Placed an order with this useless company and they didn't deliver the item to me, i contacted them and they told me the item was not even loaded onto the van and the only other delivery slot they had available was 5 days later, this was supposedly a priority delivery slot that normally costs £25 to book! It's now 5 days later and hours past the delivery time and after waiting in all day there is still no sign of the delivery, their driver tracker is useless also. Never again will i use this company.
Ordered a fridge freezer for deliver between 7am and 7pm. I received a text the day of the delivery advising that it would be delivered between 12 and 4pm. 4pm came and no delivery had been made so I rang the number advised and it told me my delivery could be up to 7pm. 7pm and still no delivery. When i finally got through ti customer service I was advised that my order had not gone out and would not be available for another 2 months. A whole day wasted sat in the house waiting for my delivery.
I work nights, sat up untill 13.00 on the 31. 5. 21 before I had an email telling me my cooker would not be delivered at 13.10. I rang and was told it would not be delivered untill 6. 6. 21. It's disgusting, they took the money out of my account on the day of ordering, it will be 2 weeks on Saturday that I ordered and hopefully will receive my cooker. I can't recommend this company at all.
Truly awful service from this company - waited in only to get call from their customer service stating driver turned back because he was worried about an overhanging tree at property despite no such tree existing. Sounds to me like Typical Friday afternoon wanting to finish early excuse. Will never use these people again.

I have brought AirPods Pro and AO has sent wrong item. They have replied telling me that I should go to the police because according to their investigation right item have been sent.

The dishwasher which used less than 9 month from A.o.com has to be repaired and part exchanged today. The warranty comes for any electrical product and it's not something additional they do for customer. 400 pound spent and now to keep me quiet 30 pound voucher offered. The item they sold was faulty regardless of repair. The item used for short periods doent have to go through part exchange
Second hand crap for a full price
Ordered karcher k3 power control. Received it the very next day but as soon as I took it out of box it leaked all over my carpet. It has scratches all over. Obviously someone was unhappy with it and sent it back and they sent it to me. I've sent them an email right away but no response whatsoever in 4 days. I obviously decided to sent it back and now I have to stay at home all day and wait for someone to pick it up. What a major waste of time. Super disappointed. Definitely won't be ordering from them ever again. Rubbish company with rubbish customer service.
Returns are very difficult. If you do not like the product and want to return, they deduct 50% cost and you pay the shipping.
The price is always higher than the market price not to mention the Worst customer service you can expect. After purchasing over the phone (because of the scam of matching the price) they took all my card details and got approved over the phone. They deducted the amount then canceled the order purchase without giving a valid reason putting me on chat and phone calls for more than 4 hours. The funny thing is the same device is even £50 more than it was 2 days ago, which makes it £100 more than it is any other vendor and they admit that. There is more to say about their customer service or system.
I called and placed an order, they price matched John Lewis for me. Delivery was booked and i received an email to tell me the time window. I checked their tracking system half way through this time window, the system did not recognise my telephone so it asked me to input my order number, it did not recognise this either. I called and waited 10 minutes in a queue, then was told the driver could not find my property (the first driver in 8 years of living here that could not!) then got told they had taken my mobile number down incorrectly. Simple solution... turn the driver around? NO, get told that you have to wait another 3 days for it to be redelivered (the same time as if it were a new order) They did give £20.00 in compensation for a waste of a whole day (not sure what hourly rate they work on, an insult is an understatement) This is the first time I have used ao.com and will certainly be the last. I should have gone with John Lewis in the first place and had my old machine taken away and a second year warranty free of charge. Lesson learn't, stick with those who value their customers and react better than ao.com when things go wrong. Steer well clear of this company.
Ordered £600 washing machine and dishwasher. Website said order failed card declined. Did it again, same thing, so tried a third time, same thing checked bank they had taken £1800!
Bank refunded. Rang them they said we have not recieved funds. So ordered over phone different card different bank. Yep they took the money and said card declined, we dont have the money. Now in dispute trying to get money back, no apology no good. Dont use this company.
AO.com is a great example of an entrepreneur coming good. If its origins are to be believed, the founder made more than good on his promise and deserves everything he's achieved, yet I understand he's still "one of the lads".
I have used ao.com since 2013 to replace my failing white goods, not only because of competitive prices but that's also coupled with great customer service. My whole kitchen and utility room appliances have now been replaced since I moved in in 1995, the latest being an original integrated freezer. First installed in 1995! It was delivered on time, the delivery guys were polite and helpful and the post Christmas discount was very acceptable. Unfortunately, when I came to install it, sadly a vital part was missing. I contactes ao.com and spoke to Pierce, who immediately contacted the manufacture BOSCH, which arranged to send out the missing part but! Said it could take a week or more! This was at 17.30 today, Monday. When I expressed my concern at this further delay, it's difficult in these Covid times being without a freezer, he very quickly responded and arranged a complete new freezer to be delivered Wednesday morning.

Avoid Completely / Unacceptable After Sale Service.
I Purchased an Hotpoint Gas Cooker, a toxic odour fume like smell that was advised by thier installer that it's a new oven smell that will go away after 1 hour. Unfortunately this was not the case as it went on for 10 days untill I had enough of the constant toxic & suffocating fume when the oven and grill section is switched on. As I felt this was not right I contacted AO who directed me to the manufacturer Hotpoint to arrange a repair which was not needed as Nation Grid had attended to cap off the cooker due to high CO2 leakage being the cause of the fume and feeling of suffocation. After hours long complaint conversation, due to AO low stock as a result of covid-19 stock delivery, I was offered a very low end new cooker that I really did not want and had to wait 5 days for the delivery with out not being able to cook any hot food for the whole household and shell out money for home food deliveries
I was not compensated or provided a temporary cooking hot plate to use for a family household with minors during covid -19 lockdown for the days between when first cooker purchased and replacement was delivered and installed 5 days later.
It was a very terrifying ordeal to have not only been using a oven with high density of Carbon Monoxide filling up the property with children which was very toxic but to also not even be compensate for the discomfort or nuisance of having to find other means of making hot meal during the Luckdown.

Can not fault this company. Ordered a 65" Phillips tv had a fault exchanged now 3 times as each one had similar fault. Now had a full refund. AO throughout have been fantastic always helpful delivery teams friendly. Although the actual product was useless AO service was spot on
Lies to consumers! Will never price match and they deliver false promises! Awful sakes staff!. The price promise guarantee is lies so please do yourself a favour and do not give them your money!
Ordered a 65 Hisense and paid got a delivery date for which i paid extra delivery failed to show when we phoned they said the problem with delivery so changed the order and delivery promised on a new date again delivery failed to show customer service poor getting my money back and going elsewhere i will not be using them again
Problems with a leaking washing machine. 5 repairs which last a few weeks before it leaks again. AO will not take responsibility and simply pass on to the manufacturer.
Answer: Phoned them and I had a 55min call waiting time. Not willing to wait that long I hung up
