I called not knowing what to ask, where to look
The process was easy, I felt confident when I viewed communities
They help was wonderful and it made the looking and decisions much easier
Wendy called me even before I've finished filling out the request for information form. We spoke for 30 minutes, explain the situation, and she found in ACL And got us an Appointment for the next morning. We arrived at the facility were greeted warmly, and signed a monthly lease within an hour.
Without Wendy, we would probably still be looking.
Megan was very caring and listened to the specific needs of my mother. She was very prompt in making the appointment for me and checking back to see how it went. This is the second time i have used a Place for Mom. They made sure I had Megan again the second time. I found this very comforting.

I went online to search for independent senior living, as I de idea it was time to sell my home and downsize. A Place for Mom.was the first link I clicked on, more out of curiosity. After reading their information, I gave them my contact information and received a phone call. By the end of that phone call, I had 4 senior apartment possibilities to call. They continued to help me refine my wish list and with their assistance, I found the perfect place for me...at no cost. A place for Mom is an amazing resource!

I joined, got called immediately for what help I required, then contacted by those fitting my need, landing in my first placement. When required again, since requirements changed, contacted again for what I needed and then again provided options, in which I believe I'm all set.

My family wasn't getting much help at all with regards to how to provide for our mother after her stroke. Fortunately I remembered about A Place for Mom and gave them a call on an early Saturday morning. The person who answered my call was kind and knowledgeable and helped me see some light at the end of the tunnel. Then I was guided to more help and had appointments for viewing places where our mother could live that were near me and fit her profile of needs. A Place for Mom made this process so much easier and they continue to support the family with emails full of tips and help and I know I can call at any time. I seriously do not know what we would have done without this service! Thank you!

I've worked with a Place for Mom on five separate occasions now, and in each case I've been overwhelmingly pleased! They advocate for you, offer support, schedule appointments and are kind and compassionate. You may wonder why I've had so many instances in working with A Place for Mom? I've made more than one long distance move and needed assistance with keeping my mother-in-law close by. In addition, my parents developed a need for assisted living and A Place for Mom provided options. Unfortunately, there ended up being a need to separate my parents and ultimately, I found a place for my Dad. Currently, we are working to relocate my Dad to be closer to us. Yet again, A Place for Mom helped us find a perfect place suited to my Dad. Overall, I could have never done all of this on my own. A Place for Mom offered knowledge, compassion, and a sense of relief to me in some very difficult times. I would always recommend A Place for Mom, whether you feel like you need help or not. They share their knowledge and experience, making the whole process of finding the perfect place for your loved one a peaceful one.
We were very fortunate! My sister-in-law and I went to visit one assisted living and found it to be a good fit for her brother! You can't get any better than that. I had been trying for months to get my brother-in-law into assisted living. When he wound up in the hospital again, I looked online to get help and found a place for mom. My advisor Latonya was just terrific. She quickly gathered the names of facilities for us to tour. After a visit, I spoke with Latonya to provide my thoughts so she could keep me on the right path.
The good news is today I found just the right place, cost, and most importantly environment. I don't think I could have done it without her!
After answering a few questions, they were able to guide me in finding the right place for my grandfather after multiple attempts of searching on my own with no success. Made contacting the correct people a breeze instead of going through multiple people and leaving message after message.
My picking August Healthcare of Richmond was the best decision that I have ever made for my continued health care. The entire staff is extremely special, so caring, helpful and extremely respectful that I had to pinch myself just to make sure that I hadn't zoned out 🤣! I wish I had made this move years ago. Tag on the web; along with 12 other sites, reduced to 3/4, gave info for further info & picked the right fit for me. I ended up with a referral from another organization, which turned out to be a perfect fit.
The thought of searching for an assisted living facility for my dad seemed like a daunting task at the beginning. A friend recommended I reach out to A Place for Mom. Once I connected with Chris, the entire process was very easy from the start. He helped identify several communities in the area and was constantly in communication with us every step of the way.
