I have four children. Apex 4 Kids has been a great investment. Caleb Maddix has taught my children the importance of people skills, having good habits, discipline, and staying positive. My kids love the program and watch daily videos everyday in addition to their school curriculum. Caleb Maddix has inspired and motivated my oldest child to write his own book. The program is extremely effective if used on a daily basis.
I've paid for membership but I could not access any of it. When i send an email notifying them, they ignored it. This has become an appalling untrustworthy company. I actually believed that these videos may help my son and now they're just scammers.
They make it VERY difficult to cancel! This must be part of their model. Shame on them for ruining this kids name by making their business so untrustworthy. Do not buy!

Signed up about 8 months ago, haven't received anything from them since last year, the money just keeps going off. Sent a message to their customer service email but looking at these reviews it seems I'll go unanswered or unable to do anything about this.

I've spent 9 months trying to unsubscribe and cancel. This is an unethical scam and poor business practice. The idea is great- if it was a legitimate company with values and good practices it could have done much better.
We did receive the videos for Caleb but my son hated them as he found him very "fake". I should have asked for my money back in 30 days and set a reminder for this but I hoped my son would come around and then I forgot about it.
A year later I was charged for a renewal without notice, if I had not been going through my credit card statement I would not have noticed. When I asked for a cancellation and repayment of the second amount of money I was denied the option. I am now waiting to see if they will charge me again next year! Hopefully my credit card will expire before they can do this too many times...

My 9 year son likes the videos but he is starting to get bored. I was hoping it would be more like the youtube videos that they are doing challenges but put the learning into it. Its obvious that its a learning video and I lose my son right away, he enjoys them but is not really excited to tune in. Maddix is a bright kid and he's doing a lot of wonderful things. I love the concept and what he is trying do fo the youth. I love his energy and I find it motivational but the videos are supposed to be for my son not me. =)

The product is fine, but my child lost interest. We also never received the PRINTED books we were promised when we signed up (no not digital). I know that I did not sign up for auto pay because I don't do that. They charged me 10 months after our last login and when I called they said I was a few days past the point of being able to request a refund. What awful customer service. I will be disputing this with my credit card.

I got APEX 4 KIDS for my youngest son over a year ago. We NEVER received everything we requested. Since we were moving I 'let it slide', so to speak. Two days ago I received a notification that my card was debited again from these people! I had to discontinue my card and get a new one while I'm disputing these charges. I can't speak to the veracity of Caleb Maddix but someone there is crooked! Very disappointed with the program!

I joined up for my son. He was not interested in it, sadly, as I think it is motivational. However, cancelling payments is another story, emails ignored and logging in not working. Not one email to let me know that monies would be taken and no emails from this company at all, for information on what I am paying for.
Be very careful putting your details in, I thought it was a one off payment but it is not, this is the second yearly payment taken without permission.

$26 a month is way too much for this and you can't revoke your subscription like on any professional subscription service through your personal page but you have to send an email and wait till they confirm it...

It's a shame about the way this company operates. I joined up a year ago and watched the videos with my daughter. Caleb has done a good job of creating the videos but appears to have become a victim of his own success. I had a new annual charge appear on my credit card. I didn't authorise it and now am tasked with trying to get a refund from their hopeless customers service' team. They are holding my card details without my permission so now I have to cancel my card and get a replacement one. Refund policies etc on their signup site go to a broken link. It's a shame as its good what Caleb is doing but he's not managing his business which is a sign of immaturity despite how strong he is on the personal growth side.

I signed up for this membership but was overcharged and disappointed with the product. I have been trying to cancel every sense and I'm still being charged to this day. There is non-existent customer service as I have sent many emails and never received a response. The phone number given to reach customer service just has a message stating that no agents are available to take calls. This is super disappointing and illegal.

I have emailed them but no response just like last year. Calling my bank now to see what can be done - not happy - SCAM - so sad.

