find a place I can drop it off or otherwise deduct the $100 simply for the MASSIVE inconvenience. I told him he needs to contact me by email and summarise our conversation so we both have a record of the conversation, which I confirmed from him that I'd hear from them in the next day or so... I did - an auto email saying to rebook another day. I'm so horrified with this level of "service," the absolute lack of care shown and their seemingly uncaring team and systems. And they want to target entrepreneurs? I guess we all have the time to just wait all day and if they don't bother collecting it, then just sacrifice another day. I should bill them $1000 for my time as that's the potential loss from their inconsiderate behaviour. If they can't provide the service properly they should remove it as an option! Really really disappointed Apple!

I recently bought an iPhone 6S 128GB Gold (2 months).
First month was ok, then my phone turned off at 30-40% and asked for a charger every time, i used force start with Home+Lock and i could only enter my passcode then it switched off again.
Yesterday, my iPhone fell off my pocket on a bench in a park, i came back within 5 mins and somebody took it and switched it off. I tried to find it with 'FIND MY PHONE' and this is real bull$#*!t, that's why i give 1 star
So the thief turned it off and literally my phone is lost with no chances of recovery, really? FOR a 1000$ phone this is all YOU got?! Tried to contact Apple and still shi. T, went to Police and Carrier shop too maybe i could do something but. Honestly, i'm disgusted off this careless company. Bad grammar bc i got a hangover and stoned too: p
I ordered another 6s gold 128gb because im used to iOS and i dont like android, but their security is bull$#*!, for real. I had pin + passcode + touch id + icloud active + find my phone on, so piss on ur $#*!tyy system
My review may sound very frustrating and that is because Apple has designed obvious loopholes in their system to steal from their customers. Here goes my story with them. I financed an Apple 13 pro and I got Apple Care+ with Theft and Loss which should cover your phone if it is lost. While traveling we were put to sleep and robbed at our Airbnb and our phones were stolen. When I tried to log in to my account, my phone was put into something that Apple calls "Recovery Mode" and they cut my access from my account for 18 days because people who stole it, tried to get into the phone and for security reasons, Apple put my account on such a long non-sense hold. After the 18 days was over, I logged into my account and my device was not showing under my account. Of course the thieves were not sitting around for me to log in and find their location. They either jalbroke my phone, or they took it into pieces and used the hardware.
Here is Apple's loophole. In order to file a lost phone claim, I have to log into my account and put the phone in "Lost Mode" but this is not an option because for no reason my phone had disappeared and does not show on my account. How is that under my control? They are saying that I might have turn the "Find My Phone" option off which I never did. The funny fact is that when you turn that off, Apple sends you an email that the option was turned off. I never received that email and Apple knows that because they keep the record of everything in their system. In the end, Apple is telling me to go F*** myself because of their loophole I cant file a claim and the $1200 phone is gone. What is the point of getting insurance? I am switching from Apple after more than 10 years because their customer service and their ethics of business are disgusting. Apple gave 18 days to the thieves to do whatever they want so I have to go back and buy another phone from them. So unfair, so wrong. The fact is that I have insurance and my phone is stolen from me and the insurance has to cover it. Now the way to file is defined by Apple in a way for them to benefit from this. My case simply has to be filed manually because it is an error on Apple's system for not showing my device.
It sucks that you can't just download free music like an andriod, but I love it. So sleek and it never crashes
