SIte supports child groomers but not people telling kids to be ware, banned me once for giving my info but i never did it again... now im perm banned month later

I HATE ANIMAL JAM CLASSIC. EVERYTHING IS LOCKED BEHIND A PAYWALL, LEAVING BARELY ANYTHING FOR NON-MEMBERS. JUST THIS MORNING, I SPUN THE REWARD WHEEL AND GOT TWO FREE RARE ITEMS FROM THE GAME. THEN, WHEN I ACTUALLY TRY TO WEAR THEM, IT TELLS ME THAT ONLY MEMBERS CAN WEAR RARE ITEMS. WHY DID IT EVEN GIVE ME THEM IF IT'S JUST GOING TO TELL ME I CAN'T WEAR IT? THE GAME ITSELF ALSO RUNS REALLY SLOWLY, RENDERING IT ALMOST UNPLAYABLE IF THERE'S TOO MANY PLAYERS.

If you have no idea what Animal Jam is, it is basically a online game. I've been playing animal jam for literally 4 years now. When I first played I thought it was a very fun game. About 60% of the den and clothing items you can get are for members but I didn't mind. I was playing for fun and it seemed like a very decent game, me and my sister played it together. 1 year later both of us got membership. And the both of us always loved animal jam. But I obviously noticed the bad side. Many scammers and very mean players. The chat filtering was so bad, since I didn't have free chat I couldn't even say numbers. As usual I just let it slide. I admit I was bored after 3 years because Animal Jam barely updates anymore. It is just the same thing repeated year by year. And the content is for kids and kids only. So why not I take a break? I know many other online games! A month later I logged onto my account, I was hacked. Such a waste of 3 years of my life and my money. Not like I can do anything about it. Ugh life goes on, and you have to move along with it.

To sum it up, it's any typical game

At first, I was absolutely in LOVE with this game. But when I got more into the social part and sighned up rather then being a guest I started to notice a lot of scamming and bullying as well as inappropriate talk and actions. I definitely don't recommend this game for any kids. All the scammers, bullies, and over aged people playing this game have completely ruined the original purpose which was to educate kids on animals and nature. I stopped playing this game and if you are playing it you should stop immediately. This game is a mind consuming game full of mean people.

If you are an animal lover, then this is the good place for you! My son Andrew signed up for Animal Jam for his personal experience, and believe it or not he is IN to animals. The downside of this game is causing a bunch of lags especially when the friends were logging on. Despite, having many features for member, he still enjoy it very much. If you're wondering he has his own wolf with some cool glasses. I recommend this for only animal lovers but be aware if you have a very old computer, you might upgrade one for our strandars,

I loved this game when I used to play a few years ago. But there are some languages that aren't okay-kids find ways to work around the chat system restrictions and there are some very inappropriate content. When on this site I would often worry about what others thought of me- I know, but there are many bullies. I would often be disgusted by the facts that every time I would walk out into anywhere, really, there would always be those gross jammers who would be mating. Disgusting. That's pretty gross. So, yeah, 9 and up.

Please DON'T sign your child up. We were having problems with my daughters account, there are males on there that were writing her inappropriate things so we wanted to change her username and transfer her items, that she has has been working on for 3 years. Should be simple, right? 40 messages back and forth with customer support and they cut off her account for over week. I complained to paypal because her membership that we paid for was cut off. Without warning, they BANNED her account after 3 years of paid subscriptions and her building up items. Your child means nothing to this company but money. Don't do it, there are pedophiles on there stalking kids, your child will get addicted and there is no educational value from this game.

Animal jam is a fantastic game! Overall theres bullies hackers scammers etc. its still a super good game! I have 550 friends on there! You should sign up ur child, the more fun the better! Sign up ur child for free! And dont complain about membership cuz thats what keeps the game running!

This is an amazing game. All the people that complained about their kids getting scammed have no idea what's going on. It's pretty much impossible to get scammed unless you are a complete idiot. The chances of getting hacked are 1/100, no joke unless you piss a hacker off. There are ways to express yourself, and I met a really nice friend through aj. For those people who were concerned about profanity, the game has changed so any hint of aj mating is punishable by banishment. A warning to all that start out; ajhq is slowly trying to destroy the rare system, as it is the cause for 99% of scams. Thank you, and play wild!

I have 3 accounts I monitor my children while on this site because a lot of the other bully and talk dirty. My account gets suspended every month as soon as I press pay first because my child made a name for a school so it was suspended for almost a month second it was suspended because my child refused a trade for her rare item they said it was a scam third they closed the account with no reason my child hadn't even played it for a week as soon as I pressed pay surprise can't play this account it is ridiculous the responses they give are not valid they just want your money you can't even buy good stuff unless you are a member what does that tell you they are only after profit

The only bad part of this is that overprotective parents think this is a dangerous game, well if your child give their personal info to a stranger it's because they are dumb and all games are like that there will be some overaged user, but Animal Jam is the safest because the chat filter is amazing Animal jam keeps upgrading it making it almost impossible to say personal info and if you are super overprotective just give your child bubble chat! They can't say almost nothing with that.

I would suggest that people steer clear of this game. Not only is it addicting, but it will cause you to have psychological problems (depression and anxiety). The thrill of the game is trading up to be rare and in order to be rare you have to put in so many hours of play time. This would be ok if in the end the reward was rares, but then once you achieve your dreams the company will randomly gift a large amount of these items into the game in an attempt to boost sales. But with a total disregard to players that actually traded up. You can beg them to stop and they act as though this has no affect on the trading system. This company is greedy and only cares about making money, not it's customers. It's a very unhealthy game for kids and it has negatively impacted my life.
