I'm an artist and a crafter. I buy tons of art supplies at a huge discount from what they would cost at retail in American craft stores. But I have discovered that AliExpress carries everything: clothing, tools, kitchen accessories, jewelry, etc. Check AliExpress first before shopping anyplace else.
I ordered a Lethem Battery. Found out that it was insufficient, I requested a refund. They said I needed to send it back. They are supposed to supply you a return label. Instead I got a Chinese address. I tried to get a label through USPS. I had USPS on the phone for several hours. I found I could not get one because of restrictions. You may have to have a special license to do so. I told AliExpress support staff. I also said I see that in their Buyer protection (Attached) I am supposed to receive a return label free. They determined that since I did not send the battery I will have to forfeit my refund. Just SICK!

This site is a joke. My 14 yr old daughter wore a pair of Kobe 9 bb shoes for about 3 weeks of bb practice, which we ordered off this site (Alibaba), when a large chunk of the sole ripped off! I sent feedback asking for a refund or at least a new pair. I was asked to send more money!#@$? I said no of course due to the fact I'd already wasted $75.50 on this crappy knockoff. I have to believe Nike couldn't make this poor quality shoe. I have given up on trying to get any sort of refund back after several emails to/from a Chinese person! Do not shop on this site if you are looking for good quality & good service! I learned it the hard way and told that Chinese person I would spread the word!

Worst site for doing business. Keep your money safe and stay away. They put much emphasis on customer support to make you feel that your transactions are safe but in fact my credit card company blocked all transactions as soon I bought an item on Aliexpress. Turns out their concerns were totally funded. Aliexpress's Case Dispute = Nightmare, even for the most jovialist of you out here. Their system is nothing but an institutionalize organization to put a hand on your money and they prolong your Dispute Cases Ad vitam æternam, so chances are you'll settle for less and forget about it. They literally are the worst people. Trust me on this and you will never feel the urge to write a review of them.

Overall I had been having a good run with some very excellent sellers going to a lot of trouble to keep the customer happy. VOnly over last months had orders turn up with only half what I ordered or not coming at all. My most recent mishap was buying a garment steamer and on plugging it in I lost my power leaving the steamer useless Thank God for surge protection. On the box said 220v which should work in Australia. Upon telling seller they said more or less my bad luck and should c if I can get it fixed here in Australia. So I am left with a completely useless appliance which I didn't even get to use. So I would be very careful making orders with them especially electrical products.

Probably you won't even get your negative feedback published on the sellers page. And there is no way to contact Aliexpress, if the "open dispute" time is over.
If you need a cheap spare cellphone charger or something, order from Aliexpress. But be prepared to receive a low quality product. For example, the clothes they sell are cheap looking in real life. And very small - smaller than described.

Negative star! Aliexpress and some sellers are scammers. They shipped products in looong delay, buyers would never get any protection. If order same items in multiple quantity (>1), they will ship less with long delay, or received in broken pieces. Stay away and do NOT BUY anything from Aliepxress!
I've bought a lot of stuff on Aliexpress any usually I am quite satisfied. I'm in Canada and free delivery from Asia usually takes 5 to 6 weeks which I can suffer given the good prices. You do need to be careful to buy from well rated stores that have good volume since its most definitely easier to resolve problems with the seller than thru an Aliexpress mediation.
I recently bought a smartphone meant to work on 3g in Canada, but didn't. Fault was clearly seller's (and manufacturer's). I had to jump thru many hoops to win dispute and in the end still had to pay for return shipping myself. $50 on a $150 purchase.
I still buy from Aliexpress but only trinkets which I wouldn't bother returning in case of an unresolved dispute.
