It's an at your risk type of site... you can find some amazing deals and items there but if you have a problem don't expect any help. I limit my purchases to less then $100 for regular dealers and less then $20 when dealing with a new supplier.
More then once received defective goods and after going through a long and painful dispute process where I was required to provide video and photographic evidence AND shipping the defective item back Ali Express decided in favour of the seller.

I have bought about 10 items or more. None of them lasted. Either they broke immediately and soon. It looks ok when you get them... So review them it's ok but within few usages they breaks.
One of walkytalky was broken and I have asked for the replacement. They asked for many evidences and asked me try so many things before they agree to ship one out. Then they asked me to buy something so they can ship the item together. I had to buy one and it broke almost right away. More money down the drain.
I ordered around $ 200 per month. The prices are resonable. Most of my orders are clothes, stocking, small kitchen items. The site suspended the bad sellers and refunded my money. This happened 2 times for over one and a half year.
95% of the goods match the description.
Often it takes 3-4 week to arrive.( canada). I love they pay the seller after you comfirmed the delivery and satisfy with the good. But doulble check the size and feedback from other buyers before you pay.
The shoes work great for my boyfriend. He's very insecure about his height because I'm so much taller than him. After buying these, he's a few centimeters taller and wears them all the time. I'm thinking about buying him a second psi!
I really like to buy in this store because they are always very professional. This time I bought for my daughter and she now became a fan of this brand. The products are excellent and there are almost always very interresting deals.
Even delivery policy state 60 days, aliexpress send e-mails with extended time alredy 3rd email which extend by 10 days, no more option to ad my propose, no more any chat support on site just robot... 1/3 year for delivery... jooke
I ordered a clock and no where did it say that the clock was completely in Chinese. It took forever for them to ship the product and then when it was in Chinese I requested a refund and was told very rudely in an email that they were not giving me a refund... they actually said and I quote... along with a picture of a face crying. "my friend, i don't want to waste your time, but clients want chinese version, and pictures shows it is chinese, so i think you know that, very sorry no refund."
No where in the product description does it say the product is Chinese, so they are also liars!

This was by far the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I ordered a hat in the beginning of October and when it wasn't delivered I tried to message the seller who until January 15th told me that it was on it's way and had arrived in my city. I had already opened a dispute by then and my experience with customer service was awful! They did tell me that the hat had actually been returned in early December, but even though they knew I had not received my product it took them until January 22nd to issue my refund! There are a lot of fraudulent sellers on this site and it is clearly not monitored very well. I would think twice before ordering something here and see if you can find it elsewhere. I'll never shop on Aliexpress again. I gave it one star because I could not submit my review with no starts, but that's really what my review would be... minus 5 star experience.
I order from Sammydress.com all the time and have never had a problem that they did not stand behind but this Aliexpress has sellers that do not send the merchadise and the ones that do send damaged poor quality pieces and want pictures to be sent and never send refunds or new merchandise. I ordered 7 pieces and got 1 that I could actually wear. Horrible experience and will NEVER recommend shopping there to anyone.
Just a warning... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Over a month, $300 charged to my card... no product and zero customer service to help you... it stated my order would auto cancel if the seller fails to ship... it did not... my order eventually showed delivered to Illinois... I live in NY... can't contact anyone just a chat support which did nothing. Finally charged back my credit card to get a refund! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
AliExpress has been a great service during this Covid period. In the beginning it was slow and almost hopeless. Shipments lost and held back in the countries. Somehow Aliexpress manage to overcome that shipping obstacle and manage to get back on track delivering to the world. Good job AliExpress.
Aliexpress does NOT back up purchases and you won't receive them. I filed a dispute as I ha ent received the item. Aliexpress deemed it invalid and said to contact carrier.
NO resolution, no product, complete rip.off.

Obviously, some people that review with one star doesn't know enough about the product they are buying.
As return items to china is not a good option, you must be sure what you want, and look at product reviews to see if its a good deal or not.
I'm a platinum member, it has no advantages, but i'm experiencied in buying here.
This IS NOT like a local store that you can ask the people that work there about te product. Aliexpress has distributors, companies that take the product from the industry to you. Probably the person in the email is not any engineer or someone that knows about the product more than the description. This is the true. You can buy here if you know what you need and what product is.

It took more than 3 months for my motherboard to arrive.
There was a problem with it.
There's a 15% restocking fee that they won't give until you return the product at your own cost.
Sent it back. Gave them a tracking number. Asked for my money back. They said they wouldn't pay until they received the motherboard. Once they did, they ghosted me and stopped allowing messaging and my email address.
Now they have the Motherboard and my money $250+.
Opened a dispute with AliExpress. They decided no money for me, which helps LCL Computer Store steal my money.
Tried to write a review of LCL but you can't do that after the dispute is closed.
Opened a dispute with VISA, they don't do 6 month old disputes.
I'm out $250 and 6 months of time.

The prices are reasonable, and the products I've ordered have all been good quality from most retailers on AliExpress, but the delivery service used by most of the retailers are very, very slow. I live in Japan, and most items are shipped from China. I also order many items from Amazon in the US, and those usually take no more than a week to 10 days to be delivered. However, the items sent from China (which is obviously waaaay closer to me than the US) take much longer to reach me. The fastest is a couple weeks, but it more often takes 1.5 ~ 2 months (sometimes even longer).
I was so close to ordering when i thought to first check out the reviews! I hope everyone does too. Thanks to all those who cared enough to write a review! The reviews saved me money and much agrevation!
When I requested to return the item the seller refused to communicate because I wanted the seller to help me with return shipping... the seller refused to communicate.
I contacted AliExpress customer service and they said to wait for the 10 day return period to pass then I could get a full refund through customer service. I applied for an appeal and was told Id get an email and confirmation number, I received neither.
I called today and was told my appeal was denied, no explanation. Matter of fact the rep hung up on me.
AliExpress told me to let the 10 return expire. Now seller gets the money and AliExpress falsely claims to assist.
I called AliExpress for weeks and no support at all, just reps saying, Oh, I understand. Then no follow-up.
What can I do? NO BUYER PROTECTION.Id avoid AliExpress

Their clothes {human or pet) & shoes seem to run extremely small. Accessories for pets seem to be to big.
We also got nowhere on a refund, after being asked to jump thru hoops, on a solar phone charger... That did not work.

Answer: I purchased 3 pair of van's brand shoes via different companies on aliexppress and all were true to size. The off brands are not, so you need larger than you wear. But, ask and ali will usually provide a size comparison chart for you to use.

Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store. Answer: There is no customer service what so ever so be very careful when buying on AliExpress. Buyer protection is a load of BS and if problems arise with your order they will always side with the seller. I would suggest using a shop that someone that you know has already used to purchase hair.

Answer: Do not buy from aliexpress the quality is terrible and lots of sellers never send the items. Also they sell counterfeit designs too which is illegal to purchase.
