Alibris is the first place I look for all my books. Since I have an extensive resource and reference library, I would have paid thousands of dollars if I had bought all titles from a book store. The overall selection is good, used book conditions are as described and prices are reasonable. Many times I pay more for shipping than for all the books I have ordered.

I love Alibris; they're my favorite place to buy books on the internet. I wish Ex-Library Books would comprise there own category, because I mostly find them unacceptable, being battered, stickered, and magic markered into some hellish mess of a thing. And I wish it was formally stated, in no uncertain terms, that Very Good means that the book absolutely does come with a dust cover in very good condition, and that, even a very good copy of any book that does not include a dust cover would automatically demote that book to the Good category. That just seems like common sense, to me.

I entered 3 books for a total of $41.00 that said they had free shipping but it still showed shipping of $11 when I went to check out. I cancelled the other two books and bought only one.