Felt what caleb was doing was a worthy cause. Signed up as an affiliate, paid $1 for ebooks (didn't say if it was a recurring payment or trial). I didn't get any email receipt detailing I've paid and what I've paid for. I don't have access to the ebooks or materials. I've reached out via live chat, emailed support and no response. I'm really disappointed as I wanted to promote caleb and felt he had a worthy calling. Now I'm worried that my credit card will be continuously charged like what the other reviews said.

I signed up last year and was very disappointed with the video in the link that I received which was and old video and very loud. No helpful. I tried to contact customer service to CANCEL and I wasn't able to. The links were no working and emails were not delivered. I gave up and tried to forget about it. BUT This year they charged my credit card again without authorization. I am working with my bank now to get this resolved.

I wish I had read These reviews before I signed up, because these people are fraudulent.
I signed up because I thought it would be a benefit, but unfortunately my kids found it boring. When you sign up, watch the automatic renewal button which is conveniently ticked for you or just part of the actual subscription terms, because after I wrote off the fee for the year, they took more money out another year later. When I contacted them a day later to refund the amount, because we don't use the account, they refused. After 6 emails demanding a refund they consented to half, so unfortunately I'm still in battle for the rest of it. Completely disgraceful company with no ethics or customer service skills. We signed up to this program two months ago. First of all, I never received a confirmation and had to contact the support to get my password and be able to access the platform.
Then we realized that our kids were not interested in watching the videos, main reason: they are not native English speakers and Caleb speaks VERY fast, so they got frustrated as they couldn't understand much. So I contacted the support team again on August 17th to ask them to cancel the suscription, as on the platform, there is no option to cancel. As I didn't receive an answer, I contacted them again on August 24th, but did not receive an answer either. Yesterday (September 9th) I saw on my bank account that we got charged again. I'm SOOO disappointed! And now I just found this website here and read all the bad reviews and I TRULY hope, this will be solved soon and that I don't need to call my lawyer.
EDIT:
After sending a third email, I finally got an answer with a confirmation that the account was cancelled and that we will receive a refund for the last month. (They even answered on a Saturday, outside their business hours) AND I also found the place where one can actually cancel the subscription. This was not available on the member's area, but I found it, after researching a lot, in a reply of the Apex 4 Kids teams of a bad review on another site. First the site was blocked as the server detected it as not trustworthy, but after accepting anyway, I managed to access it.
I still only give 3 stars as the experience with them until now has not been very positive, but thank you for solving the issue!

I was very excited to receive this service. Have paid for it for 3 months now and have not been able to access the site or any videos or anything not even once. The support team does not respond or help. It can't recognize my email or password but also won't send me a new password or any kind of email or information to help reset it. It is over all very disappointing! I wanted to give this an honest try for my son but it just seems like a scam that gives you the run around and takes your money. Sad =(

This company is fraudulent. They store credit card information and use it without permission. A "free trial" has only been headaches, emails that claimed yes indeed I had cancelled are now only saying that I won't pay going forward. Incredible that a company that promotes young people and success has this bad of ethics. Had I realized what was in store for only trial a free trial, I would have run the other way. No service recovery.

I would not spend any money on these people, they have charged me over $100USD which is a lot in Australian dollars when I had tried to cancel my annual subscription. To cancel their subscription is like a maze that takes you nowhere and no one answers customer care email. So I was charged and I was so annoyed it was also during covid lock downs when I had little money. I emailed immediately saying I do not want to be a member any longer and to refund the money that I had already requested not be charged. A week later they responded and said they won't refund and didn't answer any of my questions. I wrote again and complained this time. Again they didn't address any of my questions and said that they were basically doing me a favour by refunding 50%. I was so upset and disappointed and insisted they repay all my money, they refused and didn't answer any more of my emails. They also delete complaint messages on their FB as I had screenshot many others in the same situation. They are crooked. Don't go there.
