I had purchased a new home and 11 months later had a leak in toliet Allstate sent someone out took pictures they made additional errors and destroyed bathroom that was not part of the issue. They deined my claim with a generic reason and everytime I asked for information they just stated same script. I asked to be connected with a corporate escalation department to discuss my concerns and I was told they do not have one. I ended up filing a BBB claim but this company has horrific customer service from the Agent to the adjuster and leadership is rude. You are not in good hands with Allstate. I can not leave them fast enough and would not refer this business.
My car has been in the shop for 34 days and I'm still waiting for them to fix my car. A adjuster found so many things wrong with the car including the frame of the car being bent. I was told by the adjuster that Allstate told them what they wanted to repair and had the adjuster write a estimate for the 3rd time and used the 3rd estimate because it was the cheapest one. Don't waste your time or money on Allstate. And for the ones that's giving 5 stars are Allstate friends and family they begging to do a review to look good. Allstate is a rip off.
A policy should never be cancelled. If a condition is bad before hand the preimums should reflect that. Rule number one. The customer is right rule number two, if the customer is grumpy, he is still right. Rule number three, customers put food on your table. Rule number four. See rules one through three. Im not in good hands with allstate. They dont need my business.
I was rear ended by an allstate customer on 6/19 and Had to go through my insurance to get a rental or i wouldve been with out a car until the claimed liability when I called to see if they could pick up my rental because I had exhausted the 30 days through my insurance they stated they dont do direct pay and would reimburse me after the claim was done. I have already had to pay $321 for one week and my car isnt expected to be done until 8/12 at the earliest which i cant afford to pay out of pocket for nor should I have to being the accident was not my fault.
I work for an insurance company and tried reporting a claim to Allstate today. After numerous failures due to the unhelpful automation and the website not assisting, I finally called 800-allstate. Spoke with Barbara at 9:23 AM EST. Advised the issues I was having and she told me ultimately that she couldn't do my job for me. I politely told her she was rude, and that I'm sure AS wouldn't appreciate her speaking to anyone like that. I advised her the elderly customers much catch much trouble with people like her at the helm. I've been in the insurance business for almost 30 years and couldn't believe the rudeness.
They have been good to me try to give me the best rate very polite and professional patient with me I'm old so it takes me a minute to catch on thanks for your help team of Matt Pruitt's in winder good job
We had Allstate insurance on our home and cars for more than 22 years. We had never filed a claim, ever. They told us we had to trim a tree and replace 4 tiles on our roof or they were going to cancel our policy. We trimmed the tree and replaced one part of our roof. We hadn't made it to fix the tiles yet and they canceled our policy. They canceled us after 22 years, never having filed a claim, for 4 tiles. Now we have State Farm, the same coverage, lower cost. After 30 years with this company, I purchased a new 2015 Toyota Tacoma and called to have it insured before I left the dealership. I gave them the VIN number and Allstate said the only pricing they have is on an SR5, which is a much more expensive vehicle than my basic access cab. They charged me three times the price than what I'm being charged by Geico today. Being lied to and mislead is a bad business model and I will never use Allstate for anything.
I have been a customer with Allstate insurance for years with out accidents, tickets and I have seen their commercials talking about lower insurance, money back for no accidents no deductibles. I sent them a email and they sent me a letter telling me that not everyone qualifies. That's a big Joke for as long as we been a customer we have not been a risk pay are bills on time no accidents no tickets and we don't qualify that's a joke. I'm looking for a new Insurance company now.
I have been an Allstate customer for 24 yrs. I was rear ended by another car and my vehicle was totaled. This occurred on Nov 3, I still have no car, continuous medical bills, pain and LOTS of stress. This entire event has been nothing but stress and chaos. The adjuster has been uninvolved for the most part and when involved, ineffective. There was absolutely no direction provided. As I have never been in a wreck and I have paid a lot of insurance premiums over 24 yrs, I was expecting this to be an easy process. I expected the adjuster would do her job just as all of us are expected to do. Well I was very wrong. As soon as this nightmare is over, I will be switching companies. PLEASE DO NOT USE ALLSTATE.
