We installed our blinds this weekend without difficulty, which replaced existing blinds we purchased from American Blinds 10 years ago.We were very pleased with their product & service. They arrived when promised and they even emailed us, to follow up to be sure we were satisfied. Excellent service... thank you.

Zebra Blind that we finally love

Love your selections and prices are more reasonable than other retailers. However, our Zebra Blind was missing one end cap. Called to get one sent...wrong one was sent. Made another call and finally received the proper end cap. Bit of a hassle with the phone calls and having to take the blind down to put the end cap on that should have been there to begin with. Still pleased with the blind/shade and the fact that it cost much less than other retailers.

What customer service?

This company is by far the worst! One of the blinds was off by 1/2 a inch! Their suggested fix was to order a new blind. I'm glad I went with Blinds.com they are great to work with and have a return policy up to 4 blinds.

Easy to choose what I need from a great selection (and free samples of blind types and tape colors) and great prices! I am a repeat customer now for over 20 years! Every room in my house has American Blinds of various colors and sizes. I would never go anywhere else. Blinds that I have purchased 20 years ago are still perfect.

Measuring instructions were very clear. Ordering online was easy. Shipping time was great. Delivery was on time. The shade went up amazingly easy. That makes for a pretty much perfect product. I will certainly tell others about American Blinds. Thank you for being a company that can be relied on to do what they say they will do!

I have ordered cellular blinds from this company on several different occasions. I am delighted with both the quality of the shades and the responsiveness of the company. I highly recommend these folks - you can't go wrong! (One time, one shade was damaged in shipping - the company had a replacement sent off to be almost immediately - you can't beat it!)

Been a customer for 12+ years and they have never let me down. Absolutely the best quality, the easiest installation, and the most dependable company I have ever dealt with. I'm the buyer from hell, too--I can find problems with anything. But not a single problem with American Blinds.

I searched and searched for the right blinds for about 6 months!
Only your company was able to offer me a reasonable price, fast service and outstanding advice about my odd shaped windows!
I talked to Terry for 30 min the first time and she listened carefully to my problem, offered solutions within my budget and my windows look amazing now! My friend installed them in 30 min. All the hardware was included.
If we need blinds again I WILL call Terri again!

I really can't think of anything that I would change about my experience with you folks. Your delivery was quick and accurate. I messed up and ran out of one of the wallpapers. I had to reorder another roll which is what I ordered a month ago. The paper I had was discontinued but I emailed customer service and Ann Werner checked with the manufacturer to get a new roll for me. What more could I ask?

Love our Roman Shades!

We would totally buy from American Blinds again. The website is super helpful as far as measuring, etc. Love how you can label what you are ordering according to the room so that there are no mix-ups. Also, you can save your order online until you decide you want to place it. The Roman Shades we ordered were just as specified online and were easy to install. We are very happy!

Everything we have bought from American blinds has worked really well. And we liked John in Customer Service. He helped us order the three motorized shades we bought. Yes, not cheap (about $1500, total), but they are really nice and work well.

The purchase was flawless and I would change nothing. The items only took 4 days to arrive. Especially terrific was Lauren Foster who went out of her way to find me a wallpaper similar to one that was discontinued. The project turned out beautifully and I would definitely use American Blinds again.

I am so pleased with my new powder room! I was in a bit of a rush to complete the project so I thought buying local would be my best bet.
I searched MANY local stores for the perfect wallpaper but was so disappointed. I took my search online, but was only finding designs that I liked but didn't love. Price was also a factor as the area I was covering was small. I didn't want to spend too much for a roll that would end up going to waste. I finally came across American blinds.com and found exactly what I was looking for, plus got ideas for future projects! I was able to get the rolls I needed rushed to me in 2 days for less than it would have to cost to buy the same amount of wall covering from a local store. I will definitely continue to purchase from American Blinds and highly recommend them to all my friends!

The WebSite is easy and efficient to use. Great presentation. My order arrived promptly and I found the wall border to be off very high quality. No surprises - looked exactly as shown on the WebSite. Also, the customer service interaction I received via email was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend american blinds and will be a repeat customer.

I would have given a rating of 4 or 5 but am not happy with my dealings with customer service. The ordering process online was easy enough and the turn around was pretty short. The products seem to be fairly decent quality. However, when I ordered cordless shades, I ordered 3 shades, it indicated that each order would come with a cordless pole to raise and lower the shade. I assumed each shade would come with a pole but I only received one pole because it was only one order with three shades. I was told if I had done three separate orders then I would have received three poles at no extra charge. Tell me the logic in that please? Customer service was willing to charge me for more poles but not provide good customer retention service and offer to send me two more poles. By the way, the poles themselves are fully cheap plastic and they want something like $68 for additional poles. Buyer beware!

Quite disappointed

Easy check out and great selection but I ordered 28.5 in wide got 27.5 leaving gap on sides for light to come in. Feel material of shade was not similar to sample. Feels like paper or a thin fabric. I had high hopes but they weren't met. I sent email to customer service with no reply.

Bad Company!

I've tried for a couple months to find out when my product would arrive. Original order said it would be delivered the last week of May. Even received an email 2 weeks in that said "your blinds are being made". Lies lies lies! I've tried to call this company so many time in the past month. You sit on hold for several minutes only to be disconnected. I work in retail management & understand these are deferent times. Luckily I work for a company that will be around long after this pandemic as we speak & answer to our customers knowing they are the only reason we exist. This company does not return phone calls or emails. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THEM! I still get their sales emails daily trying to get more people to send then money. You've been warned. You will not be happy with this company!

[UPDATE: Their social media team contacted me and they swiftly sent me a suitable refund for the damaged product. I changed my rating to 3 stars. And if they'd been this helpful when I called the main office in March, I'd have given them 5 stars!]
You get a tiny 2-week window to fully inspect your blinds, which is useless when you buy a batch of them and are in the middle of a huge remodel.
Once I got a look at them, I realized that 75% of them had dings, scratches, and weird shiny spots that couldn't be cleaned or scrubbed off. See photos. At the time, they were totally unwilling to talk about a replacement or even cut me a partial rebate. They contacted me here, though, and very quickly made it right. Thanks!

Here are some pics of the finished workmanship. Feel free to use in advertising. No complaints or problems at all. The windows themselves were not perfectly square so my husband had to make some adjustments during installation.
We love them- it provides the exact effect we desired. The customer rep, Stephanie Boggess, was awesome on the phone. I believe my husband said they were on the phone 1.5 hrs going over exact measurements before ordering. That was outstanding customer service!
