When you first begin looking at solutions for helping an aging relative find care or a good retirement community, it is overwhelming. A Place for Mom gives you a good list of choices along with additional reviews and insights about each option. I received followup messages on a regular basis but not too often which was good. This process is challenging and at times difficult. A Place for Mom helped in narrowing down the selections.
I am now getting over 25 spam calls a day because they clearly sold my contact information. I will probably have to change my cell number. Unacceptable!
Through out the process of finding the perfect place for my 97 year old dad, the Senior Advisor was extremely helpful, patient and caring. Although my dad was not quite ready to make the advisor reached out to me every few weeks to see how things were going and to offer assistance. I was very pleased with the help and guidance provided by A Place for Mom. Moving an elderly parent is hard on everyone but our experience was made much easier with the compassion and help of our Senior Advisor.
A friend recommended A Place for Mon.
This service suggested to me 5 recommendations for my allowed budget and desired zip codes. Ms. Drury understood my personal needs without being too intrusive. I highly recommend this service to anyone searching for an independent senior living facility. I have successfully found the perfect place to live and have already signed my lease. Thank you again for your excellent service.
I never heard of "A Place For Mom" until I started to search on the internet for senior living options. I am so grateful that I found this service. This web page certainly caught my eye and if you are looking for a senior living option, this is a must and you will be happy that you did.
We needed to find an assisted living facility for our 97 year old mother in a very short timeframe and didn't even know where to start. After speaking with Ashley Erdman for over 30 minutes about our mother's needs, she identified a number of places for us to visit and even scheduled the tours for us. Ashley was extremely helpful and responsive and really helped us navigate through the process. We found a great place for mom and she's settling in well.
I remembered seeing their television ads and needed help in a hurry. A Place for Mom was an answer to our prays!
I called A Place for Mom when my mother in law needed help after a fall. They quickly put me in touch with home health care providers. They also asked me questions about locations and sent me some suggestions for assisted living places for me to visit and tour. The person who was assigned to help me was very kind and called to check on me and see how things went. I liked how they had information they could share with me.
A friend of mine recommended them to me.
I went online to the website, answered a few questions, and within 30 minutes or so I was getting a call. The case manager was very helpful in finding places that were is my desired distance. He emailed me several places and I could look at pictures and get some useful information. The same day, representatives from the places that was sent to me called me to answer any questions. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We were able to get my dad into a wonderful facility within 7-10 days.
My dad requested me to contact them after seeing the commercial.
The lady that helped me was soooo helpful. Hospital's sometimes do not even give you a warning when they will release your loved one, and that becomes a precarious situation when that person cannot take care of themselves. To this day I ask myself: What if my mom would have been all by herself? Good luck we are done goodbye? The case manager at the hospital gave me a number and what a godsend. Multiple locations for ALF's were given with contact persons.48 hrs later all was set, and we had a solution to a situation that seemed dire. Thank you again.
I believe the big man upstairs had a hand in it. :)
Susan Waller was a Godsend! I was fortunate enough to be put in touch with Susan when I called for some information. She was amazing. She helped me navigate the numerous options and narrow down the properties that fit our needs and budget. She even scheduled the tours. We found the right fit and were able to get my mother in law moved into a community that she's loving.

I can not possibly say enough good things about Rose. She was wonderful, compassionate, and gave me some great advice. When things like this happen, no one knows what to expect if you haven't been through it. It's difficult, but thank you again Rose for making a tough time a little bit easier.
Recommended by a good friend who had to figure out how she was going to help her mother. After A Place for Mom walked her through so many ways she could get assistance she knew I could use the same help
I contacted A Place for Mom to get help finding a local memory care facility. Laura Berg was my consultant, and she was a wonder.
She was sympathetic and even remembered all the details about my situation. She walked me through the process and recommended many facilities for me to visit and evaluate. She rated them and was spot on with her assessments.
I would have been overwhelmed if I didn't have Laura as a resource.
They were the first to respond to my email.
As soon as I checked in with A Place For Mom I felt so much support and ready to make good decisions for my family. Joe Dempsey was helpful setting up interviews and checked in with me on a regular basis. It was a light in the forest of assisted living options. Thank you. My Mom and Dad and my siblings are pleased with Brookdale on Skeet Club Rd in High Point NC.
Yes Brookdale in High Point, NC.
My family member who was widowed and had no children was recently diagnosed with dementia. We live about 9 hours away but were the closest family member in both distance and relationship, so we needed to find suitable assistance for his care.
