When one of my books was sent to "dead mail" by the USPS and I was informed by them that it was irretrievable, Alibris's customer service stood behind me and gave me a full refund. I like that I can determine where a book is going to be shipped from- meaning a closer location has a slightly smaller carbon footprint. It also gives me the opportunity, when ordering more than one book, to try and get them all from the same seller, thus reducing shipping. This was a children's "pull tab" book. It was very expensive and a couple of the pull tabs were broken. I returned it for a refund.
