Since clarifying the refill order, everything has gone very smoothly in getting our Vetoryl. I have been very happy with both the price and service of our medication bought from this company.
No problems with orders but confused on how to collect pts. When ordering. Allivet has always responded quickly to calling in my prescriptions.
I am very happy in ordering my dog's meds through allivet and recommend to other to order through this website, it comes to house.
I love the prices and availability of the items I order from Allivet. However, their processing time for orders leaves something to be desired. I ordered an item that needed an ok from the vet. That was on Thursday, Mar. 2. My vet said she talked to them mid day. I called on Friday to find out when it would be delivered since they still didn't show the ok. They were processing the order and it wouldn't be shipped til Monday! I told them that this was priority but all I could do was pay extra for 2nd day shipping. I don't understand why an order ok'd on Thursday wouldn't be shipped until the following Monday. My problem occurred when my vet put another of my cats on this medicine and I started running out sooner than expected. I know they process a lot of orders, but I explained that I had a very sick cat that needed the medicine, but it took a day and a half to prepare the order and then it wasn't shipped til Monday. I will have to really ponder if I want to start getting this somewhere else that is a bit more responsive.
There are not too many places to get the eye drops needed and the vets charge too much. This is an easy way to save time and money and have it delivered conveniently to your doorstep.
SO-*******
The shampoos for my dog's skin issues is expensive, but it is less on your site even with shipping. I let a friend know about it as well, thanks.
Overall, they have been good, but they have been out of my dog's medicine for the past few months with no estimate on when they'll receive it again. Also, shipping seems a little slow sometimes. But as mentioned - overall I'm happy with them and will continue to do business with them if they receive the meds back in stock. Order number SO-*******
Prescription prices go up each month it seems. What once was a great deal has almost become an inconvenience to get my pets medications due to delays on shipping and their poor communication with my vet.
I get my dog's medicine from this site. They have the best price I have found and the autoship feature is great! The rewards points that I earn can be used for money off future orders and that helps me save even more money! My most recent order on 2/20/17 shipped quickly and only took a few days to be delivered. I am very happy with this company!
Not happy with delivery time compared to other company's I deal with. All ground regular shipping.
While that may seem appealing to people who don't want to take their animal to the vet, it allowed me to purchase the wrong prescription food for my animal. This could have been deadly. When I called to explain the problem, they told me I could send the food back with a 15% re-stocking fee, but I'd also have to pay for shipping. 3x 16lbs bags of food was going to cost almost as much as the food itself to return. I'll never order from them again.
Have been ordering insulin for our cat from Allivet for a couple of years now. Their site is easy to place an order and they ship by the next day with ice packs to keep the insulin cold. Even with the added charge for cold shipping, the insulin is way cheaper than elsewhere.
I had a painless ordering process through Allivet and the delivery was quick. I will order again from them
Ordered flea medication and heartworm prevention for my dog. Took 7 days for them to get the RX from the vet. Vet denied the heartworm prevention. I called Allivet customer service to got the flea and tick meds and the price went up considerably. I was told that I was confused. We went back and forth about the price. I said that I couldn't afford it, just forget it and hung up. The next day I get an email saying my order has shipped. The invoice reflected the inflated price. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor. I explained the situation to the supervisor and she said I was confused as well. I asked why they would ship the order after that conversation. Her response was that I didn't cancel the order. No one is that stupid that they couldn't understand that I didn't want it. I said that she was being rude to me and she asked the question,"Why because I didn't say what you wanted to hear?". How rude is that! Bottom line is that they had my credit card information and the RX and decided to steal from me. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I am not sure I am ever going to even get the medication. I am also considering changing my vet because they recommended this company.
Third time I have had problems. The "note box" on the order form is ignored. They ignore emails as well and don't respond. They refuse to call your vet when they don't get an RX approval. ALlivet will just keep sending you robot notices stating they sent another request to your vet. Even after they received the approval the order is delayed another 48 hrs. This order has been delayed over a week. Last time I will order from Allivet.
Terrible company. Lures you in with good pricing but what good is that if they don't ship it to you. It takes them on average of 3 days to put pills in box.
I am very pleased with my experience with Allivet. Their prices were significantly lower than those of my veterinarian. They were very helpful in explaining the Rx ordering process to me. When my vet failed to respond to their requests (they sent 3 in 3 consecutive days), the Allivet reps (Amanda and Ruby) were very helpful and one went so far as to call the vet herself and get a verbal approval. My products were on the way the next day and arrived soon thereafter. Both the Comfortis and the Revolution that I ordered had expiration dates in 2019.
I have waited over two weeks to receive my dogs meds and it supposedly shipped the day I ordered. Last time I ordered Meds the shipping forgot to ship it all together and my dog went without her meds for 2 weeks. PATHETIC!
I ordered Elevate Vitamin E for my 31-year old horse, to be delivered every 5 weeks. This product is amazing, and truly enables my old guy to walk comfortably. Without it, he walks with a curve in his back, and our vet believes it is related to his spine. I found the best price for Elevate on Allivet, however if it is not delivered, it has no value. The mail service placed the package in the wrong mailbox where it sat for 3 days, in freezing weather. So, it was no longer effective when it was found. I called Allivet, who first offered to send a bottle at the same, standard delivery of 5-7 days. I am nearly out of Elevate, and requested that they send it overnight. They refused -- get this -- because their responsibility ends when they slap the address label on the box. This, from customer service supervisory Monica who would not provide her full name. When I asked to speak to the VP, Customer Support, Monica said there was none, that she was in charge. When I asked to speak to the president of the company, Monica also said there was no president, however, she agreed to ship the Elevate by 2-day UPS. No president, No vice president, no responsibility beyond slapping a label on their products. "It's not our fault if the post office doesn't deliver it correctly." Maybe so, but if you care about your customers - the animals your products serve -- perhaps you should take more responsibility.
Answer: They advertise medications with photos of the manufacturers' packaging. However it seems that when a customer gets the meds they are not in the original packaging. There is really no way to verify that the meds are either authentic (as opposed to counterfeit) or that they are not expired. Individual tablets are not stamped with dates. When they failed to send me medication in the manufacturer bottle, I contacted my credit card company, then ordered from a different vendor.
