I can't say enough good things about A Place for Mom—especially my Senior Living Advisor, Wendy. From the very first conversation, she was kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to understand my family's needs and guided us through the entire process with compassion and professionalism. Wendy provided me with excellent options, answered all of my questions, and made what could have been an overwhelming experience so much easier. Her dedication and support truly made a difference in finding the perfect place for my mother. I highly recommend A place for Mom to anyone navigating senior care decisions.

A Place for Mom was a great place to get accurate summary information quickly about independent living places. Laura could helped narrow my search with excellent suggestions in our area. When we decided that my loved one should remain in an area where she currently lives, Laura quickly provided a set of new places to consider. She was always professional, helpful, and very patient as we sorted through issues on our end. We ended up at a place that she listed, and are happy so far with our choice.

We needed to quickly move my mother from post acute rehab to an assistant living facilities that could meet her needs.
They very quickly gave us referrals and set steps in motion. The same day 2 places called me. Another emailed me.
We were able to set up tours and quickly placed her.

They are incredibly responsive, resourceful, so helpful and helped me get my mother in law placed in a great assisted living within 2 weeks of my first call. They all send me other great resources for financial knowledge, veterans benefits and selling her home. I am so grateful to this organization!

I lost my husband in January 2025. Circumstances with my health had me needing to move out of our home. I was totally lost, never thought about moving out. I called A Place for Mom and got a very nice woman (names... can't remember) who gave me a list of places to check. One place she gave me was Brookdale. They have a place just across the highway from where I was living. I went there first and fell in love with it. I checked the other places, there was nothing wrong with them (beautiful properties) but I decided Brookdale was where I was going to move. I'm about half moved (circumstances) and loving living here. A one bedroom place with a kitchen, a small balcony, and they let me have my two Shetland Sheepdogs. I'm actually happy here and meeting a lot of people. I have even told them I will teach a couple of writing classes to residents (both fiction and biography) because I am an author with 5 books out. Thanks to A Place for Mom, I've landed in a good place.

I had no idea where to begin when it came to finding the right place for my dad. Thankfully, Wendy—my designated representative from A Place for Mom—guided me through every step of the process. Her support and expertise made what felt like an overwhelming situation manageable. I truly don't know where we'd be without this service. Because of Wendy and A Place for Mom, my dad is now in a place where he's not only safe, but genuinely happy. That peace of mind is everything.

We started this process over 2 years ago. But my parents wanted to wait. Then a tragedy almost happened. They fell, one by one, and neither could get up, or help each other for over 8 hours. Only by God's mercy, and the lawn care workers that heard them calling out in the morning, did they not have something far worse happed. Once we got to them (1.5 hours away), moved in that day, and had the hard conversations, then they were ready. And a place for Moms was right there. Perfect recommendations. Appointment settings, guidance and help. Everything else when smoothly, and fast. Thank you A Place for Mom!

We needed to find a residence for our 70 year old son. We did not know how or where to begin; we and our son have been living independently, but his needs changed so that a group arrangement would be better.
A Place for Mom made one appointment for us and facilitated in four more. Each one would have been OK, but we were able to select one which suited our son's needs the best.

Beth worked with us and it made my experience a big relief. She organize tours and all we had to do was show up. We had previously tried to do this on our own since December and only became more stressed out with each attempt. It took a professional to take over and she solved the problem for us in a few days. Caroline Ventry is wonderful! She was our advocate and eyes/ears for the whole journey to find an home for my hubby and she continues to help. She shows so much compassion and empathy and understands and guides very well. She helped me keep my sanity with all of the up and down chaos. I'm not sure what we would have done without her guidance. She was excellent with helping to coordinate his move from the hospital to a Senior Living community., She was a lifesaver! Thank you.

A place for mom contacted me through email when I started looking at assisted living facilities. They recommended a few places within our budget and location. They even made an appointment for a tour. We loved the first place they recommended and our family member is already moved in and very happy there.

Tiffanie recommended nice options according to my mother's needs. She further assisted me by providing information on various ways of financing assisting living care. My only issue was that I got phone calls from many different advisors for about a week, although I was already working with Tiffanie.

I have had the opportunity to work with A Place For Mom a couple times as my mother's needs related to dementia care have progressed. Their staff have always been helpful and caring as well as very quick to research and respond with places that meet our needs. It's made such a big positive difference to me in finding the right community for my mom and helping me work through the process during stressful times.
