My oven glass hob broke and I bought a new oven from them. The service was so good, convenient, easy, trackable, contactable. Don't know what other word to use but with how impressed I am but WOW springs to mind. Other company's can definately take note of this company! I was that impressed I bought a new fridge, freezer and dishwasher from them!
The 2 delivery guys were very polite, courteous and went full out to get the freezer exactly where I wanted it put. Considering neither the front or back door were wide enough to get it in, they went to a lot of trouble to get it through our back garden gate and in through the patio doors. Again they faced the same problem, door to utility room not wide enough so they very kindly unpacked the freezer to get it through to utility room door and they did so without a problem and no extra cost to me.
I am one very happy customer and would % recommend them Well done to the two gentlemen
Ordered washing machine that was 'in stock' to be delivered next day. 3 days and many lies later they finally tell me that it's not in stock and I'd have to pick another.
I'd already lost 2 days work waiting for them so wasn't going to let them mess me around any longer. Refund took 5 days.
Will never use again and would advise anyone else not to either

Bought this Candy integrated tumble dryer for my new kitchen. Only good thing about it is where the water holder is located on the door. It takes hours to dry clothes no matter what the setting is. Even if your clothes are a little damp it still takes hours. Dreading my electric bill! It is quiet so that's ok I guess.
It's expensive appliance with a crap performance. I don't have the time to wait hours for washing to dry. Our house is a busy house with lots of washing daily.
Regret buying this product. We couldn't even use it as an integrated had to get the joiner to put a piece of wood on the end panel and fix the door to that.
So a complete waste of £450!
Been told to ring back within the hour to confirm my delivery for next day and if I didn't ring by 11 I won't have a delivery. Rung for half hour and they ended my call, ringing again and still nothing, to then be told I had to wait another 5-10 days! Yet this company know I have nothing in my flat to live on!
I placed my order, made payment through PayPal and they sent order for delivery the next day. They recalled the item back before it was delivered but couldn't tell me why. I am told I will not receive my order but I am now expected to wait for my refund 3-5 days - I would expect an immediate refund! I will not be placing any more orders with them steer clear.
Utterly abysmal customer service. Told us at 6pm the day before they were due to deliver a fridge freezer at 7am that they couldn't deliver. Contacted the company - told they couldn't deliver for another 8 days. This is just before Christmas. No offers of what they could do otherwise, representative just kept repeating that my options were: (i) refund; (ii) deliver on 29 Dec; or (iii) find an alternative which may get here in time. Offered free delivery and installation (ie £30) as compensation. When asked whether we could get some other alternative, was told not possible "due to company policy". Unable to explain why the issue occurred.
Avoid if you want your item delivered on time.

Common gripe with this firm. Takes orders/ money and then no notification that item now out of stock and not out for delivery. I took a days holiday off work to stay home all day waiting for an item that was never coming and taking a total two hours trying to get through to find out why it hadn't turned up. They then try to upsell. Workers on commission?
Quick to take my order - slow to resolve a problem of their making. Still waiting for them to contact me to let me know when I can expect them to sort the problem out. Am considering whether to seek legal advice
Rang customer service and spoke to two people but the second lady was so rude. She told me to stop ringing there number and while I was talking just banged me straight throught to another line. She said I would keep going to the back of the queue whuch is fair enough but her tone and dont care attitude left a lot to be desired. Annoyed second appliance I have purchased from AO is causing me grief, Will be going to john lewis next time. And spend my money there.
Their technician and customer teams are a JOKE! I got a washing machine, got it fixed by their team and I had a flood in my apartment (and my downstairs neighbor's flat). They're just taking the money and are totally clueless. AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Too much time wasted to write much but avoid Haier machines and avoid AO. On machine 3, so many days off work, engineers don't turn up or do but make it worse and then customer has to go back and mess around. The given voucher to say sorry but wasted time on chat and with phonecall and can't use it. Try to complain online and cut off after divulging more GDPR info than I share with my neighbours!
I work nights, sat up untill 13.00 on the 31. 5. 21 before I had an email telling me my cooker would not be delivered at 13.10. I rang and was told it would not be delivered untill 6. 6. 21. It's disgusting, they took the money out of my account on the day of ordering, it will be 2 weeks on Saturday that I ordered and hopefully will receive my cooker. I can't recommend this company at all.
The price is always higher than the market price not to mention the Worst customer service you can expect. After purchasing over the phone (because of the scam of matching the price) they took all my card details and got approved over the phone. They deducted the amount then canceled the order purchase without giving a valid reason putting me on chat and phone calls for more than 4 hours. The funny thing is the same device is even £50 more than it was 2 days ago, which makes it £100 more than it is any other vendor and they admit that. There is more to say about their customer service or system.
I ordered a new fridge for my elderly father. We paid extra for next day delivery, as his fridge had broke. He stayed in all day, having been told it would arrive between 3 and 7pm. He was unable to have his evening meal as he thought they would arrive whilst he was preparing it. When I checked at 7pm they had revised his delivery time to 8-10pm-10pm for a white goods delivery-appalling! At 10pm he still had not received it, and the delivery driver was on his way back to the depot and failing to answer his phone. No-one bothered to get in touch with him or me to advise what was happening. Its now the next day and still no-one has been in touch. Awful customer service, will never use them again
I bought a tumble drier from ao.com after having had a hideous experience buying from Currys... the experience couldn't have been more contrasting. Ao.com were efficient and quick to deliver, their delivery guys were well presented and friendly and the tumble drier that they delivered was well packaged, pristine and worked perfectly. Well done ao.com for getting it right.