I co rates a Place for Mom and spoke with a dept who was very patient and answered several of my questions while offering a variety of alternatives.
I was extremely pleased with the services and was able to find the services that fit best for our family member.
I submitted a Google question for the area and chose several to contact.
I had dealings with Amanda and I just can't say enough about her. She is a very kind person that looks out for your best interest. She guided me throughout the process of finding a suitable place for my parents. I would've never known what to look for in my search without her I would've been very lost, and I believe that everything worked out perfectly with her help.
A Place for Mom saved me! I had to find a memory care facility for my 94 year old mother in a short period of time after she broke her arm and went downhill in the hospital and rehab. I was trying to look on my own and not having any luck (and I was distraught because before this I had been taking care of her at my home for years).
A Place for Mom sent me numerous options right away and set up the tours for me! I found a great place right away and mom is very happy there!
While living 2000 miles away from my aunt, I wanted to make sure I researched many independent living facilities that could fulfill her needs before making the trip. My advisor (Mike) was very helpful in lining up numerous options and helping me to narrow the choices. My aunt is very happy with where she is living now.
They were able to help me narrow down the numerous options available and really did a lot of the legwork for me.
I put in a request to get some recommendations for a memory unit for my mother in law. Due to the fact that she was being forced from where she was currently staying, I needed help fast. I spoke with Daniela Leone who was amazing. She put us in touch with several facilities, and even got us in for a visit the same day. We were able to reserve a spot right away and she followed up with us several times after just to make sure everything was running smoothly.
Heard about it on the internet
This company is not trustworthy. From the beginning it was a bad experience followed by call after call from more than one number. I would never trust a company like this with my parents care when they start out with lies and harassment.

I needed a place to start and some frame of reference on how good a retirement community might be. A Place for Mom gave me a list to start with based on our discussions and then refined it as the search went on. I also knew I could ask for additional help if I needed it along the way.
Luis provided excellent customer service each and every time I called. He was so flexible to research new options as our needs changed. It has been such a support working with him!
It was recommended as a great agency by just about everybody I spoke with.
I was really overwhelmed with finding a suitable place for my mother and A Place for Mom was an absolute God send. They put me in touch with the people I needed to get in touch with, they scheduled tours for me, provided important checklists to follow to help me choose which facility was best and they stayed in contact with me through out the entire process. I would have been completely lost without them. There were never any fees to me or my mother and no hidden gotcha's. I highly recommend their service.
Because I was overwhelmed with the search process and really needed help from professionals to help guide me through it.
My experience with this service has been delightful. They understand and are equipped to help you find the best possible placement for your loved one.
Saw the advertisement.
I learned much with the articles and information shared. My worker was very thorough and did a great job relating info to the facilities I looked at and helping me find the right area I was looking for. She found facilities that had special needs for my parents as well, like oxygen. She followed up with me and the facilities to make sure we found the right fit. She was very supportive to me and my many issues both with family and personal issues I was experiencing. The support was very much appreciated!
Seen it on TV and knew I needed to start somewhere!
Donna with A Place for Mom was awesome. She explained things, gave me so much information and tools, answered all my questions, gave me suggestions, and sent me information on some places to look at for my mom. I could not have done this search without her and greatly appreciate her help, and A Place for Mom. Wonderful company and very kind caring people!
I found it while looking online for different places in my area.
So helpful to get the ball rolling, setting up tours, and answering questions. Plus Josh was available when I was to talk, text, or email. Thanks for everything.
I was overwhelmed at the thought of everything that had to happen when I saw an ad on late night television.
A Place for Mom helped me and my family find in home caregivers for my father during the last 3 months of his life. They connected me with several agencies that could offer the high level of hands-on care that he needed. I was able to interview 5 different agencies before choosing the provider that worked with my Dad. A Place for Mom and the agency they helped us found allowed us to keep my father at home during the end of his life, surrounded by his children, familiar voices, and high-quality care givers.
I heard about them from advertising.
As soon as we called A Place For Mom they went in to action finding our family the best places. They started off with five to check out and even set up appointments with each facility. The agent was in contact frequently calling to check on us and to answer any of our concerns. Our family was so thankful for all their love and tremendous support.
Our family did not know where to start after we were aware of my mother's need for assistance. My husband was researching on the internet when he saw A Place For Mom. He called them and they answered right away. The next day she had appointments set up for our family.
