I ordered from Allivet because: amazon, cvs, and drs foster & smith were sold out. First called them & were told it HAD to have a scrip fot it. Cleamstine Fumarate --------- ( generic tavis) Funny, none of the others had to and the last I got from Walgreens didn't. That was in july/2017 - I called & they have plenty- but high $$$$. 00 we shall see.
I have tried to work with these people but, I am done! They shipped my order to the wrong address and when I complained, they forwarded the shipment back from WA St. To Florida! I was promised a call about this burt, no calls. The support is either incompetent or they lied to me. This is my last order from them!
I bought medications back in january 2017 for a year worth and i just recently noticed some of the medications are going to be expired before i get to use them. Allivet wont changed them because i already opened the box so there is going to be 4 doses i cant use because they will be expired. And i noticed the new medication which i just ordered for a year are going to be expired on june 2018 so ill have 2 doses that i wont be able to use because they are going to be expired. And no allivet i havent received your email from yesterday or the email you said was going to be sent today still waiting! Im going to make sure i tell all my animal loving friends not to use this company and spread the word and for those of you that have purchased medications from them check the dates. They are big scammers and i'll be looking for a reputable company now. Bye

I have used this company for 2 years for my dogs meds as it saves me over my vet. I have had no issues until recently when I tried to contact customer service on an order. Was on hold for 20 minutes twice. Sent three emails of which they did not respond to one of them. So as long as you know what you need and never have to change an order, you are fine otherwise they are horrible.
Allivet has made it so easy & affordable for my pet's heart medication to come directly to my home. I live far away from the nearest pharmacy. I could drive out for my pet's med but Allivet was the best online pharmacy that gave me options for free SH & the best overall price. The website is so easy to maneuver around & I can find everything I need to do with no issues. Great website!

This place hangsup on your calls or disconnects you. Does not reply to emails. Zero customer service. Once you place an order and get no service, you cant go elsewhere, they wont cancel your precription order.

I was a little wary to use this company after reading all the bad reviews but they were recommended by my vet so I went ahead and tried them out and I am glad I did. I placed my order on a Saturday and by Monday my prescription meds were being shipped to me and they arrived earlier than the expected arrival date. I will definitely continue to use this company.
The price of my pet's medication on Allivet is great compared to what I have been paying through my vet. Unfortuantely, navigating through the website was a nightmare
I mailed my Vet's written order to Allivet thru the US Postal Service. I was contacted and given a Customer # and an Order #. When I contacted their "Live Chat" a few days later, I was told by the Chat Rep that they needed an order from the Vet to fill this request. I reminded them they had the Vet's order that was included in my mailing and gave them my Cust and Order #'s. I was then told that they did have the Vet's order and the charge had gone thru. I was going to ask next when my order was due to ship, but, the Chat Rep, stopped the chat and I was then locked out.
I logged into Live Chat again today to ask about a ship date. The Live Chat Rep typed a message to tell me they couldn't fill this request without a written order from the Vet. I went thru the same conversation as above except this time the Rep, Holly, offered to cancel my order. I took her up on this offer but said I expected a refund and I also expected them to mail my Vet's order back to me so I could use it to get the med we needed. She told me they would do this as soon as they received it in the mail.
I had just made the full circle. Again! The only improvement of this experience over the first online Chat was that Holly did not eHang up on me! Those who have had positive experiences with this company should consider themselves lucky. I would not recommend Allivet. Their prices are very competitive and I'd like to do business with them, but, their Customer Service needs some serious improvement. My pet desperately needs the med I tried to order and I cannot wait for them to get their act together.
Great way to get your pets medication. I wish the shipping was cheaper. Other then that it is a great service
I had an auto ship order for prescription pet meds and got an email saying that the meds were not in stock. When I called to find out when they would be able to ship the customer service rep said they did not know. So I have a pet who needs medicine and I'm told they don't have it in stock and don't know when they'll get it? Stay away. Prices may be good but if you can't get the meds when you need them, it is worthless. I will not make any more orders with Allivet.
These pills for my 100 lb dog hip dysplasia from the Vet is 325.80. Here including special 2 day shipping is <100.00.

I made at least 10 attempts to contact customer service/support through every avenue they offered. I tried calling several times (the automated service would hang up on me), I emailed them a few times, I entered a support ticket, and I messaged them through Facebook twice. Never spoke to anyone! FINALLY I received an email that my product was on the way after receiving 10 previous emails that they were trying to get the script from my vet (that my vet already submitted). My dog was very delayed in getting her treatment. They had already taken my money so I couldn't even get in touch with anyone to cancel! I don't know how this company has been in business since the 90's.
I mailed my pet's Rx same day and they didn't start processing it for 2 weeks! I tried to call and see the status and their phone system either forced you to leave a message or hangs up after being put in hold for 11+ minutes. SO frustrating! After trying to call twice, I left a message and got zero response except receiving my pet's Rx in the mail another week later (how ironic that they mailed it the same day I left the message after 2+ weeks). Never again!

If I could give them no stars I would. There customer service is non existent! I attempted to get a prescription filled for my dogs. I would get emails stating that they did not hear back from my vet to approve the prescription, but when I checked with m vet, my vet states they had approved all but one prescription at least twice (Allivet sent multiple requests). Once the prescription was received by Allivet, I got an email from them stating my order was on hold because the vet did not approve one medication. In the email it states to reply to the email, which I did asking to send the rest of the order and take off the medication that was not approved... and nothing. No reply. Nothing. I attempted to call and each time I called the wait times was long and then I would get disconnected. I emailed again, and nothing... and then I got an email about month later saying my order was canceled. This place is terrible... I went with another online pharmacy with comparable prices but amazing customer service and they actually respond to the emails! Stay clear away from Allivet
Answer: They advertise medications with photos of the manufacturers' packaging. However it seems that when a customer gets the meds they are not in the original packaging. There is really no way to verify that the meds are either authentic (as opposed to counterfeit) or that they are not expired. Individual tablets are not stamped with dates. When they failed to send me medication in the manufacturer bottle, I contacted my credit card company, then ordered from a different vendor.
