I broke my phone after years of having it. Bought a new one and realized I didn't have my new Apple ID that I was prompted to change multiple times bcus it was in the notes of my old broken phone. I clicked forgot Apple ID which took me down a journey of long wait times, rude customer service reps that don't take notes and hang up on you when they realize they can't help you because they aren't knowledgeable enough.
They ask for the card on file for verification purposes but your Apple ID but Apple Card's don't have the numbers on them. They have an automated process that gives you a day and time 2 to 3 weeks out that they'll text or call you and neither happens. When you call in they tell you to just repeat the process and the same thing happens.
It's been 2 months without access to my contacts or anything associated with my phone and it's looking like a lost cause as I got hung up on by a customer service rep again this morning.
Security is one thing but rude and unknowledgeable customer service is another. Would advise to go with another company as I will be.

Apple trade-in is a scam!

I just traded in a pristine iPad. It had been in a defender OtterBox case since I first purchased it three years ago. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it other than the battery was running down quicker than I would like. I purchased a new iPad and was told my trade-in value would be $180. I just got a new estimate that my trade-in is now $0 because "the display has white spots." There were absolutely no white spots in the display when I sent it to them. I would never have purchased a new iPad if I thought I was going to get $0 for my trade-in. Apple trade-in is a rip off! Beware! They will lie about your trade-in product and there's nothing you can do about it.

Probably no one will do anything about this, but I will make sure to add to yelp and any other platform for others to understand how detrimental your CS is today. Over 2 years I have been trying to change my region in order to be able to add a payment method since I am now in Honduras not the US. The response is, you have a balance unless you use the balance you can not change the region. I was never able to leave my apple balance at $0 because not even making meaningless purchases the balance was always reflecting cents. My workaround buy giftcards to continue my subscriptions.

Now after working it this way for years, I now don't get the option unless I add a payment method which I can not because I can not change the region. Now my icloud is downgraded, i will end up losing my pictures. Your customer services keeps sending me articles that do not solve my problem. I certainly believe that you no longer have real people interacting but bots. I hate this sooo much so frustrated. I am a true apple customer cellphone, watch, laptop, and tablet. So little appreciation for a loyal customer.

Hate where this company is going! I tried to give apple this feedback and they did not allow me to post due to lenght.

My title of my review says it all. It's been 2 days and still not able to have a working phone. I'll be switching to android. My new iPhone 13 pro also didn't come with anything to charge my phone. Which is hilarious when my charging cable from my iPhone XS charged it just fine. Apple is just a money hungry company that thinks they own the industry the phones. Screw them. I'll take my business elsewhere after being a customer for 27 years.

Controlling manipulating narcissistic company, they offer the worst service, admit to slowing your phones capacity, literally have made us all thinks it's normal to have an sd card! They are older then the phones, we always had them why do we let them get away with this power control, their email service isn't even a proper email account you HAVE to use an apple device just to sign into your OWN emails, they are thst controlling they can't let you look at your email, NO OTHER COMPANY IN THE WORLD DOES THIS. Apple wouldn't know the true meaning of innovation of it slapped them in the face all the know is how to deceive and manipulate people, if they are so far ahead why on earth can't the EMAIL be logged into, AOL offered more 15 years ago then apple do today hahaha, don't fall for it they look nice and are easy to use but they even act like they own the phone even when it's yours u can't do anything to it without breaking warranty, BUT ITS YOUR PHONE YOU OWN ALL THE PARTS you don't have thst with car warranty, 'sorry mate they're not the tires that we put in it the warranty is void'

Why do we let these massive companies charge us for products that they act like they still own?!

Apple logo wouldn't go away. Rep dragged me through crap I'd already done. No resolution. Sent me return box w/ bar code was so bad UPS suggested I call to have them email me a new bar code. Told girl I wanted it sent UPS…. She emails me FED-EX. Complete BS. After being an Apple customer for years…thinking of switching.

Be careful! Hundreds of dollars has been taken out of my account without my authorization. When I filed a complaint to dispute the charges, they denied them all except $24.00. And after I filed the complaint. I checked my account again and they had processed 4 more charges!

Since April 1,2022, what was supposed to be a simple bug fix update has turned into a nightmare. The App Review Team and App Review Board have been consistently rejecting my app, the reason being:

"Guideline 4.3 - Design We continue to find that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam."

This is 100% false because my app has unique features not found on other apps on the App Store. My app does comply with the App Store Review Guidelines because it offers unique, high quality features not found on other apps.

Based on their definition of 4. 3. 0, their claim of my app violating 4. 3. 0 is false and not valid.

The strange part is that the supposedly similar apps don't offer the features that my app offers, yet those apps are able to get their app submissions approved (April 2022).

I should also mention that those apps were published after mine. I have already notified them about this. I have provided screenshots, video demos, source code, spoken to the App Review team and the App Review Board, filed numerous appeals and they are still rejecting the app because of 4. 3. 0.

They appear to be ignoring the information I've been providing and are responding to me with generic responses.

At this time, as I have exhausted all options, I've filed a complaint with the BBB and have consulted a lawyer to look at this case. Based on our initial investigation, it is evident that there is anti-competitive practices, selective bias, and unfair treatment going on in the App Store. I should state that this isn't the first time the App Store has been accused of this.

Awful service.

Terrible. Messed up with my order, no help from customer service, supervisor yelled at me.
There are other products on the market. Paying $1000 and getting no attention to your matter is insane. The real cost of the phone is no more than $50. Do I really need it? The answer is NO.

Ipad cracked terribly

If I got a new # I got a free iPhone 13 Pro so I obviously did. They worked with me for over an hour. Super polite the whole time. In end we couldn't solve issue. They decided by whatever time I wanted they would have a senior team meeting and find me a solution and call me whenever I wanted. Who does that? They really felt bad too and wanted to get it fixed ASAP for me