After paying my insurance premiums for 18 years, I submitted my first claim on April 10th, 2020 for wind damage to my siding.
Two months later I was granted $1,151.54. Allstate never sent anyone to my house to estimate the damages. Based on photos that I provided for them, I was told to change the back side of my house with a siding that was only 70% match and use the material from the back side to fix the right side of my house. And do all this with only $1,151.

Complete and udder disgust with this office. I have been with Allstate a long time, and often recommended this office, but I will no longer do this. My son who DOESN'T DRIVE yet, and just got his permit, this office is attempting to force me to pay insurance for someone that DOESN'T DRIVE YET! Total idiots! I will add him when he is done with driver's education and is actually driving! Beware... if you have a teen in your house they are waiting to rip you off! HORRIBLE!
I bought car insurance the agent told me that the payment will be $220 a month I agree paid 2 months in advance, after 2 months the payment doubled $513 for no reason I'm very good driver with clean license, I called the agent to cancel the policy, switched to progressive for half price and better company, now it's in my credit report, I'm disputing it.
Their employee that told me I wouldn't be cancelled lied. I was cancelled and allstate didn't care to help at all! Just give us money for ur last payment maybe! You will be reinstated. On their employee! Falls on me now Im cancelled and that goes to MVA. I do not recommend allstate at all! Plus you can't even call corporate! Just call centers who will just say how sorry they are. Allstate sucks!
How is it so easy to tell which roof is insured by allstate oh 98 shingle repairs. Meanwhile all my neighbors have new roofs because it's not repairable with only 20 damaged shingles.

My vehicle was parked. Allstate customer hit me. Left messages for weeks. Its hard get a actual person. There own body shop estimates $2700 in damages. I was told to do virtual assistant. Then I got slap in the face.$ 1700. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY.GET A LAWYER. EVERY TIME.IT DOESN'T MATTER TO THEM THAT YOU ARE DOING THE RIGHT THING. KEEPING THERE COST DOWN.
Worst website ever. Even worse when you try calling their contact number. When you call, you are NEVER given the option of transferring to an agent, nor do you hear ANYTHING about any kind of insurance. Instead I was subjected to a barrage of automated commercials trying to sell me crap that has NOTHING to do with insurance. Yet another fine example of corporate greed, because you know Allstate is financially compensated for providing this annoyance to their clients.
In The Marion County Court In And For Marion County Florida, Shawanda Murry v Castle Key Insurance Company (Allstate) Case#2016-CC-*******...I am forced to represent myself in court while diagnosed with Bipolar, and on psychotropic drugs. A prick test revealed that my then 12 year old daughter was allergic to mold. Mold wss found in the AC unit due to a drip pan overflow, in 10/15/15. The claim was denied. While fighting in court, the mold has spread throughout the house. Allstate has won, without me being present in court due to extreme chest pains, and a mental breakdown. Allstate is requesting Taxes, fees, and cost, with the threat of placing a lein on my house. After serving 7 years in the Navy, I built my house through the Veterans program in 1997, and I have been a loyal Allstate customer since then. I am forced to live with this mold. My family is getting sicker. I am not in good hands.
I added my driver to my policy by phone. And then we went to the messenger service to try to switch the title and the tags over to her. Allstate had me call them twice and both times I was told they would send something by email to the messenger service. An hour later nothing came and we couldn't get anything done that we needed to get done! I proceeded to chat with one Allstate agent that wasn't very nice even after I told them what had happened and how long I had to wait for them! Instead the agent on the chat finally told me there's nothing I can do for 24 to 48 hours? Why wasn't I told that the first two times I called instead of waiting an hour for an email. Because both of them agents assured me that there was something they could send that could help me. But nope. Thanks a lot for nothing.
