When we decided to explore senior living options, A Place for Mom was instrumental in guiding us thru the process. All the staff I interacted with were professional, courteous and knowledgeable in where to start. Many recommendations were made with our needs a priority. They kept in touch thru the entire process until we finally made our decision. We highly recommendA Place for Mom!

I saw an ad on Facebook just as we were deciding to move my cousin to a facility closer to our home. They called right away, asking what our needs were and other information for them to help us. After a short conversation, they had places in mind. I quickly got a list of facilities with info on each, including the pricing schedule which is not available on websites. They even made 2 appointments for us! We found one we love on the first visit. I would highly recommend using this service to help you comb through all the information out there.

I reached out and an advisor was assigned immediately. I answered 15 minutes worth of questions based on our family's needs and was given a list of facilities based in our desired ZIP code. My advisor even reached out these facilities who then contacted me inquiring about interest and taking tours of their communities. Daily contact was made for updates. Emails were sent with information and things to consider during the search process. Of the various helpful emails was one that included a PDF checklist of questions to ask when touring facilities. Overall, the help and guidance provided was superb! The place I chose for my 95 year old mom is wonderful. I know it will be an adjustment going from her own home. She was taking care of everything on her own, still driving, doing her own housework, shopping, etc…. I think having three meals provided, housekeeping, all utilities, and many other other amenities will make the adjustment easier.

When I made my initial call, I was treated with respect and compassion. In a short time I was given a list of potential Assisted Living facilities, and four initial tours were scheduled. Within one week we found a wonderful new home for my sister. So very grateful.

I worked with Laurette Snyder. She was very kind and understanding. She provided great information, not just on locations, but other helpful advice regarding relocating mom. She checked in frequently to see how we were doing. We did check out facilities that were not listed on A Place For mom yet she did not try to discourage us from doing so. In the end we did pick a facility from the list. Although it has just been a week, I cannot say enough about the facility we chose. It is clean, the food is good and the staff treat my mother very well. There were a few things about the room that didn't meet her needs as she is very short. The changes were made immediately.
